How to use Note you needs device rooted.
1. Download latest Xposed framework 'XposedInstaller.apk' from this original thread post #1 for any query/support regarding framework post here
2.Install downloaded apk
3.open installed application and select install/update
4.Reboot device.
Now get your required modules Apk from below mentioned link and install it

Y.Icon themer : You can now use *any* launcher you prefer and still have the power to customize how your application icons look like. Icon Themer is also more consistent because the icon theme is applied throughout your device and not just confined your launcher!
Z.xQuick Setting : - allows you to select a theme or customize the colors of various parts of the toggles including background, text color and transparency without reboot (only a SystemUI restart).
Download modules you need from link given you above and install
You will see notification regarding xposed framework not active, tap on notification and select module from list.
-Reboot device.
Done !

If you are getting error as shown in image below, your module is incompatible with framework and you need to update one to latest.

How far does this embeds itself in the ROM? In other words - if we decide to uninstall it would be there any problems?
Other than that - amazing work

Just unselect module (see in picture 2) and uninstall apk, thats it.

There is also a multi window hack using xposed framework.

I installed it on my Note running stock LSZ and it works flawlessly.

TW launcher stock is not modified to work under dpi of less than 213 I guess. So it will not work. You need to used a nodded TW launcher or any other launcher from the play store like apex or nova

I have no problem with launcher....n I'm even not using TW launcher.....its SystemUI itself which force closes.
I also tried to set SystemUI DPI to 213 and applied TabletUI trigger in modules but it still FCs.

I have never used tablet ui, but I think it can be done with android system
Though I am not sure, there is thread in applications and theme section of note2 for this module only, which may useful to you.

Parsing error
Hey doc i tried installing the multi window as well as the 5x4 apk, but it doesnt install, keeps saying parsing error, is there something wrong im doin??

the title says it was prepared for 9070P so you have to replace contents of /system/lib/tee folder from 9070 ROM

I'm glad I'm not the only one facing this issue.
For the rest, can you please make the statusbar transparant?
I think that a PA base would be better with this KitKat thingy. But your choice.

Good:-
No bugs yet.
In call volume is working.
Camera and camcoder working
Fast and smooth(just a little jerky when opening app drawer)
No restarts or force closes.
Battery seems to work good(havnt tested properly) but it seems to have a good life.
Not so good :-
No transparent status bar of kitkat.
Cannot control the vibration while typing on keyboard.
Apollo sucks (well for me)
No ringtones of kitkat.
File manager cannot read my sd card. (Root browser is all the way)

Make sure you have installed Q700i firmware already. details on installing Q700i fw

Reboot into recovery

This is good
I had problem with proximity censor, while call.
Display goes off, and don't comes back on.
I have Q700i, bought 5 day back.
and proximity sensor is not working in any other ROM than its default rom.
help
Tried ROM- Pure Xperia Final, X-Mi, Miui V5, Xperia QHD Final
& In this ROM NWV2, air gesture is also not working, move hand in any direction, takes as to go right.
this too because of proximity sensor I believe.

Don't know because proximity sensor works fine in all the ROM above. and yes airgesture works like that only.

no multiwindow and i removed sidebar because lots of guys told me to remove that, you can download a better sidebar app from playstore.

gravity box is not working properly in NoteWiz V2 rom...please look into it... thanks.

is there any solution to make Gravity box working in this rom? Even other xposed framework modules not working in this rom, I have tried Xui Mod but no success. Also time on Accu Weather widget is not matching with the time of phone. Thanks.

@drdogautam I am using Xtheme Engine, gravitybox, iconthemer with xposed in this rom. no problem here. only statusbar customisation doesn't work in gravitybox. Try to install latest xposed installer again.

[Q] Replace SystemUI to get rid of S5 quick settings

I hate the quick settings in the notification panel of my Galaxy S5.
I'd like to disable it. I've searched for an Xposed module to do the work, but the closes I got was a "Xposed G-Touchwiz" tha helped me to hide the S-finder and Quick Connect buttons.
So I was wondering... Is it possible (or will it work if) to replace the SystemUI.apk with a version from, let say, CM? I'm not sure what else the SystemUI do, but I've crazy seen people replacing it to get the S5 quick settings buttons.
I would appreciate if anyone knows how to get rid of the quick settings in notification shade of the stock Galaxy S5.

