Apologies if this is obvious to everyone here, but I haven't been able to google my way to a definite answer.
I've been looking at batteries, cases and chargers, and I can find lots of things marked compatible with the S4...but not for the S4+. Are all accessories interchangeable between different S4 models?
So...is a battery marked as compatible with the Samsung S4 (GT-i9500) also compatible with the Samsung S4+ (GT-i9506)?
I noticed at least two different model numbers (B600BUB and B600BE), but is there any difference between them?
Related to the battery question, I want to get a battery charger like the EB-K600BEW (sorry, can't link yet), but can't find one for S4+.
Lastly, will an S4+ fit in cases made for an S4?

It has come to my attention that there a a range of different covers for the S4, I do not mean colours or carrier printing but rather, some have no printing at the back and some have 'Galaxy S4' printing. Also the i9506 (4G) models vary from having the 4G print at the back to nothing at all.
Does anyone know why this is or whats going on?
On another note, has anyone ordered from TopBuy before? I purchased the i9506 from them, it is yet to arrive but I'm becoming anxious as to whether or not I will receive a genuine model. TopBuy claims that "All products offered by TopBuy are brand new in their original boxes. They are not used, display models, etc… The savings come from direct imported overseas stock at tax free prices" is this to believe?
Also, in the phones package contents they claim that "(Please note user manual may come as English version hardcopy or softcopy)" shouldn't this always be hardcopy? I've never heard of a softcopy included with the phone.
Hallo.
Just got my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 from an e-Bay trader. I think the dealer has a Chinese seat but the phone was shipped from England.
Please have a look at the photos. I also have a box of the original Polish version. It is in both cases the Exynos variant: SM-N910C.
The boxes are slightly different in the color of the printing: Polish ink is slightly darker than the new variant. On the back side of the package the dubious box has "WiFi Certified" instead of "HD Voice", which is labeled on the Polish box. Everything else is equal.
If the device is nominally a SM-N910C model, however it is sold for the Arabic market, can I assume that this device still is technically strictly equivalent to the variant for the European market never the less? Could it be that different or inferior components are used for different Markets? Does Samsung use different tolerances for different markets? Or is the device absolutely identical to the European variant?
Is there a way to check whether this device is an original Samsung Note 4 without opening the box?
Thanks for the hints!
You could watch a youtube video over the fake differences with the clones.
Just boot into download mood
take a look here, and fill out the IMEI nr

In which country is the Note 4 being produced? I know that the Polish Variant of the Model SM-N910C is produced in Vietnam. My Model is produced in China however. So is it a fake or is the Note 4 being produced in both countries? How does the SM-N910C from Vietnam differ from the SM-N910C from China? Are they technicaly identical? Is one country better" than the other? Are there different parts and tolerances being used?
Note 4's are being produced in vietnam and china....The ones being produced in china are not fake (in my country we get 910c which is made in china under official warranty). You can download an app called "phoneinfo" from playstore it will tell you whether you have a genuine samsung phone or not. The 910C being made in china and Vietnam are identical and have no difference.....no quality preference i have seen many phones from both countries. However this is my personal opinion and experience, a senior member may guide futhur on "different parts and tolerances" being used.
Dont worry about the box. In my country some people import brand new phones and ask the sellers to send phone and accessories only. They do this to avoid custom duty (which is levied on new phones only) so they pose as if they are importing a used phone. Then the use a locally made clone box to sell the phone.....the phone itself and the accessories are mostly original.
If the s-pen works while hovering above the screen then it's a real note 4.
If you turn it on, you will see right away the on the screen.
Replicas will never have SAMOLEDs and you will see right away the difference in colors and they are so obvious.
The Polish C-version, which is manufactured in Vietnam and no doubt original, has an internal memory of 24,65GB (according to Kies and Windows). The new Arabic C-version, which has been manufactured in China, has an internal memory of 24,57GB (again, according to Kies and Windows). Could this be a sign for a fake phone or are such minor differences and fluctuations normal and due to the manufactoring process?
CPU Z and Phone Info show absolutely identical hardware, only the internal memory is slightly smaller in the China-manufactured device. The China-version is slightly faster in the Antutu and Geekbench benchmarks however. So, can I now finally and definitly be SURE that the nev, China-made Note 4 is an original, genuine Samsung Galaxy Note 4 SM-N910C and is definitly NOT a fake ?
Hmm .. Could all you Note 4 owners write here which version you have, where it was manufactured and how big the internal memory is.
Many many thanks!
P.s.: Where is the N910F (Snapdragon-Version) being produced?

