Sorry if this is a stupid question, but it's been bugging me -
Using stock LG Home app as a browser i noticed if you pinch inwards (zoom out) you can edit your homescreens, but if you pinch outwards (zoom in) it takes you to a secondary set of blank homescreens that you can scroll though. I dont seem to be able to add apps or anything to the secondary homescreens so i'm just wondering what the point of this feature is? what am i missing?
Actually the zoom in is not a secondary homescreen it's just so that you can view your wallpapers without all the apps/widgets in the way

I installed The pre rooted GB today and so far am liking it, but I want more icons on the home screen. Is there any way to change/edit the home screen or what is the best option to keep the features of GB home but have the capability of editing and personalizing.

here is a widget app that allows for more icons in a 1x1 space...

I think Launcher Pro allows for grid re sizing, though rotating the screen may make everything look "off"

not exactly the solution you had in mind i know but its the best i can come up with
for me i just use the app drawer and group apps accordingly...

You probably want to install an alternate launcher if I understood your need correctly.
Both ADW and LauncherPro allow resizing the home grid, so you can fit in more icons and customize the home screen in general.
I use ADW and it allows to set up the grid for portrait and landscape modes individually. Can't say for sure about LP, but it probably can do it too.
I have 2 questions that despite a lot of searching has not yielded anything, and I just want to find out if I need to stop looking:
1. I like to open the camera app when double-tapping the home button. I can't find any setting in CM9 that would allow me the same thing - am I missing this?
2. Is there a setting somewhere that would change the screen rotation delay? I type texts horizontal screen and the wait for the screen to respond and rotate after I turned the phone sideways, is annoying. It would be much nicer if the screen rotated immediately when I rotate the phone, synchronously. I notice in the CM9 camera app, this rotation is much snappier, so it seems possible.
I can suggest this on your first question. I use Apex Launcher, and it's configurable right in behavior settings.

Thanks, I also found that item after I installed Apex last night. In other android OS's, this is a setting which is independent of the launcher.
First things first, I'm not sure if this is a device issue, an app issue or an o/s issue, but has anyone else come across widgets that take up more room than their intended size?
For example, Cal Widget should be 4x2 (and is that on my sgs2), but actually requires 4x3 space (hopefully the screenshot has been attached). Likewise, the various foursquare widgets seem to be the same. I've also seen a few 4x1 widgets that take up 4x2 space with the actual graphics centred in between the grid lines. In all instances, the resize option doesn't seem to be available.
Has anyone else noticed this, and is there a setting somewhere that I've inadvertently selected to cause this?
(It shouldn't be an issue, other than my OCD about symmetrical homescreen layouts kicking in!)

Try with Nova / Apex and see what happens..
in nova there is a widget overlap option for scenarios like this. then you can long press the widget and if it is overlapping another widget or app.... you will have bring to front and send to back options
Thanks, tried Apex and it at least allowed me to resize the widgets.
I'll keep playing around to see if there's a non-launcher solution though.

I've been using Apex Launcher for 3-5 days now on my phone and Nexus 10, and had a question or two about the App Drawer, if anybody has an answer. For one, I was wondering if it was possible to create a shortcut or widget to a specific drawer tab?
Second, I was wondering if it was possible to make it scroll Vertically (continuous) within a tab, then a horizontal swipe switched to the next drawer tab? I have found no ways so far to do either one.

The lack of continuous vertical scroll is the one reason why I won't use Apex on my Tablet. I just switched to Nova.

Good morning,
I had since the beginning with my new phone this problem : Pictures won't rotate in my gallery view!
I have read forums and saw that it was a software issue related to those who are using NOVA launcher.
this solution for the S6 edge is working!
The fix I applied was super simple.
Previously, gallery did not rotate when launched from a folder on the nova home screen.
When I moved the shortcut out of a folder, to occupy just one spot on my home screen, it started to rotate.
Also, launching gallery from the app drawer always was able to rotate as well .
Put a shortcut again to Nova launcher and It works!
It's always nice to known!
Do you mean the rotation from portrait to landscape of a photo you are viewing?

Yes, That's what I mean.
If I started the Gallery from the icon on the my nova launcher, the pictures didn't rotate when I putted the phone in landscape.
When using the icon on the app drawer, it did!

I never had that issue. I wouldn't think it would make much difference but I'm on an AT&T S7E with Android 6.0.1 and Nova Launcher Prime 4.2.2.
I tried all 3 ways. Gallery shortcut on my home page, Gallery shortcut on my home page but within a folder, and Gallery app in the App Drawer. I closed Gallery completely in between each test and every time I selected a photo it would rotate from Portrait to landscape without issue. I wonder if some other app is causing the conflict even though you said this happened before on the S6's.
Well, at least it works and thanks for the "fix" information because someone else will surely need it!
I launch Gallery from a folder in Nova Prime, and my images rotate just fine.
Having the same issue on Note 7.
The culprit is nova launcher with "Screen orientation" set to anything but "Auto-rotate". As soon as I set to "Auto-rotate" the gallery started rotate as well.
