Anyone else buy and have problems with it? I searched around after thinking I saw a complaint on it like I've got but couldn't find.
Basicly, I put it on started noticing the top was putting pressure onto the screen I think. THe touch screen got extremely laggy, unresponsivess, and just seemed to go crazy. I'm going to try sanding it down on the inside but I think that just sucks.
On top of that the phone fell out of the back/belt clip half one night and caused a nice freakin dent in my phone and allowed the battery to flip out almost down a sewer.
Anyone care to give me a positive review so I don't just throw this thing out?
Also - is it possible to buy a new physical case to replace a scratched/dented case? Not the body glove I mean the actual phone casing.

I have this case and had the same problem. I have read that many others have had it too. Honestly I dont know why a company would put out a product like this. They all should be recalled, however me being me decided to just fix it by Taking a dremel tool and shaving some of the inside part of the screen protector off, making it put less pressure on the screen. It fixed it immediately. The case does a great job in protecting the phone, just a major flaw that can be fixed if you have the time and tools. If you dont, ***** to the company and get your money back and try something else.

Yes I could see that the inside casing was a bit rough so sanding should stop the problem - but seriously that's a major issue.
Have you found that it holds the phone well though? Because I'm very upset that my phone fell out of it once already but maybe it was an error on my part and it wasn't secure enough...
I've never had the phone fall out of the body glove case.
i mangled my body glove case.
someone bumped into me and the phone fell out of the case AGAIN.
i ripped it to shreds and left it on the side of the road to rot into plastic hell.
i dont recommend this product.
I returned mine. I had the exact same issues (screen and phone falling out). It also didn't attach properly on the top left corner, it was always bowed out. I don't recommend it either.
Anyone got any else to share?

When all the way snapped on, mine pushed the top left corner so hard the entire screen would not respond to touch. Returned it.
My friend and i had the same issue. We just took it off messed around with it and put it back and it works fine, SOMETIMES it happens again but we just take it off and put it on.
Since there is not any other case that provides this type of protection we are keeping it. I rather my phone be safe than anything else.
I just ordered mine yesterday so I'm anxiously awaiting its arrival.
What exactly did you have to mod to get it to work? According to my readings, you just need to sand down the edges that connect with the screen right?
I may just buy the case and sand down what was mentioned. I like the design of the case..only one so far I really like.
I've been using one for about two weeks and am very happy with it. Had read about the screen pressure issue on other posts (searching helps folks), and scraped down the top corners before I put it on. Don't need a dremel tool or sandpaper. No problems, fits perfectly. The only warning is that it's a little dicey to take off once it's on -- it really fits snugly.
Yout're talking about the "sand texture" clip-on case, right? If so, yes, I bought the case too. The top cover was too tight and caused the screen issue people are mentioning. That was an easy fix by shaving down the edges that were pressing too hard (actually, I just cleaned off the coating from the plastic that was causing it... The bottom of the case however wouldn't fit at all. no matter what I tried, I couldn't get all of the clips to lock over the edges of the phone. I removed the felt lining and still had issues. I got around it by using thin double sided tape (for a temporary fix until I got a new case). I wouldn't trust the belt clip with the double stick tape though. I ordered the rubberized case on ebay and the fit is perfect. Just get that one. I sent an e-mail in to Body Glove and have had no response yet. We should all get our money back on these cases, or at least a redesigned bottom case that fits correctly. Right now it was just a complete waste of money. It's a shame, because I really liked the feel of the case.

That is the one I ordered, and the fit is perfect. The only thing I wish it had was the belt clip insert for the case included. I don't know where to find one, but I mostly keep it in my pocket anyway.
you guys want a good case that protects? check out the monaco aluminum case, it comes with a clear lens on it which I haven't removed but you could if you wanted quick access to the touchscreen. I work in the construction field and have yet to have it fall off my clip. I also dropped my tilt (when I used it) from about 8" off a ladder and it was perfectly fine. The aluminum case for the fuze isn't any more bulky than the body glove case either.

