Hi!
Got my N9005 with MJ7, so I went and rooted with cf auto-root.
As I'm on 4.3 stock, what are my options for upgrading?
What are the implications of the new 4.4.2 bootloader ?

I can live with that as I like the s-pen features.
Should I just flash any firmware?
I see on sammobile there isn't yet a Croatian rom with 4.4.2.
Should I just flash another one if so how to choose and what is the best way to flash?
Will my root survive or will I have to re-root?
Thanks!
Mine didn't survive and now I can't re root for some reason

horse for courses really yes
i agree ,if you have no problems with your version your running now then dont update,i had no problems, but im in that group of people that need to update to the latest softwares
4.3 was good enough for me really, but i can not help myself
stay on 4.3 untill you read more about kitkat
That is good but what about battery drain
And sensor and motion works
The big problem if I update there is no way to back to 4.3

Thats why i actually updated to cm11. Which is still kitkat but also works on the old bootloader. Means you can always go back to stock 4.3. You will lose all available spen features tho and all Samsung stuff . If you're not scared of knoxing your device that is.

You can also search for 4.3 ROMs and update them over OTA or Kies after flash.

Sorry, my fault, that just works for 4.3 to 4.2.2.
Are you able to boot in download mode?
If you can you are able to emergency recover your phone with kies.

hello everyone,
yesterday I flashed the x-note rom on my note 3 and for some reason it got stuck in a boot loop so I flashed the official uk 4.4 rom and when it booted up I found out that my phone was absolutely no sound and as a result I cannot receive or make calls. I also tried flashing the volume boost mod and it didn't work.
help me please.
I'm desperate.

any other ideas?
Are you using an Nordic/Scandinavian variant? - if so, flash back to stock. There is some issues with them particular variants and has been since 4.4.2. - Even if you aren't I'd go back to 100% stock to be 100% sure first to determine if it may be a hardware issue also.
i got a software update but i haven't read whats on it. anyone? ??? ??

Yes it's available on sammobile.com also, I think update is mainly for necessary kernel for lollipop & gear vr support.
