Yes, I got the APK of the Home Launcher of the XPERIA GX. It was made for Sony devices running ICS, I tried to make it work on my SGS3 but I couldn't. The Sony launcher is a master piece of work. It's so beautifull and usefull.
I will donate with paypal to the one that ports XPERIA GX Launcher WORKING with widgets to the S3. I want to stay on Stock ROM and just replace this ****ty touchwiz launcher.

Why not use Xperia Home as launcher.
The one attached works.
But the app drawer is a bit messed out.
Let me try adjusting.
Go on Preferences > App Drawer.
App Drawer Rows = 5.
What about the sms app? The one found on xperia T is simply gorgeous

Note: This is work by ra3al.
This is the closest to an Xperia Launcher on the SIII.
Unfortunately it is made on GB (2.3) so it runs in compatibility.
And doesn't support features like Resizing widgets which are specific to ICS.
We're still waiting for a port from Xperia GX

Album works fine here with lib(libalbumframework.so) included. Have been using Home,HomeAdd & WidgetPicker since day 1 instead of TW, only issue is resizing widgets. SemcNotes working perfect paired with Evernote for gmail backup etc. Walkman, no issue at all (with all the its xtra dependecies).

OK I have been using it for two weeks now and I like it better than ADW, Launcher Pro, etc. They are all Launcher2 variants. This is a great home launcher and combined with Nemo it does me well. It has not slowed down for me at all, I'm not sure why it did for you? Could you please post your themed version? I would love to have it on my phone. I wish someone could get the notification bar working! I use SMS and Email Notifications so the bar is not essential for me but would like to see it work because it has advanced features. I don't have time to make a new thread with screenshots, could someone take screenshots of this themed LiquidLauncher and NemoPlayer and make a new thread?
Here is the link for themed Acer Launcher and themed Nemo Player. If ya like it i also have themed TwizLauncher,LauncherPro,SemiTransparent-Blue drawer android theme and many themed apps that i can post.

NOTE:To make AcerLauncher's settings work download WallSwitch from the market and after opening "AcerLiquid's launcher settings" once(it will force close first time) use WallSwitch to change wallpaper, after you do this Acer settings will not fc anymore.I recommend installing both NemoPlayer and Launcher because they are made to work together.Launcher needs to be put in /SYSTEM/APP folder to work.

You can also just go to your gallery and pick an image and set it as your wallpaper then it won't fc from then on. Also if you put the entire Acer wallpapers folder in your \system\media folder then you can select the Acer preset wallpapers in the Acer settings!

You need to extract two apk files from a zip and put them in /system/app folder. The reason for that is:after theming alot of apps will only work in /system/app folder and will not install regularly anymore for some reason,if anyone knows why that is I would love to know (and no its not the signature).
Oh and for people that hate all this complicated ADB typing and pushing(i know I do) just download Estrongs File Manager(its free) from the market then go to options menu and turn on "root access" then just copy apk files to /system/app folder,it only takes a minute and you don't even need a pc!

The next update of the ROM will be based on FreeXperia Sources 100%
Which should fix tethering and most other things
I love my X10 and there is a bond with other X10'ers here
I wanted to start modding my AOSP into something that I want to call SpartaMOD
I had prepared for this some time ago ...
The ROM will be added on ROM Manager (HTC Desire HD section )
I only have the guts of asking because I now have a lot more knowledge as I created my App "God Mode" based on OMFGB
what would you want in this ?
Be very specific and the advantages of having it
I can't include MIUI Lockscreens , xLoud , etc (I'm not TripNRaver)
Please be careful This MOD will be spread to very many devices
Plans for now are :-
ARC , Neo and X10
HTC desire s and desire HD
Any one cares ?

On the T.E.A.M Rom they have appman which I believe is good for putting add-ons onto your rom without having them pre-installed or having them downloaded from the thread.
Thought of joining FreeXperia Team, spaarc?

Sorry for my bad English....
I personally LOVE the memo app from Touchwiz, it is the single greatest thing on Touchwiz for me, the music app isn't that bad either but I saw this on Doc's ROM and was curious if it would work on other ICS roms, and to my surprise some of the apps did, so here it is, i just put it into a .zip so thank him for making it compatible etc etc.
*THIS WAS TESTED ON AOKP BUILD 27*
Instructions *these are also on the .zip*
Put these .APK's on your phone's SD Card
then use something like ROOT EXPLORER or any other file manager which will allow you
to go into System/App
Move/Copy The APK's into system/app
BE SURE TO SET THE PERMISSIONS AS THE OTHER APPS IN THE FOLDER ARE
permission: rw-r--r--
REBOOT, and find the app in your drawer and see it work
Developer who got this to work; Vibranturk Developer of Doc's Master ICS
The TW LAUNCHER,CALCULATOR from the ROM was not found working, so i didn't include it.