I've got one of these as well...and while it does protect the phone very well it will also lower your signal strength. I've had these type cases for the Wizard and Tilt and now the Fuze...whenever I'm in an area where the signal was a little iffy to begin with I WILL either drop the call or be unable to answer with the metal case. So, stay away from the aluminum ones if you go into lower coverage areas (and no...the slots they cut in the back to help improve the signal don't actually help.)
I'm using my SGS for almost a month now and there're appearing strange spots on the screen. I have absolutely no idea what it is and what's causing it. Has anyone seen something like this before?

Never before.. the screen is totally off? What do you use to clean the screen? Do you feel the same touching the bright area and the opaque area?
Silly question maybe but has it got a screen protector on it?
Is it very humid where you are? Looks like moisture under the screen.
Take it to Samsung, maybe it's some kind of defect that's allowing moisture in.
There's no screenprotector on it. When it just appeared I couldn't feel the spots, now I can by moving my finger over them. They look like tiny scratches caused by sand but I always carry my phone in my pocket so that's just impossible.
At the photo the screen is totally turned off. I don't use any chemicals to clean the screen.

No idea.. I'm using screen protector until I got it out the box. By the way I always carry it in my pants pocket, and normally I use jeans... but the protector looks fine.
The area does look like the usual place to touch the screen (normal keyboard usage at the bottom of the screen and up/down scrolling in the middle). My only conclusion is either a defect screen or you've used it once without noticing you still had some chemicals on your skin.

My thought too, maybe it had pressure with someting when you had it in your pocket with something else that was in your pocket or something that pressed you leg/poket for outside

I never carry something in the same pocket a where I carry my phone in. As I move my finger over the screen I can slightly feel a bit of rough surface but when I clean my screen it's not visible while some other damaging is.
If it is in fact a damaged screen I wouldn't panic too much. There are tutorials online on how to repair damaged screens (as long as they're glass). You sand and polish the screen and it comes out as good as new. Although, for the SGS it would probably be best to remove the screen from the chasis first (they don't remove the screen as there is no bezel).
What games have you been playing? It look more like rubbing marks on several games that I can think off.
The damage is probably under the glass from excessive pressure over a pride of time.

The coating has come off the screen it looks like... something must have been on your hands that burnt it off.
It's almost impossible the damage has been caused by excessive pressure. Since a few days I can actually feel the spots as they are a bit more rough then the rest of the screen. If the coating has come of the screen, will it be accepted when I return it warranty?
I had exactly this but a bit smaller. I took it back to the store (Hi) and requested a repair. The first time i noted 2 errors for it:
- Screen screwed
- GPS fix doesnt work or takes long
So... what they did; they flashed 2.2 and sent it back as repaired (funny I downgraded it to 2.1 stock after running 2.2.1 for weeks for this repair...). The folks at Hi agreed it was bullsh*t and they sent it again with the notice they didn't repair the screen. After another week the online status page said they didn't find a defect. Hi called them before they sent it back to have another look at it, since I even provided pictures with a red circle around the spots I'm still confused how they could miss this (maybe only blind people work at Teleplan...?). Then a few days later i saw they replaced "front mea i9000". Since today i got it back with a brand new screen. So.. if anyone else has this problem: send it back for repair and provide the picture in this topic to be extra clear (I wish I saw this photo, otherwise I would have provided this one with it).
I have the same thing only a lot smaller...
I have a circle on my screen from my €2 currency. Its not a scratch but something weird...

did not you touch it accidentally with a "dirty" finger? (like isopropyl alcohol or adhesive remover etc) I had a similar damage on my HTC phone long time ago... I forgot to wash my hand before I picked up a call.
Looks like pressure damage. Had something similar with a htc touch. Looked like a oil like fluid within the screen. Amazingly the screen works still great. But the touch had a resistive screen, the sgs ones is capacitive. This in mind I don't know if it could be the same problem.

I love my Mini I own it for about a mouth.
My problem is the back cover that doesn't feel "solid", when I hold it on the hand and press the screen I feel the cover "creak" and flex.
Is this normal?
I don't remember feeling this at the beginning.

