Get a replacement. It's always better to have a new device rather than a faulty one I hope you know how to return your Moto E on flipkart.

When you return your device. You money get's refunded into your Flipkart account wallet in 24hrs. There's no option for Replacement on Flipkart, it's only return.
Email and raise a request asap...they don't like late requests

Even my moto E got 2 dead pixel
Its visible only during video playback its visible as 2 light blue dead pixels, 1 almost middle of the screen and other near navigation touch button
I tried for a replacement option but flipkart got only return option so applied for a return and awaiting pickup.
Can you plz confirm they offered a return with cash back or replacement for your case ?

I ordered my Nexus One at 1:41pm EST - literally minutes after the site was live.
The next day at 7am in DC, I was playing with it in my hands. The most complete piece of mobile hardware in recent times was a pleasure to hold - but not for too long.
13 days later, I noticed a single dead led announce itself on the right-most horizontal row.
I called HTC, talked to Matt Long/Lawn who promptly offered to replace my phone without any questions. I should expect it by the end of this week with return instructions to send it back. They took credit card information for an authorization and have not charged my account as yet.
The whole call took about 25 minutes and it was a great experience.
That's cool, but you could have just added your experience to the other thread about return experiences...

I just found a dead pixel on my N1. I downloaded Dead Pixel Detect from the Market and its there!! What should i do? If I call will i be without a phone or will they send me a replacement and then once I receive it. I can get send the defective unit. Thanks
I noticed when i took my nexus out of standby last night..Only on the unlock button it looked like some pixels were stuck or something they were bright red, it was in a straight line going down.
Once i swiped to unlock they went away and haven't come back...i hope this isn't a bad sigh.
Anyone experience this, or know from experience on other devices if stuck pixels become problematic or should i be OK?

Read any of the several other threads discussing warranty and returns man. Or just call HTC and they will answer it for you.

Note the part in the OP about leaving credit card information. That's for advanced replacement, where they take your cc info and send you the replacement right away. If you don't return the defective unit, your cc gets charged.

Sorry man - I didn't know there was a thread already active - I just added my experience for others here. I admit - I should have looked first.
what number do i call for receiving a replacement? i also have a dead/stuck pixel.
http://www.htc.com/www/support/nexusone/
Man.. One dead pixel(stuck green) in the center of the screen. Drives me crazy.. HTC shipped out a replacement with no issues. Maybe this thread can help us identify how big of a problem this might be.
just received my replacement phone this morning with a return box and label.
how is the replacement? Does it look new or refurbished? anything wrong with it?

Without a doubt brand new.
I just got my replacement today, there is a black spot about 2 pixels wide either in the glass or underneath it. Not a happy camper. Called HTC and they said that the IMEI on my replacement phone isn't in the system. So it'll be a few days before I can even get the "swap my swap" ball rolling
Just bought a new Defy+ last month and today suddenly a dead/stuck pixel has popped up on the screen . It's just one single pixel. Tried some apps available in market, didn't fix it.
Will this be covered in warranty in India?
sure bro it will be covered..show them the case and i hope they replace the phone.. be kind to them at first but if they don't ... bump them up lol
i don't know how it's managed in India, but there are some rules about LCD screens which tell how many dead pixels are acceptable on some surface. You should first get to know about the rules before sending your phone to the OP, because if there are some, you just lose time waiting for your phone without having it fixed...
Thanks. I've emailed this query to Motorola India. Hope their reply would be positive.
Emailing motorola and that to india is of no use..better go to a nearby service centre and tell them your problem..emailing will get u nothing..
Hey,
Do let us know of any update. I also noticed a dead pixel in the extreme right top corner of screen after the first water test, 1 week after I bought the phone! However, it dissapeared before i could visit the service center! Anyways my phone is now already in service center waiting for its casing to be changed.
I have submitted the phone at Motorola Service Center yesterday. They said it will be fixed, but it will take 10 - 15 days to get it back.
I've got the phone repaired. They've changed the display panel. Problem sorted out!

My S7 Edge was delivered on the 7th, no problems until today when I noticed in the bottom left corner there seems to a be a dead/stuck pixel, most notable on white screens. This happens on all apps, and even in download mode so I assume it is a problem with the actual screen. Looking around, it seems that at least one person has had a similar problem on YouTube.
Would it be recommended to exchange the phone?