This may be off topic but in terms of TouchWiz apps, I would love to see the camera app ported...Been running ICS and before that CM7 and other custom non-TouchWiz roms for so long but I have always had qualms about the stock camera app with these custom and AOKP roms... The TouchWiz camera app implements panorama and other modes flawlessly but AOKP Android roms have always had flaky camera apps... Even with my Nexus One running stock gingerbread the camera app left a lot to be desired.. It is understandable that on my Vibrant the AOKP ICS camera app is sketchy but I hope Google gets on paar to some of these Android over lays (TouchWiz and Sense) in terms of camera app polish with Jellybean.. *end rant*
I will stay waiting on a TouchWiz camera app port for ICS, although it seems hopeless due to framework incompatibility..
Just putting my 2 cent.
Hi,
Thanks for porting these apps.
They work fine on my GNex LTE.
Just wanted to add that both these apps. work fine just like any other apk files.
I mean just installing them like any other apk works.
Putting them in system/apps will install them on reboot but there isn't any need for that, at least now on my phone.
Hope this helps
Thanks
Thanks so much, working flawless.
I just never got used to any other memo app after changing to custom ROM.

Sorry for the late reply. I did not make this app, I'm just sharing it. I'm not sure if any bug fixes can be done to this since its just a port from the Touchwiz Framework.
Also, PM'ing me 4 times with the same message isn't going to help.
If you really want an app like this memo, maybe you should try a MIUI ROM, they have a really good and even better notes app.
Working great on my GS2 CM9!! thx

Hello everyone, it seems like some goodies from the Sony Xperia Z2 dump works nicely out of the box!
I've made a handy flashable zip for everyone's convenience. YOU NEED TO BE ON ANDROID 4.4 OR LATER IN ORDER FOR THIS MOD TO WORK! ANDROID VERSIONS BELOW 4.4 WILL NOT WORK!

What's in the zip:
Weather Widget
Clock Widget
On/Off Tools (Mobile Data doesn't work)
Top Contacts Widget
World Clock Widget
Photo Widget
Music Widget (Only if you have walkman ported on your phone or Xperia phones with Walkman)
Xperia Home Launcher
Xperia Keyboard (With working smilies, no FCs or any bugs) (Smilies will look different depending on the ROM you are on, e.g AOSP ROM will have the default google hangouts emoji whereas HTC Sense ROMs will have a different style of emojis like the ones in my screenshots)
Xperia Wallpapers
Experience Flow 2 Live Wallpaper

Bugs:
There is a "Ghost" nav bar in home screen, like a blank empty space at the bottom where the nav bar should be. This will only appear if you have a phone with no on-screen nav bars (e.g HTC phones) (Look at screenshots below)

I'm afraid I don't know how
If anyone knows how to get rid of the ghost bar, don't hesitate to post here
I'll have a go at it later if no one knows how to fix it!
First of all many thanks for porting those Z2 goodies for us!! :good:
Maybe you can ask ashishdubey about how to remove the navbar space from the launcher?
He did an port for the Z1 launcher, he made 2 versions of it; 1 with the navbar and 1 without it.
See his thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2598768

I'm using Slimkat 4.4.2 on my Gnex, I have flashed this zip but Home launcher doesn't work. It didn't appear in Settings>Home. any advice for solution?
widgets, keyboard etc. everything works except the launcher. I've tried push the Home.apk but it didn't work also.

Can't you select the default launcher when you press the home button? On non-AOSP ROMs, your usually given a choice to choose between launchers if you have more than one. Check if Home.apk is in /system/app, you may try moving it to /system/priv-app and see if that helps

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2449075
It corrects the layout for xperia apps,if someone could, give it a try! (I'm still downloading!)

That's pretty much impossible. That's like trying to port the HTC Sense camera to AOSP ROMs. It can't be done due to framework limitations.

@ZeroInfinity, ok , but can u upload only framework and libs folder please, i need it to port some regular apps.....