My back cover is loose also and it can be removed very easily (we are not alone - see this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=687326).
It seems that there are two versions of the cover because some people seem to have problems removing the back cover (see this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=674089).
My Mini makes some "crack" sounds too when I press the screen. But this is normal But indeed it is irritating sometimes
That's normal. I had my first unit with snug fit cover. Unfortunately, this unit is defective. So i had it replaced. Second unit has loose cover. With the creeking sound and all those stuff described above. But it works fine. Doesn't accidentally break open.
Now, after 3 months of use, the cover seems to be tighter now. Don't know why. Shrinking cover? Don't know.

This is indeed one irritating thing, it doesn't feel safe and even I didn't open the back cover to many times.
bart3385 experience of a tighter cover after 3 months is strange, maybe you get used to it .
Nevertheless I hope the same happens to me.
Its a shame that this kind of design fault affect the user experience of a such nice device.

Yep same here, back cover does sometimes make a little bit cracking noise when pushing the screen. Besides that i also have a narrow gap between the glass of the screen and the housing of the phone, but thats also nothing new for this phone .

btw, the inferior edge of my screen display stands a bit beyond the back cover, kinda protrudes (specially in the lower part of the display glass, next to the 5 capacitive buttons on the bottom). Is it just me or the same happens with u guys!?

It's possible the adhesives to the glass is a bit loose.
Try this. Remove back cover. Then press the glass edges to the phone body firmly. Then reinstall the cover. This should eliminate the protrusion.

Yes.. guess this was the problem.
I did it and it really corrected the protrusion, but it got back in a minute
What can I do to solve this!? Its really related to the adhesives. I can see them under the glass (kind of a glue).

Yes if you are facing the screen toward you in your right hand it will do that. For some reason the left side seems to be a little loose. If you hold in your left hand it is not that noticable. I fixed mine with a torche and patience.

I was wondering if its safe to use the phone without a case. I kind of like its design but i am rather afraid that the camera will break because it stands out way too much.
I already have a case,temp glass for screen and camera applied but i have started disliking my cases so far.
My question to you all is, do you really use a cover case to protect the camera or is it safe to take it off?
With cover is the best way, my phone have a scratch on top of the edge just hitting a furniture with a case on it
It's way too slippery to use without a case. I use it without a case a lot and have already dented the corner from a drop.

I like the design and feel of the phone too, but I use a case just to protect the camera. Even with the case that came with the phone, the camera was scratched up because the case is too thin. I now use a different case that's slightly thicker.
Sadly same thoughts, its too much of a risk. I had it one day without a case and its too risky, if only camera didnt stand out that much.
Back to flip case.
I work in construction and never use cases with any of my phones. I just hate the looks and added bulk. I already dropped mine quite a few times, even from head height, still working fine lol. Its just the same as with any other phone. Its neither more nor less slippery, and since its made from metal you wont get breaks in the body, worst case scenario a dent. I dont see this phone having any resell value after few years, and since it cost so little, i prefer enjoying how good it feels in hand and how slim it is rather than making it ugly and fat like oukitel or some other ****ty cheap chinese phone. Last time i used a case it actually made damage instead of protecting the phone. Small particles of dust got inside case and scratched whole backside of my nexus 6p, never again. And whats with the camera lens concerns? it has a small lip, so it should be enough to protect against flat surfaces, and no case gonna protect against other damage, like keys or stuff.

I'm a mechanic. Might be part of it.
When I was in a phone call, the earpiece suddenly became very fuzzy like there was a hardware issue. I have had the phone 4 days and this suddenly just started, or I just discovered it. During my troubleshooting, I noticed it was the way I was holding the phone. I was holding the phone with my pointer finger near the power button and by just applying light pressure, it caused severe interference with the earpiece speaker. I could actually feel the bass and vibration from the ear piece through the back of the phone.
Sadly, as happy as I am with the phone, this could be a deal breaker of this is a total design flaw. Can anyone else confirm this issue? Basically press with your pointer finger around the power button and see if it causes interference with the ear piece. Feedback would be appreciated.

Seems to be caused by, or made worse at least, by wireless charging. My initial guess is the magnet in charger is screwing up the earpiece.

