There have been a few occasions when I reflashed my device and restored the apps but for some strange reason, there were no shortcuts created. Is there an app I can use that will allow me to select multiple apps to create shortcuts for rather than going one-by-one and pressing to hold the icon and dragging it to the homepage?
Just post in Q&A......

If like me you have 5 plus screens, check out apps organiser, I think its great, I'm now down to 2 screens. Simply create labels to group apps by and place all apps in these groups meaning you are never further away from anything by 2 clicks! this also means less memory in use for your launcher.happy days, give it a whirl

how is this different from folders?
Err not tried folders

AFAIK, apps must be placed in android folders manually, and if you accidentally delete the folder, you have to do the same thing again. With apps organizer it's much easier with this so called labeling. Also, new apps go instantly under label "other apps".

I use folder organizer which is much the same thing. really handy!
Created shortcuts on my home pages to folders of apps. If I add apps through the menu to the folder the folders on the home screen don't refresh to reflect this?

Sorry. Thats not how it works. Folders will work independently. If you want to add apps to home screen then tap and hold the app in the app drawer and the release on the home screen folder

So when I setup my phone I put all the apps in the app drawer in various folders. I then put these folders on a home screen. I wasn't thinking. Now I want all the apps out of folders for easy alphabetical sorting and finding. Is there a way to unfolder them short of dragging each one out one at a time?

Figured it out. Drag the folder to "remove" in the edit screen.

As the title states, I cant see anyway to do it. I thought you should have been able to press and hold on the homescreen but no option there. I want to add a bookmark to my homescreen.

Longpress homescreen, choose widgets, pick bookmarks, choose the bookmark you want.
Thanks Devs. From my VZW G2.
Dam, how did I miss that!
