On a serious note, Its a safe bet that the new M8 picture editing functions will be disabled but I think we stand a good chance at getting motion controls.

The double tap to wake will not be included, due to battery drain problem...HTC said that because the M8 have a coprocessor that prevent battery drain related to "idle" display (included double tap to wake and dot view cover situations)...
At least this is what HTC said to an Italian reviewer less than a month ago...

ElementalX kernel does that beautifully. I'm running it on my stock T-Mobile US 4.4.2 ROM.
I hope HTC keep the Camera APP customised to the HTC One (M7).
The ported Sense 6 ROMs currently use the M8's Camera APP - which does have one of the key features of the M7 - dual shot (camera and video) at the same time.
This was one of the key selling points for the HTC One (M7).
Using a ported ROM, the camera APP is good - but not for video/photos at same time, and you need to switch between different menus to be able to use either the camera or video.

I don't want to flash my phone with custom Rom's or kernels (for now).
But after the Sense 6 is launched and if it will not have that feature I will be forced to do this.

I don't know about all but insertcoin does. I'd assume they do.
Sense 6 gets better battery life and the camera seems to snap pictures faster too. I like it way more than 5.5.

The sense 6 update will probably have no gestures due to it being a Soc feature, though it's possible to do it software based. The ufocus won't be there as we don't have a depth sensor.

I downloaded from a different developer (Binary Bulge) in Market and it's all good except where the predictions are at the top, they're not blue.
I do have some maybe-off-this-particular-topic questions, though. I ditched GoSMS and went back to stock messaging app---is that lower right key (enter/smiley) customizable in CM7's? I had it "Enter" in GoSMS but it's not giving me that option on stock. Can it be changed? I don't see a setting for it anywhere on stock app.
I really like the stock LG's keyboard.

Hey
As you may or may not know me frm the One X forums, but I like designing home screens, and you can find my latest and all either in the Home screens thread in the Themes and Apps section, or on MyColorScreen
My latest there is a home screen that mimics JB 4.1 Notifications, found here
As you know, Google has released Android 4.2 JellyBean, and has implemented Native QuickSettings. Presented with a challenge, I'm going to try and mimic those Notifications too, but I'm gonna need your help. My device currently does not run JellyBean 4.2, but yours probably does, so here's what I need:
1) Download an app called 'Notif' from the Play Store
2) Create a few notifications with it, of various types
3) Take a screenshot of the notifications with these Notifications present there.
4) Take a screenshot of the Quick settings.
That's it, just 2 screenshots, of would be preferred of provided in Full Resolution (DropBox etc)
Thanks a bunch folks, hope to hear from some of you soon

HTC has been very quiet about HTC devices that would receive some form of Sense 5.0. But a leak has come up for the HTC Speedy! Apparently Sense 5,0 has been slimmed down enough to run on devices with the S2 processor. Unfortunately devices like the OG Evo will NOT be supported.
HTC did not include Beats™ Audio, and Boomsound , Along with HTC Zoe.
It has received features such as
All new redesigned Sense UI
HTC Blinkfeed to view all your news sources at a glance
New camera options
Jelly Bean 4.1.2
The zip provided below has the full update. I have removed the bootloader and recovery img's so that you are able to keep your unlocked bootloaders and custom recovery's in tact.
Flash in recovery with the file on the root of your SD Card
Please flash under your own warrant as I do not take any responsibility for what happens to your device.
This is also a follow up to last years leaked OTA thread that can be found HERE

I won't be updating or messing with this so it is just going in General section. Devs feel free to base off of it.

Ι have just uninstalled it.
Well it was impressive, but not for an everyday launcher. It lacks basic features and functionality in comparison with Nova i.e.
I think that it makes our phone to sort of lose its originality and "feeling", I don't know how else to put it. Anyway I'm not really that into facebook so I may be missing some of the stuff that Fb Home has to give.
Thanks to the OP in any case

In Sense 5.5 you can choose whether to use Blinkfeed or to use traditional desktop.

We can kind of do that now. Are there widgets/buttons on the 5.5 blinkfeed for calls/texts etc? Kind of like Windows 8 I suppose.
Ideally, I'd want to be able to put a widget for battery stats, google ears, music and custom folder widgets. Then just scroll down for the feed stuff.

If it happens, it will make the blinkfeed something more than a publicity gimmik.
and then maybe everyone will start using it
Would be nice if the went back to want sense was all about and not some stripped down ui like Motorola is doing. I miss 4+.

What do you miss about 4+ that you don't have in sense 5? The only thing that sense 5 lacks is lag, and gives so much more, namely phenomenal battery life versus sense 4+.