OK, exchanged my phone for another G6 and I'm having the EXACT same issue. When I'm on a call and there is the slightest pressure applied around the power button, the earpiece sound becomes extremely distorted. Having a cheap plastic case on it causes distortion, too.
Can anyone else confirm theirs does this, too? Make a call (voicemail or something) and while listening apply slight to moderate pressure various pressure points around phone.
I highly doubt I received two duds in a row.

My G6 also started acting up like that also a few days ago. The earpiece while on call was distorted when I press my finger at the back panel. The distortion doesn't happen when I hold the phone by the sides. Did you get to fix yours?

I have a camera lens protector from Nillkin. I have a Spigen Thin Fit case. However, I also have a DBrand-like skin at the back. I found the problem. I think the skin added thickness while combined with the case. When I removed the case, the distortion disappeared even if I press the back. So in the end, I just removed the skin. No distortion even with a case.
I still think the back plate of G6 was poorly made. It shouldn't be like that even if the phone is kinda squeezed.

So after experiencing just this, I did a little investigation. It would turn out the plastic causes interference with the speaker. The technology used is interesting, because the "speaker" for the earpiece is not directly behind the screen on the front of the phone. The speaker is actually behind the camera. The phone channels the sound internally towards the earpiece. The plastic causes vibrational echoes which disrupt this "channeling" or redirection of the sound from the speaker to the earpiece. The case is not the culprit, it is the plastic over the area of the camera. The case merely causes enough pressure to initiate the disruption.

Damn. That's crazy man. But I still have the camera lens protector on. I didn't remove it. The disruption is gone though. Did you have any screen protector for the camera lens? Do you still have the earpiece distortion?
Having the piece over the camera only didn't cause issues, but any piece over the glass back of the phone did.

Yesterday I applied dbrand skin on my phone and noticed the same issue. If the back panel is pressed while on a phone call the ear speaker is crackling.
It doesn't matter if the call volume is high or low and it doesn't matter where I press the back panel. It seems to be in random places, like closer to the bottom of the phone or the power button.
While this is not a big deal, it gets very annoying when you are on the call and place the phone between your ear and shoulder to make both hands free. At that time even a little pressure from your shoulder causes massive sound distortion.

Certain cases you use on the G6 will make the ear piece speaker sound like a buzzing bee. I can attest to this owning three of these phones. As one of the cases I bought will make which ever phone I move it to would make it sound like a bee. BZZZZZZ.
The one one particular has a soft rubber inside and has a hard shell outside that slips over the inner piece and then squeeze's
the the sides of the phone to hold on. When I switched case or removed buzz went away. So it has something to do with either too much pressure on the back of the phone, or is blocking something else. Not sure but just by sliding back the hard outer shell it went away. Hope this helps. Its probably not the phone. Thought I would re-edit after making some new observations with my G6's The phone earpiece will definately start buzzing if you apply pressure to back of phone just below the power button any where from 1/2 inc down. Let up and it will go away.
ohh thanks daredevil i'm not alone... My speaker start this issue few days ago(After water cleaning)buzzing like heaven fart... My first idea--: water kill but i read this topic not 100 water damage..
I couldn't stand that buzzing bee/crackling sound with my phone, so I sent it on warranty. They replaced earpiece speaker along with inner back cover (the one where wireless charging part is located in US models - mine doesn't have wireless charging). I got the phone, tested and.... damn that crackling sound is still there... So I sent the phone next day back to the service. Got it today and to my surprise the buzzing sound is gone. Even if I put pressure on the various parts of the back panel, including the area underneath the POWER button, there is no crackling sound.
Funny thing is that, engineers in the LG service couldn't reproduce the issue the second time phone landed on their desk.
This means the fix in my case is the mystery.

I had one on mine I had cut it out of an old protector. One piece covering camera and lenses. Phone was buzzing on earspeaker.
I cut it in half and left open the part so that the flash is not covered. Works better now.
I had the same problem with my phone. Whenever I had my hands full and I tried to hold my phone with my had and talk the sound would get distorted. I sent mine in for the repair, when I got it back it was partially repaired. I could still hear the distortion, but it wasn't as bad and more pressure was necessary to cause it.