I would return it for a replacement.
You can try stuck pixel fixing apps like https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.htc.chris.blackspotdetect&hl=en
They will rotate through all the colors on max brightness in an attempt to kickstart the pixel into working.
Sometimes they actually do work, sometimes........
i would return the phone if i were you
Yep - RMA case, this issue falls under warranty
It looks more like a bit of glue/sealant that has been squeezed out under the glass.
That's not a dead pixel. There is something under the screen, or possibly a tiny crack at the very bottom.
I would definately exchange that.
Thanks for the replies - I'll be seeing if Carphone Warehouse is willing to issue a replacement.

Yes I did, returned to Carphone Warehouse after they did some 'diagnostics' on it - basically same thing as those dead pixel testers on the play store.

I think you'll be able to exchange under warranty even after - I believe the 14 day period usually applies if you are just unhappy with the device in general
Requested a return this afternoon, accepted, and a return shipping label was sent an hour later... so far so smooth from 232tech
Told them to send me whatever color they have in stock

Mine looks exactly like yours. Mine is 3 of them like that. It's where the time and battery is displayed, at first i thought it was cut out for sensors. But after looking at other s7 edges no one else's was like mine. I'm going to exchange it. It bothers me a little. I thought about not exchanging it cause of having to set my phone up again. If it was just 1 little one I'd just deal but it's 3 of them. I tried the dead pixel apps, but now I'm reading it's not dead pixels it's something else.
Thought id create a seperate thread for those who have/ are awaiting a return.
Im waiting for a swap through Amazon due to overheating temp issues as outlined here:
https://forums.oneplus.com/threads/...ad-oneplus-8-pro.1215356/page-3#post-21534037
Amazon currently out of stock, will keep an eye, for those always in same situation we can let each other know when its back in stock.
This is my first OP devie coming from about 10 years of Samsung, HTC and LG , if my replacement has screen or heating issues then sadly the OP experiment will be over.
I'm still waiting for Amazon to get stock for a replacement if it goes past this week though I may just send back for a refund.

Worst case scenario is to just refund though them and purcha through OP when in stock, but i imagine both will come in stock at same time.
I wont buy a 3rd one though, so if my replacement has issues ill go back to my S8 (luckily hadnt sold)
I only used my Oneplus8Pro for about 12 hours then put it back in box. Dont want to risk damaging it before sending back etc.

I've just got off chat with Amazon after my Black 128gb oneplus 8 pro was showing similar screen issue's at night like others have mentioned. The whole green and red/pink when changing brightness up and down, the black bar across top from front camra and this weird black blur on edges of phone when on lowest brightness and pulling down notification bar. I even noticed some image retention were the slider for brightness would be lol anyways the replacement is getting sent tomorrow via hermes and they will be collecting old one too at some point. I just hope the replacement has no issue's. Really wanted to like this phone but if 2nd is the same then will return for a refund and either look elsewhere or just wait until Oneplus actually sort the issue's out.

When any of you receive your replacements could you please comment if you notice any issues (particularly regarding the screen) and if so / not, when was the manufacture date is?
Wishing you all an easy returns process, I'll likely be attempting this shortly - I find it increasingly hard to see how an OTA will solve the screen issues.
Just had my Phone picked up to return. All I saw I had to do was print a label and receipt. Attach label to box and get receipt signed. But the UPS guy said about some type of invoice but I did not see anything about printing that off in instructions?
Has any one else sent back this way. Thanks
I just made 2 copies, I attached one, and signed the other one with the driver. Mine got to Poland from the UK in less than 24 hours, but made the mistake to send it on Thursday, so I'll get it back only on Tuesday hopefully as it's just passed inspection. Always send in Monday to get it back the same week.

I'm returning a 128GB Black 1 missus decided she didnt like it and wants green. She used it for like 12 hours until my green turned up. So didnt check hers for any problems.
My Green 1 though will be going back to Amazon when they have stock as I have crushing and green tinting plus the dark band from the top of the screen across the camera.
If my next device will have problems, I'll go for Amazon because it's way quicker

Just arrived mail from DHL. Replacement will arrive on Thursday.
I just did a warranty replacement, they send you a replacement while your original device is being fixed. Once it's fixed they send it back and you have to return the replacement devices.
Is this what you guys are doing?
Nope. And I don't want to get a replacement temporarily. I don't want the original device to be fixed.
This device was faulty, got returned almost instantly to I want a brand new, good device, not a fixed one.
It had an IP rating, that goes with opening the device. If you have your screen replaced, the IP rating is not valid anymore.