Yes, just instal free "Phone Info" from play store, we'll know it fake or not.
FYI: It's definitly original.. Best way to find out is the Antutu Officer..
Other possibility:
- (Samsung) Phone Info
- CPU-Z
- KIES

I have a dual Sim Samsung S8+ G955FD
I need to replace my USB charging port
do any of you guys know where I can get one for the G955FD?
and I live in UK by the way
hopefully you guys can help me out and thank you for your time for reading this.
I am wondering this as well, did you find a good one? I need it for my S8 G950F because the phone is not charging anymore and it is bad connection inside :\
I would consider either one of you buying a daughterboard for your phones and just replace it. Easiest way of fixing that problem.
You can buy a daughterboard/charging ports on eBay or ifixit (or many other sites, AliExpress, etradesupply...).
I think that the g950 version should fit both, the F and the FD as well as the the g950 should work in the g955
Worst case would be, you have to insert the old one and wasted 15-30$.

S8

S8+
https://ifixit.com/Store/Parts/Galaxy-S8-Charging-Daughter-Board/IF355-021-1
And for ebay, just search for Samsung Galaxy g95xxx (your version) charging port.
There should be some products that fit for you.
Sent from my Galaxy S8 using XDA Labs
all the active/dual sim/snapdragon models share the same hardware so you can find them just about anywhere. Order up a new glass back/adhesives as well because Ive yet to remove one without scratching some paint off of one..
Depending on how often and where you charge picking up a wireless charging station and just using that is also an option.
I'm looking to buy another battery for my S5 and I've always wondered what the differences are between the various S5 battery revisions -- I'm aware of the following ones:
EB-BG900BBC
EB-BG900BBE
EB-BG900BBU
EB-BG900BBZ
Is there a reason to favor buying one vs. another?

The different Galaxy S5 OEM battery Model #'s (ie... EB-BG900BBC, EB-BG900BBE, EB-BG900BBU, EB-BG900BBZ, etc...) is more of a type of "Samsung in-house #'s" just to determine the battery for a specific Galaxy S5 variant it was ordered/in stock for.
They all should share the same Spec's (ie.. 3.85v 2800mAh) and, as long as the OEM Battery Model # begins with "EB-BG900", then they all should compatible with all the "Samsung Galaxy S5 Variants".
The above information is ONLY regarding the specific "Samsung Galaxy S5 Variants" and does NOT (Necessarily) apply to ANY of the other Samsung Models.
I hope i had explained this okay via text...
Good Luck!

What do you guys think the best option is for S5 batteries? I tried buying some "OEM" ones off eBay a while back, and they were complete garbage (phone would suddenly shut off at 40% charge, etc). Are there even real Samsung batteries available these days, or are all the "OEM" ones I see for sale counterfeits? If so, are there aftermarket batteries you recommend?
There is no difference. The the last letter stands for which market the battery was intended. So e stands for Europe, a stand for Americas, u is for Asia. I purchase my batteries directly out of Asia where they are manufactured, bypassing American wholesalers, to get the freshest, newest batteries. So, I am less concerned with which market the battery is intended for, and more concerned with getting the latest manufacturing run.
Samsung Galaxy s5 display
I have a Samsung gAlexy s5. When it gets even a little cold. My display does not turn on. After warming it near my body. It works fine. Once it's on it works fine. I's it my display or my battery?
"U" for Asia is incorrect, at least for the "eb-bg900bbu" model, which was made for ATT in US. This I know, because I own it.

Maybe "U" is for U.S., and "A" for Asia.
What's the difference between Samsung Galaxy S5 SMG 900i and EB-BG900B SERIES?
What's the difference between Samsung Galaxy S5 SMG 900i and EB-BG900B SERIES?
Will EB series batteries are compatible with SMG SERIES? As I seen SMG has battery of 1500mAH whereas EB has 2800mAH.

That's screen flickering which is a well known factory defect with the S5.
Hello, I have an s8 sm-g950u that has a problem reading SIM and sd card. I have been researching for a fix but have about come to the conclusion I will need a new mother board. My main question is.. about which to choose. I am in the US and know the nootloader of this phone can't be unlocked. If I were to purchase a motherboard of an unlockable model would it work in this phone? What things would I have to be concerned With? Would it change.my imei and other identification numbers... would there be any other things needed to be done to make it work in my she'll? Would I have to replace any other parts? Knowing the motherboard would be shipped from Ali express, for around 100 bux, it would be used. Should I be concerned with That? Which would be the best motherboard to choose? The g950f I presume? Any and all advise would be excellent. Thank you xda
If it's like the Galaxy S7, you'll also need the G950F daughterboard that has the USB port on it. Also, I've read that the G950F uses Samsung camera modules and the G950U uses Sony camera modules, so your cameras may not work after the swap.
It might be easier just to find a G950F with a broken screen to buy.
Thank you for that info. I was not aware of either of those tips. I am hoping this thread gets bumped a bit with this reply. I am hoping for just a bit more info if possible.. Or even opinions on a new model that would be comparable to the s8.. maybe wider.. I have been reading on phones for days.. I had no idea there were so many to choose. Perhaps a Chinese variant with equal to better specs
