Sweet thanks, the Social life news is awesome.
...and works with which ROM?
Quick questions:
On which ROM did you try it?
Did you try it on stock/unlocked/rooted version?
Some screenshots?
Firstly it is looking very nice !
Secondly would it be a big request to port the xperia keyboard ? Or anyone did it before for nexus 5 ?
And also it would be nice if you could make separated zips I mean(only walkman+ addition)(only album+movies) something like this.Of course if you have time and mood for it
Thank you for everything ! :victory:

It's sad that a great dev like Jisnu Sur left xda...but it's also great that you will keep his work with Sony Apps! I have a small little question that all ignore in the other thread...is there the possibility to have a flashable zip with only Walkman? However thanks for your work!

Bad news it that he has even got hus account deleted. He say he may support his work but asked me and some guys experienced in different fields to do it. And if a problem arise he may help us through WhatsApp and all that we will see when time comes up. I was supporting his z2 thread so I am still doing. :fingerscrossed:

One thing to add that 'His work can be continued and promoted ' because the rules says that we can't do these if the person was banned but instead he left XDA As is own will get found some social problems and to live peacefully he did so.He will always help us through his friends because he still has the zeal to work for android

Just take out the .apk from the .zip and install. It works fine for Walkman, not sure if Album and Movies need specific frameworks/libs to work, I didn't try.

Neo dodging bullets on the rooftop. Scene from "The Matrix" when Neo and Trinity trying to save Morpheus! Soon I will add sound...
Just put bootanimation.zip to /system/media/ file.(a file explorer with root access needed, e.x. Root Explorer)
Don't forget to rename the old bootanimation, for example bootanimationlod.zip
You may have to change file permissions in order to work. (rw-r--r-)
Credits for the idea to kappataumu
Hello Dj, did you make the bootsound ? ^^
Not yet as I am working on a little longer version of this bootanimation and with better resolution + sound.
The sound needs an extra procedure for any who want to install it.
I believe I'll have it ready 2 weeks from now as I am not working on it everyday.
screen shot!!!!
@omegfa
If you download the zip file you can see the images.
Update: Maybe I'll make 2 bootanimations! One like the old one but longer, and one for the last scene of matrix! Or a mix of them... haven't decided yet

Yes, I got the APK of the Home Launcher of the XPERIA GX. It was made for Sony devices running ICS, I tried to make it work on my SGS3 but I couldn't. The Sony launcher is a master piece of work. It's so beautifull and usefull.
I will donate with paypal to the one that ports XPERIA GX Launcher WORKING with widgets to the S3. I want to stay on Stock ROM and just replace this ****ty touchwiz launcher.

Great find
I found something similiar, involved editing xml files after decompiling sytemUI, but for an older Android version, so it didn't work. I will decompile his file and check for differences.
I'm currently working on modifying the systemUI.xml of my PA rom which should work on most AOSP roms. I'm trying to adjust icon dimensions to allow for a larger signal strength icon to simulate the new ios7 dot style signal strength icon. Not that relevant... But while I'm there I'll see if I can't make a simple switch sides mod.
Make a paint image or something or find a screen shot of exactly what you want or what side and such. I don't want to forget icons.

Dear Arc/S users
Althought we - Arc or Arc S users - use a smart phone that come out only two year ago we can't use our telephone without custom roms, because it is very laggy, and have got lots of bugs notification led etc. with 4.0.4 update. And some users including me have privacy concerns with permission etc.
I want to call attention to advantages Firefox OS on Arc S:
1. First, I saw this video. http://youtu.be/5MzuGWFIfio. In video Firefox Browser that was very laggy on my Arc S with Custom ROM is working awesome without any lag. And the phone in the video has 256 Mb RAM. Think this os how works fast on Arc S.
2. And all Xperia 2011 series except for Arc have a Firefox OS Development Topic. We have a topic too but is not improved yet, and haven't got enought attention. I open this topic for this stuation.
3. Boot in less than 6 seconds even in MDPI devices. (This Xda Topic) (Edit 1: Firefox OS open as fast as 4.0.4 stock dialer. )
4. The small footprint of a browser based operating system means that B2G should significantly extend battery life before re-charging.(This Xda Topic)
5. B2G will be the first mobile OS to use Do Not Track at the operating system level. (This Xda Topic)
Is there a way to do a backup and transfer messages and contacts from android to firefox and return ?

Can't you select the default launcher when you press the home button? On non-AOSP ROMs, your usually given a choice to choose between launchers if you have more than one. Check if Home.apk is in /system/app, you may try moving it to /system/priv-app and see if that helps

I dont know if this xposed module could work, but the idea is the same:

It corrects the layout for xperia apps,if someone could, give it a try! (I'm still downloading!)

That's pretty much impossible. That's like trying to port the HTC Sense camera to AOSP ROMs. It can't be done due to framework limitations.

@ZeroInfinity, ok , but can u upload only framework and libs folder please, i need it to port some regular apps.....

Can't you select the default launcher when you press the home button? On non-AOSP ROMs, your usually given a choice to choose between launchers if you have more than one. Check if Home.apk is in /system/app, you may try moving it to /system/priv-app and see if that helps

I'm on stock AOSP 4.4.2 Nexus 5. And Home.apk not work for me to. I move it to /system/priv-app, restart phone, and still not work.
