Dear members
I am using note 2 7100
And recently I have rooted the same and installed philz 5.5. Then on my mobile getting heated up around camera area within 5 to 10 minutes of usage also battery getting drained so early. Kindly help me with suggestions. If problem can't be solved kindly help how to unroot.

Yup im also have this problem on kitkat 4.4.2. But no heating.. Just the battery drain faster than ussual

The touch problem in chrome (where the touch and the actual registering area was different) seems to be fixed now.

Two questions:
1) I have rooted my Note8, I guess I cannot upgrade the usual way thu ODIN or yes?
2) Can I use a alternative country rom to flash my Belgian Note8, France perhaps?
When referring to "WiFi" it means wifi only, so I cannot use it to flash my Note with 3G I guess...

1 You can update with odin. No problem. Then use Cf-autoroot to root again.
2 This ROM is for Germany zone. But no problem using it in Romania.
And this ROM is for Note 8 wifi+3G

hey guys,
I know that the S4 has a lot of bugs and problems. i had a damaged battery before a month and already replaced to a new one. but now i have other problems.. when i enter to the camera or gallery or browser trough 3G/2G my phone freezes and wont turn on unless i take out the battery and return.
tried to upgrade to the newest build of 4.3 and a few older builds of 4.3 but same thing, none helps.
Did u experience it in 4.2.2???

Thanks for advice. now i will test 4.2.2 and i will inform you.
hi, i rooted my note 3 and then eventually switched to custom rom. All worked fine. then i decided to update to a newer version of the custom rom and my...anyway long story short...my note keeps on restarting after a strong minute, various fc's and my mobile network doesnt turn on? anyone had this problem? i tried wiping everything and installing an official rom via odin but nothing seems to fix it. appreciate any help! tried giving it back to samsung but as guarantee is void they wil only fix it for 400 euros - no way i will pay that. thanks

I updated to this firmware a couple of days ago, since this version is March build and whenever I update I always do a factory reset and wipe cache. But I think this must be a system problem :-S
Same problem here, since the update with 4.4.2 ITV firmware in Odin my battery life sucks because of Android System (19% today) and Android OS (12%). I was unable to find any indication on how to fix this anywhere. :crying:
However those two are preventing the phone getting into deep sleep mode!
Any solution guys?

Your drainage is about the apps running in background (bloatware) and the brightness screen. Disable system apps through Settings - More - Application Manager - Tab ALL and disable apps that u installed (You can use Greenify app for it) :highfive:

Yes, I got the same issue. it is a bit warmer than in Kit-Kat.
