Custom ROM if you don't need warranty. Or, factory reset.

Why do I have stripes on my screen, when there's anything red or blue on screen? I mean that every red or blue color have stripes. Brightness does not have an effect. I'll upload images if necessary

Try factory reset *2767*3855# ( it deletes all your data) if that doesn't work flash a stock rom and bring your phone in for repairs

I tried factory reset from settings, is it the same thing? Anyway it didn't help. I barely rooted, so I probably won't do rom stuff. Should I return my phone?
Edit: I remembered that I updated from 2.3.3 to 2.3.5. Did you mean that?

Yes factory reset from settings is the same. Your post was ambiguous so i'll just say what you have to do. Flash a stock rom ie xxxkqB etc or if you are NOT rooted you can skip this step. Then bring your phone in for repairs.
I had a dead zone on my screen, but already rooted so my warrenty was void so I just flashed a stock rom and brought it in for repairs. They did not charge me and replaced my whole screen. Hope this helps.

Does unrooting get warranty back?
Sent from my awesome SGS+
Yes , but its safer to flash a stock rom. If you worried about your data just back it up with Titanium back up.

Hello.
First of all, do not speak English. I translated with Google.
A week ago I have my S4. Update to "I9500UBUAMDK" and root with "http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2264679".
On occasion, when I open my camera, phone restarts.
I did the wipe (data, cache and dalvik), but the problem persists.
It is hardware or software?
Any solution?
Yo should try another root method, or a custom rom (pre rooted) maybe?
Have the same issue. There's a thread about that in the general section.

I had the issue on stock firmware, not noticed it again since rooting and flashing a custom rom.

Now I downloaded the new firmware "I9500ZSUAME1". What method you used to root?

Try limiting the background processes to 4 using the developer options. This should take care of the random reboot while using the camera app. Also serves to speed up the device a bit.

Ok, Since updating to kitkat the one that brought us the knock code srcurity, I've been having a few problems.
I have a SIM free D802 with 80220B kitkat OTA update and here are some of the problems.
1 battery life is halved
2 stock keyboard lags at times (one of being now as I'm swyping this)
3 quiet mode is intermittent and the set quiet mode timer doesn't work at all now.
4 all my lg apps including system and os have a date of 1970
I've tred factory reset and it's still the same.
Anyone else experiencing this?
Have i had a bad flash? If so how do i reflash the update?
Thanks in advance Andy

Are you sure you have knock code? As the 20b in my case did not have it. The 20d update had knock code.
You can Check for how to get back to stock tutorials and download your latest kdz.

Yeah sorry it's 80220d it was a typo.

So I'll have to download the kdz and reflash 80220D ?

Hi,
May you suggest ways on how to return to complete stock or for warranty purposes? [emoji1]
Thank you for your time!

The most we can do is to do a super wipe and flash a stock rom with Odin, it will flash the stock recovery too, but KNOX will always stay at 0x1 until a genius dev(geohot ?) finds how to reset it, so if it's a Samsung Store they will not take it to repair.

Unless you live in Europe, Samsung and all the other OEMS are required to repair the rooted device under warranty unless they can prove with facts that rooting is the cause of the faillure EU law.
Guys,
After having such sh*& battery life I have determined that my phone is faulty. How do I revert my phone to original OEM status?? Do I have to send it back with the new NC4 update?? Please advise.
Thanks!
Is it rooted or Nah

Flash back to stock via the instructions in my guide.
Just curious if you tried changing the battery?
Ya I bought another battery and still similar batt life. I also noticed I have very very weird things running in the background on battstats and wake lock detector... Didn't matter what ROM I had installed. I did a complete wipe each time plus cache dalvik multiple times.. Still nothing
