I was with Kitkat German, and suddenly - when I tried to rotate the screen, he also turns around, but he did not turn around right .. and the camera takes pictures upside down, even when I went back to -4.2.2 same thing and not solved ..

It's the kitkat modem that messes up the auto-rotate and some other things, have you tried downgrading the modem if possible? Download a flashable zip for the previous modem and flash it via recovery.
Link please for old modem?
thanks.
I'm currently having the same problem. The old modems are not working.

I installed the old modem and now the screen does not turn around at all.
You need a Kitkat baseband for a Kitkat ROM!
Some folks reported that recalibrating the gyro helps.

I can't recalibrate it. The settings app force closes if I try too.

I would prefer flashing the rom new and to not mess up with different basebands.

What's going everyone? I'm having this auto-rotate bug on every Kitkat ROM other than LG Stock KK and I was told that it is the modem but I have no idea where to find a Stock KK modem for when I want to switch back to LG Stock KK. I have a T-Mobile LG G2 and I know where to find the older modem to fix auto-rotate but can't find LG KK modem for T-Mobile.. Anyone that can help would be greatly appreciated.

Awesome! You just saved me a couple ROM installs! It also fixed Google Camera app. I guess orientation device didn't work.
So for some reason my screen won't rotate into landscape mode. I have the rotation setting turned on but nothing happens. And when I try to calibrate my sensor, the settings app force closes. Any ideas?

Just stock 12b. I'm beginning to think it might be the modem. Because I was lending a hand a experimenting with the 24a kitkat build for the VS980 and had to flash a kk modem to be able to boot into the build. Do you think the modem would screw with rotation settings?

Yes it's definitely the modem I've read some people tried the kk modem and in order for rotation to continue to work had to continue using the kk modem or downgrade via flashtool

How do you downgrade via flashtool? I just went into recovery and flashed the 12b modem and rotation still doesn't work.
Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk
Flashing back an old radio works fine for me, have you tried that? no need to use LG flash tools if you can simply just flash the modem via recovery.
Going to try the kk modem I flashed yesterday.

I had an issue where I was on cm11 with rotation working completely fine and then decided to try a stock KitKat ROM. After reverting back to cm my rotation was broken. I tried everything you could imagine aside from going through the whole starting from scratch bs.. So I tried one last thing and it worked! I simply flashed my stock T-Mobile modem that's supposed to break rotation but funny enough it fixed it! Try that and see if it helps from now on.
hello everyone,
yesterday I flashed the x-note rom on my note 3 and for some reason it got stuck in a boot loop so I flashed the official uk 4.4 rom and when it booted up I found out that my phone was absolutely no sound and as a result I cannot receive or make calls. I also tried flashing the volume boost mod and it didn't work.
help me please.
I'm desperate.

Are you using an Nordic/Scandinavian variant? - if so, flash back to stock. There is some issues with them particular variants and has been since 4.4.2. - Even if you aren't I'd go back to 100% stock to be 100% sure first to determine if it may be a hardware issue also.
after i update my note 3 with kitkat 4.4.2 NH1
I had big problem with my all sensors stopped working such as ( auto rotation - air gesture - etc)
& when Write *#0*# & choice sensors test the result was like as my attached pic below

I see all values are zero, so there are the problem with the sensors (may be hardware problem or software problem).
Try to factory reset or flash the stock firmware.
If that does not help, you may need to go to the service center for warranty/repair.

Short answer: If it doesn't work with a clean flash of stock, then it's hardware defective.
