Boot into recovery and clear the cache etc then reflash Stock again, should be OK after that

I've searched and searched the forums since last Friday but I am still unable to find a resolution (if any) to my issue so I apologize if this is a repost.
I went to flash my Note 3 last Friday and ended up with an "ext4 image invalid" error. When trying to reboot, my phone will only enter recovery and download modes (basic power up shows Firmware Error Upon Upgrade message). When I wipe the cache and factory restore, a basic power up will sit on the "Samsung Galaxy Note 3" title screen. I've tried reflashing other ROMs but I either end up with the ext4 error or another error (apologize as I'm not near my computer right now).
One big thing I forgot to do is to turn off the Reactivation Lock before the original flash which I think is causing my errors but I cannot boot up now to turn it off. I've also tried to recovery through Kies 3 but its saying that my device isn't supported. I have no backup files.
Is there any way to get my Note 3 back up and running?

Did you have a Nandroid backup in recovery?
Look on DjeMBey thread in android dev section of this forum. Download one that you can flash with CWM...
Also try flash a full stock rom with Odin?

Hi there,
I had Bobcatrom 4.3 with my UK N9005 on Three (unbranded). I downloaded and flashed N9005XXUENA6_N9005OXXENA5_N9005XXUENA2_HOME.tar.md5 which was fine. This boots fine without issue, however I am now trying to install a KitKat recovery but I am repeatedly getting the same issue with Odin (tried 3.04/07/09) in that it is recognised on the port but fails with "Can't open the serial(COM) port". Each and every time!
The update has gone well so far. I have installed the official rom and that boots. In download mode it states "UDC START" and also "WRITE PROTECTION: enable" - not sure if that has anything to do with it?
I have followed the instructions but I just can't flash a custom recovery and I have tired the CWM, the latest Philz advanced one and also TWRP. Removing the battery, restarting my phone, restarting the laptop, trying different versions of Odin and different USB sockets on laptop - nothing!!
"Can't open the serial(COM) port" - is as far as I'm now getting.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
Anyone any suggestions?
Your help would be much appreciated!

Reinstall your USB drivers, also make sure you have the right version of recovery, looks like you're using the older one's for 4.3 and not 4.4
UDC/Write protection etc are different, and have nothing to do with that so don't worry about them.

I odined L720VPUFNAE_L720SPTFNAE_SPR.zip a couple of days ago, it gave me a clean system. That's what it was supposed to do. Then I rooted and install recovery, installed a Custom ROM (MIUI), and found battery couldn't be charged when phone was completely powered off... Frustrated, so I decided to go back to stock NAE..
Flashed the same file: L720VPUFNAE_L720SPTFNAE_SPR.zip again using Odin today. System crashed after 4.4.2 was booted up. Keeped giving me these dialogs at this NEW system:
"Unfortunately contacts has stopped"
"Unfortunately the process COM.ANDROID.PHONE has stopped"
I clicked "OK" on the dialogs, they kept coming up, just wouldn't go away.. I couldn't do anything with these stupid errors...
I am confused, why a STOCK ROM still had issue? Isn't it supposed to wipe any data/partitions from previous
ROM(s)?
It doesn't wipe any data from previous ROM you have to go to recovery and do a factory reset.

HI All,
I have an issue with installing the carbon rom."CARBON-KK-NIGHTLY-20141012-0230-jflte" along with "gapps-kk-20140606-signed". After using safestrap to install the rom it boots to a message of "Unfortunately, the processing com.android.phone has stopped." I am unable to click on anything but ok and I am stuck in a loop. I do a factory reset and it doesn't change anything. I am on a Samsung S 4 on AT&T. I screwed up and deleted a backup so now I'm stuck with i337ucufni1 stock and it is running android 4.4.2. I tried to install a different kernel but the only one that would install is "Jeboo_Kernel_i337_v3_1-i" and then the factory wipe again. Still no results. I also tried to install "occam-jdq39-factory-345dc199" and "iX-TW-4.3-jf-Kernel-v0.7c" I also tried some of the older nightly carbon roms.

Thanks for the quick reply. I am using the stock rom slot. But I just tried one of the other rom slots. When the phone boots it just the stock rom still. I even formatted data and it didn't change.

Try another rom, wipe cache.

If you're not on MDL base you'll have to run a safestrap compatible ROM. I don't think carbon falls under that category.