It won't work with a cm systemui.apk. will most likely give you a ton of force closes. There are many custom Roms though with it either turned off or the option of turning the bar off. Just pull the systemui.apk from these Roms and replace yours.

I've replaced the SystemUI,apk from the AOKP rom, but I'm missing something.
What I did:
In folder /system/priv-app
Renamed SystemUI.apk to SystemUI.apk.old
Renamed SystemUI.apk to SystemUI.odex.old
Copy the new SystemUI.apk to the folder /system/priv-app
Changed permissions of the new file, so it match the permission of the original file (rw-r--r--).
Reboot
It didn't work. One time I got the same notification shade as if I haven't done anything. Other time the notification area was completely gone.
The problem, I think, is that I don't have the SystemUI.odex file, nor could I find it on the AOKP rom.
Can you please enlighten me?

How did you get that? Share with us, please!

Its an option in my rom. The aim of the rom is to make people realise that they dont HAVE to use xposed. There are still people doing things the old way and modding the base files. The one in the screenshot is part of Kitkat style and you can switch to it or a whole bunch of other styles in one click.
For example you could have S5 style but then turn toggles off....
And then maybe sfinder off....
Or have a carbon look with toggles at the bottom...
If you like to change stuff to suit your taste you should try it!

Hi! You just sold me your fish! (Its a Brazilian expression!)
I installed Alliance ROM and I'm pretty much satisfied. Nice work you've done!
But it would be nice to have those features on a Xposed module too.
One thing that I dind't realize how to do is how to get rid of the second page toggles (the page on notification shade that shows all the toggles). As a suggestion, it would be nice to have a way to hide some of those useless icons/toggles.

Just for future reference (for those who tried), do NOT attempt to use SystemUIs from other devices/roms especially on an odexed rom. Thats recipe for FC's and bootlooops.

Xposed happens to be my only option at the moment.

Goldie, I would love an allianceRom version for sprint! Until then, how did you do it? I tried pulling the systemui.apk but couldn't find an editable xml. Any pointer would be awesome.

Navbar Not working ??
Shukla bro, i downloaded the rom and itz amazing. blazing fast. better than previous touchwiz roms.
But I am not able to activate navbar using
1) Gravity box - enable navbar
2) editing build.prop - "adding qemu.hw.mainkeys=0" at the end
It causes System.UI apk force close repeatedly. cant operate the phone
both these methods or at least one worked in all the other roms but not in this
And i desperately need navbar cuz i havent used capacitive buttons from day 1 and so they have stopped working
My buttons wont work and just for that i dont wanna skip this rom..
Please rectify this bug bro. Thanks a lot for all ur contribution.

Pros : Good Cam, Thnx For Xperia Keyboard, Better TouchWiz Launcher, Feels Like S5..little Better Than NoteWiz v2
Cons : Gravitybox is Not Fully functional (Especially Statusbar Tweaks) ..Little Lags Sometimes but Not Much (Thnx to Seeders)..

Sir shukla, I'm usng lite rom by you. Its a good rom for daily usage, now waitin for a kitkat rom. Hope u r workin on it

Yup ! Just Turn off Multi Window From Quick Settings!

Its a themed version of Noteviz .Removed many apps to make it just simply Lite !

Bro. There is no real kitkat Rom for q700 present becoz of lack of full kernel sources . BTW there is kitkat themed alike rom present named as "Project Doge " by Bgos10 ,ported to q700 ! see xda thread of q700.

Wonderful ROM indeed, loved the simplicity. Here are few bugs noted:
1. Proximity sensor doesn't work. This was an issue with some Q700 devices in MIUI and was later fixed.
2. If you go to Setting > Display > Brightness, it crashes.

Superb best rom till now for q700
