Sending phone to Samsung. How to revert? - Verizon Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Guys,
After having such sh*& battery life I have determined that my phone is faulty. How do I revert my phone to original OEM status?? Do I have to send it back with the new NC4 update?? Please advise.
Thanks!

Is it rooted or Nah

Flash back to stock via the instructions in my guide.
Just curious if you tried changing the battery?

Ya I bought another battery and still similar batt life. I also noticed I have very very weird things running in the background on battstats and wake lock detector... Didn't matter what ROM I had installed. I did a complete wipe each time plus cache dalvik multiple times.. Still nothing

That's odd... Which lock screen mod did you try to install? (make sure it's compatible!)
My advice would just be to Odin it. It's really strange that a nandroid backup didn't take care of it
Did you change the kernel at all?
That pop up looks like one of the things you can do on developer options.

Thanks guys. Just let sprint. They tried fir 2 hours to makes that message dissappear. Flashed new software several times. The tech finally gave up and ordered me a new phone. She said it was hardware related.

How does one fully wipe the device from EVERYTHING?

I 'm having a problem with a Note 3 Keyboard that I did not ever install. It keeps coming back. I think it's embedded in my phone somehow. I've tried wiping everything with factory reset, both from the ROM and recovery. I've used PIT files with firmware, and I have used the file manager in TWRP to wipe out as much as possible. However when I lboot up, I still find files with older dates on them from like a week ago. How does anythign stay behind? I don't understand this and I want this B.S. app off of my phone. It's not a legit app. Samsung told me there is was never a note 3 keyboard OTA for any model of S4 and that it should not be there. Can someone tell me how to really get my device back to 100$% OEM standards please!
I need help. This note 3 keyboard is eating my battery. It used to last all day, now I have to charge it two or three time a day. Please tell me how to truly wipe my device back to OEM. Thanks.
Backup what you need from internal. Wipe internal SD card and Odin back to stock unrooted.

[Q] Returning to stock? What does it mean? Help

What does unrooting mean, does it make the phone go back to normal like it was when it was bought with the original lg ui and software? All the button shortcuts work? And what exactly does returning to stock mean? is that so you can get a stock rom based of the lg one? or is it back to original software? I looked through the threads about returning to stock but didn't understand what it meant exactly. Sorry i am new to all this. Im asking because my phone is having some problems with battery, i rebooted my phone, and for some reaosn when i sleep the phone dies with like 60 percent battery it didnt do this before. And yes i close the carrier iq and google location services. And i installed wakelock, but it doesnt say anything unusual. Its kind of hard to use this phone like this now, i loved it but now im kind of regretting trading my s4 for this phone. I hope nothing is wrong with my phone. Should i root in this situation? I don't really know what to do, if i should just sell my phone, i dont want to thought. Im asking what unrooting and returning to stock mean, so that if i do root it, and i dont like it, does it mean i can go back to the original stock lg rom it came with? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Why don't you try factory format

What is that?

Factory format is basically factory reset. This wipes all your data but does not unroot your device.

oh alright, i think i should just go ahead and root because i already reset it and it hasn't fixed the problem. I just wanted to know that if i do root that can i go back to normal stock by unrooting?

Restored stock yesterday, suddenly speaker not working.

Earphones work fine, but nothing will make a sound when there are no earphones plugged in. Not even vibrations (apart from the USB connect/disconnect ones). Calling, video's, music, YouTube, nothing.
I have a D802 which is now just stock I guess, I screwed up something and had to play around in the Download Mode to get back to stock losing Root and such.
Anyone have any idea? I have no problem flashing another ROM but if that doesn't fix the problem I'd rather not waste time and risk what happened yesterday again :/.
Really appreciate any help or advice you guys are capable of giving, I'm just worried that it's related to the stock firmware I restored to last night, could that be possible?
Do a factory reset

I will, I'm planning on flashing CloudyFlex in a few minutes, you mean the wipe in recovery, right?
Nope, settings>general >backup and reset >factory reset. This will wipe everything from the phone, so make necessary backups

I did exactly what you said and got no results.
I then went into recovery, wiped, installed a custom ROM, still the same.. no sound.
What do I do :S
If speakers are not working on stock rom, then I guess u should visit customer care

Auto Rotate problem

I was with Kitkat German, and suddenly - when I tried to rotate the screen, he also turns around, but he did not turn around right .. and the camera takes pictures upside down, even when I went back to -4.2.2 same thing and not solved ..
Access Warranty?
UP
It's the kitkat modem that messes up the auto-rotate and some other things, have you tried downgrading the modem if possible? Download a flashable zip for the previous modem and flash it via recovery.
Link please for old modem?
thanks.
I'm currently having the same problem. The old modems are not working.

I installed the old modem and now the screen does not turn around at all.
You need a Kitkat baseband for a Kitkat ROM!
Some folks reported that recalibrating the gyro helps.

I can't recalibrate it. The settings app force closes if I try too.

I would prefer flashing the rom new and to not mess up with different basebands.
