Hello, I spent the past couple of days trying to compile Slim ROM for the OnePlus One and I finally succeeded yesterday. I do not have the phone yet, so I'd like someone to test it prior to creating a development thread.
Download ROM
MD5 Checksum: 62b87e6a42045e51f707031ebbf624d5
All credits for the ROM go to the Slim team for their hard work on development. I simply spent a few hours adding OnePlus One specific stuff and fixing some issues that popped up along the way. For more info about the rom, check out their website: http://www.slimroms.net/
Thanks in advance for anyone that tests, and let me know how it goes.
PS: Only flash if you know what you are doing and understand the risks. If your phone disintegrates, explodes, or turns into a dolphin, it's not my fault.

Appreciate the hard work. Wish I could test it, but I haven't a device either. Have you received an invite yet?
Why hello there . I have been pretty active with XDA during launches of new phones. I was apart of the fascinate and galaxy s 3 community for a while. But I am glad to say I just got my invite today to get a 64gig version Should have it in a few weeks, hopefully with cell service too, thank god my verizon contract is up.

Thanks for testing. Could you let me know what the other issues are?
My device/kernel/vendor trees are all up to date with the official cm11 branch, so the issues probably lie somewhere else.
More details would be very helpful, thanks

Anyone out there in devsville planning on porting MIUI ROM to the mt4g?
Just figured I'd strike this topic, if it hasn't been brought up yet then let's kick up some dust..
I sure hope so, it would definitely give us something new to use on our devices. I kinda like this rom from the Nexus. Now if only we can get the ball rolling on cyanogen 6 for the MT4G.
Somebody behind the scenes is working on it. Should have a test build by the end of the week/weekend I would assume.
do you know who is working on this project?

Its drooping very soon
im off on saturday so bring it on.
Wow, now an MIUI ROM for the MT4G would simply be amazing. I'm looking forward to this more so than CM6.1.
Someone please port this over. I saw it running over top the latest cyanogen. And it was amazing.
Anyone know if the miui contact app can sync pics with Twitter accounts. Or does the contact app have favorites and stuff ?

Hi,
I've looked around and tried a number of different files. I tried the bugfix one. Everytime I install and load the rom I'm getting a FC every 5 seconds. Does anyone know of a fix for this or something I'm doing wrong?
Thank you very much,,
you need to ask in the development thread for the ROM
Oh ok thanks.

Hi guys,
Just a little refresher in case people didn't know about my HTC Desire HD ROMs list.
It has been going for over 2 years now and I've noticed recently that there's still quite a bit of development, so some of you who don't know about it might find it useful.
It's regularly updated.
In case it helps.
Thanks

Thanks for the list. Is there a way to know which ones work well with the DHD's low amount of RAM? Some are just slow right out of the gate.
nice work on the list. thanks!
tried a few of them. i can say taktik 4.4.2 is the most stable in my personal opinion and experience.
sony xperia kat ui is so buggy.
running cm11s one plus edition m9 now. can report bug on the es file manager so far. everything else seem to work ok.
is there an updated version of CWM recovery touch? cos im running the philz version rite now...

update your recovery to 4EXT (4ext Recovery) or TWRP (TWRP) and you will able to flash kitkat rom.
sorry for posting again. would it be a good or bad idea to include the year as well, together with the day and month for each of the releases. easier to track or sort them up by release date in my opinion. cheers

That's a good idea. Depending on the length of the ROM names, if I shorten them a little - I can add the year.
You're right, it will make it easier now. I'll give it a shot this weekend..

Hello OMNI Team,
I love your rom and i love that you implemented the data fix for Sprint. I am curious if you plan to add sprinthiddenmenu and fix the Update PRL/Profile features found in mobile settings?
So far CM, Vanir, and now Slimkat have these features working and code is up, I was wondering if that would help you guys implement this so we can have those features working, sometimes updating PRL fixes data issue on Sprint and it would be wonderful to stay on OMNI without having to flash stock to update those pieces.
Thank you for all the hard work you guys put in, I along with the community appreciate it.
Bump there is now a fix any chance

I would really enjoy this as well
If not, pointing me in the direction of how to do it for my personal builds would be greatly appreciated.
We'd need a maintainer that actually is on Sprint to implement and test this stuff.

It's OT for this thread so won't say anything more then, Yes: I also tried DU. Would still love to see the fix in Omni. Back to stock for now, hoping to catch the 4.4.3 OTA that will give us Spark.
The CyanogenMod team just posted the ROM's source code for the Galaxy Note 3 (you can check on Google, I can't insert a link).
Does it help us?
Maybe someone can port it to our device?

I saw the post too. But it's have nothing to do with CM... It's just the original stock build.
I thought it helped to have access to the source to make your own build of CM.

It's says to gather any existing source code on the CM wiki on "How To Port CyanogenMod Android To Your Own Device".
I'm no Dev but samsung code is where I would start if I wanted to port something new.

My P600 just broke this morning (dropped it on accident and broke screen, went into bootloop after trying to boot into recovery) so I am not going able to test it. I have been studying the CM source for the note 3, original note 10.1 wifi, note 8 wifi, and the Note 10.1 2014 stock source the last couple weeks and should be able to try and throw something together but have no idea if I will be able to get it working since I can't test it.

Bummer, sorry to hear about the loss! I can help test, though you'll want more than one, any other takers? I live like 10 min from you (Foxboro), so we could always attempt a coffee house meet up/test/troubleshoot session.

I'm basically at the point where I have source from 3 different ROMs open and I am trying to see what changes were made between each one to port CM to each device already. I should have some actual working (though not finished) in about a week or so if my schedule allows for it. This is my first ROM so it is pretty much just a learning process. I go to school and work full time so most of the work is done in the VERY limited free time I actually have. If I get anything I feel comfortable enough that it won't brick your device, I will let you know.
Hey guys, most of us know that cm13 is in the works for our beloved G2, but I don't think many of us know anything about the development.

No, unfortunately... This time I got an error about "No private recovery resources for TARGET_DEVICE", I made some research and don't find anything explicit. I'll try more this week, but I work, so I can't do as much as I did last week-end. Also, I think @Rashed97 is the maintainer on github, so every progress came from him. We also have to wait until we have all necessary files. But I'll try again and again, don't worry dude !
so excited for trying marshmallow on g2
there's some temporary commits on gerrit, which fixes cm-13.0 build for g2.
But, as I said, they're temporary. When cm13 gets the cm12.1 features, these commits won't be needed.
Great Daniel, thanks! There is a chance that you could share an alpha cm13 with us? just for curiosity of course, I'm expecting that most isn't working at the moment
The reason no one has posted builds yet is because cm13 is unusable as a daily driver. RIL isnt fully working and I don't know what else is broken since I don't use it much. When it's stable enough, then we'll start distributing test builds.

I think we are just getting excited including me. This little phone has gone a long way. They are working hard, seems like new activity on the commits every day. I think we all appreciate the work and its hard to contain ourselves especially when we start seeing all the development activity. Seems to happen every release cycle, patience versus readiness. Look forward to the build when it's ready, I think they will give us something good.

Its really hard for the devs to know how far they are let's say they get most the bugs out but one then when they try and fix that one bug other bugs come around only to make things worse but let's hope that like last year it'll be mid November for the new android to start rolling out for us.
