was it stated he wont support it ? many threads out there that it does work on the s5 but it causes s health to crash I have posted my logcat files and some users say they have it working on different kernals ect.
can install it no problem but when you install the framework that's when it starts to act up.

S Health and Privacy mode both do not work while running Xposed. If you disable Xposed, they then work fine.
W8 bell s5 here. From what I've experienced is that s-health with knox installed will stop working if xposed framework is installed at the same time. In order to get around s-health not working with xposed you have to find a rom that has knox completely removed. Omega seems to be one rom that works great with xposed and s-health!
Runing echoe rom here now working fine 100%

Xposed
Tested and confirmed working with balliboxer's GENNXT ROM (4.2.2) :
1. Wanam Xposed (for 4.2+ Touchwiz based ROMs)
2. XBlast Tools (for 4.0+)
Both have ton of modification options and tweaks and are regularly updated.
P.S. : Since both are customizing mods for several features, changing same features through both makes them misbehave (obviously )
For example : if you're making notification transparent with Wanam and adding a background to notification with transparency with XBlast, only one of them would work (could be either)
Solution : Use only one mod to modify a specific feature
Greenify Xposed module (dontation version)
Works properly

I know that. Firstly I tried with wanam, and it was not working. So I tried that module and this one is also not working. Whenever I use it, record call button comes, but when call recording starts, I can't hear anything. So I am not using it. Is it working perfectly for you?

I gave it a try this morning, didn't work for me either, both sides got muted when I pressed the record button
This is going off topic, but I tried recording from an app from Play Store :

You lost root access most likely from the upgrade you did. Look for superuser app and if you don't have it then use towelroot to root your device then install superuser. Also DONT start these threads in development which this is clearly not. This would be considered Q&A.
MODs please move/close this thread.

As posters above have already suggested, you lost root because you accepted an upgrade. Now you need to re-root your phone. You can either update SuperSu or look for a Towel root guide thread.
And please use full sentences next time. This is a forum, not a SMS message.

Hello, my first post here, so be nice to me!
I'm also wondering about it as well. I've got it, and with 6.0.1 Marshmellow MMB29P, and are wondering if you guys would recommend the 2.7 experimental1, or the 2.6.1? A friend of me rooted the phone for me, but i want to have xposed for customizing. I've now got Nexus Root Toolkit, so it should be a Piece of cake to fix it.
Sorry for my english, i really suck at english gramma.
So I flashed Xposed from the one you guys recommended. I don't see it on my phone? Is it under settings menu or an app?

I would recommend you look at these and see if any the modules here is useful for you: makeuseof[DOT]com/tag/12-best-xposed-modules-customizing-android-6-0-marshmallow
The most neat feature i've found by now is Battery Home Icon, GravityBox [KK], Xposed GEL Settings (MUST have if you want to customize the default luncher) and XPrivacy.
XPrivacy i'll have to read me up on how works and how to use it correct, it is a powerful tool to control witch app can do what.

U don't have you screen set to compact mode by any chance? As I believe u can't add cards in that mode.
Do you mean "condensed" display scaling? I'm in that mode, and adding a card was fine.

Works for me, but there's a twist:
No more chainfire SuperSu, you must use a different root method: phh's Superuser (more info here) and, if you use Xposed, a systemless Xposed installation.
To use Android Pay, your root access is temporarly disabled (5 minutes by default), and re-enable itself automatically.
Rooted here, with condensed display, android pay is working fine

I've recently got the G930FD, updated to the latest Nougat, unlocked the btl, flashed twrp, rooted (SuperSU), and, to my surprise, Android pay... works!!!
My only explanation to this, is maybe, just maybe, an S7 got a hardware trust zone with Google making an exception in this case. I'd be glad if this is, indeed, the case.
Notes:
* Android pay didn't work on my previous rooted phone (LG G4, H815).
* I did absolutely nothing special whatsoever.
* System partition is close to, but noy 100% stock.
* Bootloader unlocked.
* Custom recovery present.
* Evrything above trips SafetyNet (tested).
Works for me too on my S7 Edge. Using 6.0.1 with systemless root/Magisk, although I'm pretty sure I added my first card to AP before I rooted. However since then, I have added/deleted other cards from AP without a problem.

Rooted on att using the sprint method...i have tried to install xposed but the framework will not install via the app and we do not have custom recovery...how did you achieve this? The tab to install the framework via the app is greyed out.

same exact thing happened to many other users. care to publish the correct method here in the thread, thanks
Download xposed-v86.0-sdk23-arm64-custom-build-by-wanam-201
Download flashfire
Open flashfire, Grant permissions with SU.
Click the plus and navigate to xposed-v86.0-sdk23-arm64-custom-build-by-wanam-201 on your sd card.
I had everything unchecked the time it worked for me. Push flash and wait.
When android boots back up to homescreen
Download xposed installer 3.04 alpha and download from there Wanam or xtouchwiz or w.e other modules you want. I've tested a few and the ones I've installed are all working.
