wifi direct FOLDER transfer between phone and tablet.

Hello everyone,
I have found many apps for transfering FILES but I have yet to find an app that allows me to transfer entire folders via wifi direct.
I race cars and run a data-logging app that allows me to go over each run, see where I sucked and where I did well. I start each event by creating an event name and the data logger stores all files pertaing to that event in its own file.
In between runs, I have a little time to analyze the runs and try to "find time" on the track.
I have been doing this on my phone but my wife just got me a galaxy tab3 10.1 so that I could see more data at once and read it all easier.
The 10.1 is indeed easier to read, but it's rather large. Rather than try and find a way to mount this beast in my car while I race, I would rather just run the app on my s4 and shoot the log folder to my tab for review.
The folders are not that big but the contain many small files that are named in a way that allows the app to pull all the data together in an easy to read interface.
Wifi availabilty is hit or miss from venue to venue so I don' want to depend on a router. I hope to connect the two devices vi wifi direct and send the event folder to my tab....then open the app, select the newly dowloaded event, and go from there.
If there is a free app that does this, that would be great, but I'm willing to pay for an app if I need to.
TIA.

Transfer ALL files from iPhone/Android to the Galaxy S6 Quickly.

A lot of people know about this, but just in case you don't here it is.
The short and sweet is this:
From iPhone:
1.a Download Smart Switch from the google play store onto the Galaxy S6
1.b Open app, select "import from iCloud" and enter your login info.
2.a If you have an OTG cable, plug your iPhone directly into your Galaxy S6.
2.b Open Smart Switch and import from iPhone instead.
From Android:
1. Download Smart Switch on both devices.
2. Open app and follow prompts.
Here's the video for it:

Android Beam Issues

So I've tried to beam several files to my 6p from other devices (LG Realm & LG G4), and the file transfer either fails or I get the message that the receiving device does not support beaming large files. That large file I speak of is just a picture. Googling Android beam shows directly on the Google Android wiki site that Android beam supports file transfer of almost any file and large files also so I'm lost. Can anyone confirm beaming to the Nexus 6p acting strange?
There is a definate size limit for Android beam. I find that any file 20MB or greater will fail to trasnsfer.

IOS notes to Galaxy s8/plus

Does anyone know how or where "notes" from IOS are transferred to the S8? I did the file transfer wizard on the s8 and it showed notes were transferred however when I look in Samsung notes there is nothing? Anywhere else I should be looking?

Copying files/folders on stock is horribly slower than ever!

Hello everyone
The last Android I owned was the S3 so please pardon my ignorance,
How can I copy multi gigabyte files with ease? Since MTP now appears to be gone, I only have Android Auto as an option whatever that means, besides transferring pictures only..
Thank you.
Are you copying files to/from your computer or a thumb drive?

I use an FTP server from the store and connect from my PC and it's pretty speedy at around 60-70 Mb/s here through Wi-Fi.
