Its not the N9005... Download Phone info app from play store to see all things...
I think your phone is N900T originally, but it has been flashed with the N9005-base custom rom.
I posted these screen shots from phone info. I also think it is sm-900t. I can use local sim here which means it unlocked. Will flashing other custom roms have effect on carier lock? I actually have never came across any carier locked device so asking noob questions

What region of note do you have? If it's a Hong Kong one then you will run into issues.

Hey i have the Australian XSA which the unsubsidised international version practically buying it outright without carriers
Flash this via PDA in Odin. It should sort you out. If it bootloops again after you flash it, take your battery out for a minute or so, put it back in then boot into recovery, wipe cache and reboot. Should be 100% then.
Hey
Hey i did what you told me and now Root is not working even after flashing it on odin
Edit:: there is a new cf auto root for kitkat - you probably used the old one

My fried bought a Galaxy S4 from AT&T when he was in US. While leaving the country he bought an unlock code from AT&T and unlocked the phone using the same in India. His phone was working fine initially. Then sudden signal loss started to occur and need to restart the phone to get the signal back. Tried using different Indian carriers and the same issue continued. Will I be able to solve this issue by flashing a custom rom into his phone? Do I need to take care of anything else, like the modem firmware or something. Attaching a screen shot of his phone details. Please help guys..

You could try reflashing the same MDL firmware first. If that doesn't work, then install TWRP and try the different flashable modems.

Thank you for the reply.. However we have already tried a factory reset.. Will it be a problem if I flash the modem firmware available in the Indian Galaxy S4?? The Indian version comes with an exynos octa processor instead of the Qualcomm one..

Doing a factory reset is different from reflashing the firmware. I don't think the other modems would work, but I'm not entirely sure. If they're recovery zips you could try, but if they're ODIN files it definitely won't work.

I have tried reflashing the phone with Odin. The device now has the latest Android 4.4.2 firmware from AT&T. It seemed to work fine after flashing. We got the network and were able to make calls as well. However after sometime the signal got cutoff itself. Tried flashing again, the same thing happens. Any other suggestions??

I have got n900T varient can i flash Android 5.0 of N9005 to my n900T .. Simply can i convert N900T to N9005 ?? Am in a country there is no t mobile network and its useless to me . the wifi calling is also useless .. So can i simply fully convert n900t to n9005 ?? Thanks
I dont you should flash other rom than that of your own phone model.

No, converting you N900T to N9005 isn't possible. Flashing N9005 firmware will result in a trip to your local service centre IF Odin doesn't tell you it's the wrong firmware to begin with.
Thanks for reply .. Bith have the same hardware thats why am wondering if ita possible ..
If your problrm refers to carrier check this out how to unlock your note http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2475552

Hello guys i have a samsung LTE note 3 , singapore version.
I am using the phone in India.
there are many note 3 that have got the lollipop version.
baseband N9005DXUGNK1
version 4.4.2
1. can i flash the UK (vodafone) lollipop version on my phone via ODIN ?
2. will it trip my knox after flashing?
3. Will i have to unlock my phone after flashing to use Indian sim? (because when i got the phone i did not have to unlock it)
Better if you flash poland one.

What is the reason that I should flash Poland? Because I have already downloaded the UK version .
And is it safe to flash
