Hi All!
I'm new here, but here is my “RedFlat” Zooper Widget design. Maybe you'll like it.
The home screen widget include 7 parts, the lock screen include 3 parts and the slider. You can place theese items where you want, but I like as shown in the screenshot. This widgets use 5 x 7 grid system. If your device not support this grid system, you need to download and install a launcher application. My favorite is Nova Launcher (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.teslacoilsw.launcher)
The graphic icons on the header are static, but the numbers view the current values.
This is the Hungarian version, but you can easily change it to your language.
How can you install this design?
1. Download and install to your phone the Zooper Widget Pro: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.zooper.zwpro
2. Download and install to your phone the Widget Locker https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.teslacoilsw.widgetlocker
3. Download the following files and copy the appropriate folders.
Here is the black wood wallpaper, but my widget is transparent, so you can use your own wallpaper.

The missed events (call, sms, gmail) is indicated by a red line in the left side of the widget. If the battery capacity below 10%, you will see a red line above it.

2. red-weather-now.zw (grid: 1x1)
3. red-calendar.zw (grid: 3x3)
4. RedSlider.zip
Copy the ZW files to /ZooperWidget/Templates
Copy the RedSlider.zip to /data/com.teslacoilsw.widgetlocker/themes folder
Home Screen
If the battery capacity below 10%, you will see a red line above it and if the used RAM reaches 80%, then the RAM background will be red.

2. red-empty.zw (grid: 1x1)
3. red-ram-sd.zw (grid: 1x1)

I made this widget (but all widgets) with Zooper Widget Pro. This show the battery percent and temperature (on the left), the wifi signal strength and the connected wifi state name (center), the cell signal strendgth (in dBm) and the cell data connection type (on the right).
This is the "red-system.zw" if you need the file. (grid: 5x1)
Thank you! Also, I have just noticed the widgets being in Hungarian. Are you also, by any chance hungarian?

Sorry, I cant insert URL. I think, the admin deleted some of my messages.
So, the file is on the same place where all the other files (on dropbox), just replace the end of the URL tor this file name /flat-weather-icons.zip

Hi there,
i really like your lockscreen and will try and implement it on my nexus 5.
I have a question, i want my phone to be secure at all times, so on your lockscreen, when i slide the phone to unlock, will i be able to get a passcode/pattern unlock feature, before my phone unlocks?
thanks in advance!

I remember something in the android setting about that. Not in the lockscreen app, but in the Android setting. Sorry, I no longer that screens yet, so I can not test, but keeps your security (passcode/pattern) after or before my designed lockscreen.

Post your best created icons. 128 and 64 .png. Or taskbar icons. You may have swiped a great icon and modified it-as long as you created it, and you think it is great. Post it here. I will start by posting a few of mine.
I want to limit this thread to icons -no clocks, wallpapers, tweaks, etc. If you want you can post the modded manila file as well, but most of us probably already know how to do that.
Thanks
Jim
Here are some cool tabs-created
Lets go designers! updated 12-12-08
15 tabs
The calendar is from Dman-he coded it from scratch and it is very cool, with finger flip control. Someone was passing around call history files-but there was a flaw in the 2694 manila control file that did not allow the menu of text messaging to be selected. I fixed that.
1. Home
2. People
3. Call History
4. Text Mess
5. Email
6. Calandar Thanks Dman

Icons for tf3d
I will zip them to you
1. Go to menu/Preferences/Homescreen Settings/ and set "Number of screens" 7 and "Default screen" 4
2. Go to menu/Preferences/Appearance Settings/Dock background and set as custom:
3. Set the wallpaper (be carefull how you crop it!):
or fancy one:
4. Change the shortcut for app drawer (in the middle) icon in to the blank one:
appicon
The "icons" from the bottom of the wallpaper should change in the middle of a dock for each screen.
Enjoy
edit: PSD files with few more nice wallpapers.
Please post your work
Thanks mirok, i'll try it out!
psd files added..
So what is the process for getting custom icons onto the tablet and having them properly associated with their respective apps?
Say, I have a new Browser icon I want to use... what's the next step?
Can 'o' worms question, I know...
Personally I use folder organizer (from the market). It allows you to change an icon for a particular app or create a folder with several app in it. For example, a games folder with the icon of your choice will open a folder with whatever games you put in it (and can customize those icons as well)
Hope that helps.
Thanks Steve, I'll take a look at that now.
EDIT***
Okay, sorta works but a little too convoluted... You have to change each icon individually then add each app you've changed as a widget. I'm looking to do something more in the way of an icon pack that will swap out all the icons at once (of the ones I've made and apps supported).
I use Desktop Visualizer; however, this is also a 'one at a time' process.
I am not familiar with a process to change the icons 'en mass'.
This is a great thread for icon packs and there's some basic information on changing icons in the first post. It's possible though, that one of the icon developers listed in the thread will be able to answer your question.
Thanks for the info Franwella
I'll make my morning reading.
Sorry if this sounds stupid but how would I go about making a games folder for all my games. I'm on taboonay so the games have all been removed. If I use a widget would that take me to a location where all games are stored, not apps screen? I've been focusing so much on performance that I've only just got around to personalizing the tab after a month of use!

+2 for folder organizer lite. Once you make your folders and add in all your apps or links I then use the widget Desktop Visualizer to make my own icons.
If you use DV, add the widget and pick the size you want. Then when you see the green outline for the app on the screen choose other, folder organizer link and then pick your folder. It looks very clean with a variety of sizes for the icons. (Before setting it all up though- Just download a pick for your icon and choose it from the gallery when your setting up the widget, or you can just use organizer lites icons)

I'm using astro to view the zip file containing the icons i downloaded but i can't see the icon image when choosing. All have the same file image so it's a painin the arsegoing throughthem all. What am I doing wrong?
Did you unzip the files? Then you have to view the images so that the gallary is associated with them. Then when you set up the DV widget you choose the icon, just have to know where to find them. They don't have to be icons from icon packs though, you can use any small sized JPEG as well.

All sweet with the widgets, how can i just have widgets with icons and no text labelling the folder. Folder organizer won't let me have a link with image only. Is this possible?
The text sayin "games" kind of ruins the nice icon.

Hi everyone,
As a note 9 and Led view case user, i searced icons for my led view case.
I could not find much things so i create few icons by looking my needs.
(These drawings are for idea. These are not an app or any ready drawn icon.)
Here they are. If you need an idea for icon you can use them
Thank you for these icons bhdrsmh, I desperately wanted a much better Whatsapp one than the 'W' I had so I've managed to copy yours. Thank You for sharing
How to implement these with case
Nice thread! I also found this thread on Note 8:

I copied the discord and messenger icons
I saw that you made a WhatsApp icon. I was doing one myself before finding this thread.
