I am tired to find taking screenshot from my verizon samsung galaxy s5.. Where i can get it now?
Are you asking how to take a screen shot? Make a karate chop hand... Stance... And slide it across your screen from left to right
I am lacking a vocabulary right now.

I think it's easier to press the power button and home button at the same time.

I have found that the karate chop...shot... is easiest, except when it comes to taking Screenshots in Snapchat! Then I have to hold the screen on photo, and do home/power.

Tried that already, forgot to mention.
Also Power + Home, Vol + Home.
Nothing...
i'm surprised it's crazy dropdown bar full of shiz doesn't have a screenshot option....that's the one thing that could've been useful in there lol

Actually if you just save a quickmemo without scribbling something you get a screenshot.
Above poster is right... Its power + vol down and very awkward.

ah duh! good tip!!
right, taught of that.
But i've needed to take screenshot of the notifications and pressing the quickmemo/home slide exit the notification
bummer
I took a screenshot using Quick Memo and it DID include the notification bar. Did I understand the issue correctly?
I used the Home-button-drag (to the right).
Firstly, Mod if there is already a thread on this topic please move my post there.
I'm experiencing serious problems when trying to take a screenshot with the palm swipe. I had no problem whatsoever on my S III. I'm disabled & can't use the shortcut.
Ideas? TX

I find holding the power and the home button is more convenient for a screenshot, try that maybe?

Won't work for me as I have limited movement in my hands.

Is there anything blocking the sensor at the top? (Screen protector, case, etc)?

No. I have a Cimco TPU case (more like a sleeve) & it's not blocking the sensor.

I just tried the palm swipe and I realized I had to press on the screen with more force than on the S3 (I've tried both). Also I think air gesture has to be toggled on (as well as palm motion obviously )

Hmm. I'm pretty darn sure air gesture is toggled too but will check again. I'll also try pressing harder.

Just remembered to respond. Air Gesture was turned off. That said, I remember taking a few screenshots just after I got the phone & AG was definitely off. I also read a bit more about this feature. Supposedly you can hold a finger ~3" over the sensor & it'll activate. Not on my phone...

It's been my experience that I have to physically touch the screen in order for the screen wipe to take a screenshot. I've also found this feature somewhat unreliable as it sometimes moves the screen and then takes a shot of a screen that I have no interest in.

Exactly. I guess I'll see what Samsung has to say.

Hello fellow moders, I am wondering if anyone knows of a simpler way of taking a screen shot without having to swipe my Palm across the scree.
It would be nice if I could press the home button and power button to screen shot. Maybe screen shot in the power menu.
I appreciate any suggestions.
If you hold the power button and the physical home button at the same time for a couple seconds it will capture a screenshot

Worked thanks
Take spend out and hold the spen button while pressing on the screen.
Screen shot mentioned above with home button.
Palm swipe across the screen. Real easy.
My power menu has screen shot option. I'm using hyperdrive.

For some reason, the Palm swipe doesn't work on my phone. It didn't work with 4.3 and isn't working with 4.4 leak either. Any ideas?

Isn't THIS the Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting section? Anyway, I think I am just doing it wrong or something. I practiced a few more times. I just don't understand how to wipe the edge of my hand across the screen from left to right without it moving the screen. Hmmf!

But you should really be ashamed for not knowing even the inbuilt settings of the phone.
And do press the "Thanks" button for him.

Night shot is cool.
