I am using the s5 message app I replaced the MMS.apk in the priv/app folder and the app works great on my VZW note 3, but it won't send pictures. I can receive them. It says invalid destination and failed. Anyone have this fully functioning? Or a fix? I shut WiFi off and turned on my mobile data and that didn't help either.

Is this working with the Galaxy Gear
I figured I would toss my 2 cents here that the attached SecMms.apk and SecTelephonyProvider.apk allow sending Mms while having Wifi enabled. They are the Official Verizon Galaxy S5 messaging and telephony apps. For me there's little to no delay on sending an Mms text like there was with the previous apps.

Replace SecMms.apk in /system/priv-app with what you downloaded and replace SecTelephony.apk in system/app with what you downloaded. Set the permissions accordingly and reboot.
I tried the S5 messaging app for a bit and when I switch the 2 files back to stock I had issues with the Phone app constantly stopping, the only way to fix it was to do a fresh install of the ROM again.
Will these work on 4.3 on Note 3?

I've tried it running on my Galaxy S4 with CM10.1 so I don't see why it wouldn't work on other phones just as a TV guide, as I said before only thing that doesn't work is the IR blaster.

Downloaded Gear Manager directly from Google Play, and everything works with the Gear just fine. From display control to syncing, data transferring, notifications etc... All apps within Gear App Store also available to download. Not too great selection just yet, but my hopes that the XDA community will introduce some new, cool stuff, once the Gear is widely available.
Cheers

It's been disabled on Verizon. Its a different version of the messaging app without spam filtering or the ability to send scheduled messages. which would be fine if Verizon's Messages+ could schedule sms but it cant. Scheduling was one of my absolute favorite features on my s3 I used it every day since i have a few buddies on overnight shifts that i cant test during the day.
tried replacing the apk and odex and fixing permissions with the appropriate files from the international variant. Files were from this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2796268
Everything worked, including scheduling and spam senders but it blocked MMS from going through saying "invalid destination address"
tried again with the apk and odex from ATT variant, same result.
Anyone have any ideas? Doesnt anyone want this feature back? Coming from the Sprint forums to here is such a big change, theres no devs here.
Cant believe nobody else cares about these features? Is this in the wrong section? anyone know how to move this thread to the Q&A section?

haha THANK YOU. its ok you dont know how to do it I was just beginning to think there was no mod community on this forum at all.
honestly progress as far as modding this phone is slower than all my previous phones. Something small like this is going to be a difficult task to find on here. I'm sure eventually it will come up but it's going to take time.
Side note... I ditched stock messaging apps and went with GO SMS PRO. This way any phone I end up in the future will have the same messaging app I'm accustomed to.
anyone get a bearing on this?
Maybe you need to change something in the APN settings?
I've noticed on my phone that unless data is on, I can't send mms.
I switched to Textra which does everything you ask.
I hope some of these ideas help.
These are just some ideas, as you can tell I'm not using the same phone or the same carrier. (I'm using a Verizon HTC DROID DNA on AT&T)
