[Glitch, Exploit] My Google Account Glitched, I can have free paid apps!

This is really weird. When i download a paid app or protected app, it appears under /sdcard/download as downloadfile.apk
It happens to every ROM i use.

Mine does that too whenever i restore a rom. The market auto restores all apps but they download to /sdcard/download first. Even if you delete the files from download. Reflash a new rom and let it restore your apps it will re-add the "downloadfile*.apk" to your downloads folder. Weird but nice.
Never thought of it but buying an app, flashing a new rom and letting it restore will put it on sdcard and then you can get a refund and it will still be there.
Wonder why it does this?

Which app can be safely disabled in Nexus 7

Hi guys,
In order to save battery as well as 3G data, you may want to disable some system apps (e.g Currents, Google+, Maps, Hangout...)
Dou you know which app can be safely disabled in our Nexus 7?

the ones i disabled and didn't have any problems whatsoever:
daydreams
currents
earth
google play books, magazines, movies, music
google+
hangouts
keep
maps
talkback

Tks mate. I've just disabled some keyboard like Hindi, Korean, iWnn... too.
BTW, there are not Google play books and Google magazines in my N7. I'm not sure why.

Some Google Apps are not supported in all countries. That should be the reason for the absence of those.

Apps I disabled at first boot

So, coming from a long tradition of rooting and fiddling around when I first booted the Z3c yesterday I was "impressed" by all the apps that are on the phone that I really, really don't need. Now, since we don't have a way to safely root the device I have deactivated as much as possible.

You go into apps, then swipe to the right to the "All" tab. Click on the app you want to deactivate and there's a button that says "disable"
3 things:
- I personally always stop the app and clear the data
- Some apps you can not disable, that button is then greyed out.
- Some services might not work if you disable the wrong app, disable only if you are sure that you don't need that app. (might sound logic but I've heard many things in my xda-life..)

Out of curiosity which ones of the ones I deactivated do you use on a regular basis?
Of course, I need a browser, emails and a music player so I have nb pro, cloudmagic and spotify instead of chrome, gmail and walkman.

That was really more of a joke, like how can there be that much to disable and still have stuff left on the phone.. :silly:
But, I use Hangouts, the Xperia FB/Twitter are likely for integrating FB/Twitter into contact list (which I like because it pulls in pictures), gmail, chrome, Walkman (I still buy my music on CDs and rip to FLAC), GP Books (I have a couple magazine subscriptions)... the rest I'm not sure on.
What's the benefit to disabling an app if it's not running in the background? It's still taking up space on /system (not that you could use the space otherwise, unless rooted of course).

Be aware, Disabling Device Administrators triggers (some) Apps to get activated again!

but if Idon't use those apps they will be running in background taking ram or just take memory from my internal storage?

I get a button that says "Force Stop" but no "Disable"
Edit: looks like some apps have disable and others dont.
Why do some applications automatically load up (IE Google Maps) even when I don't run it?

Because sometimes other apps trigger them to run in the background.

For Lollipop 23.1.A.0.726 - Unbranded - Spain (1288-5410) I disabled:

Google app issues on startup

I have been having some issues, mostly with Google Apps, on startup. When I reboot the launcher, Nova, never starts, Gmail instantly crashes, and all the rest of my Google Apps, like the Play Store, say they need Authenticated. To fix it I have to go into the settings and clear all the saved data. I have turned off some of the stock bloat and I am sure that one, or more of the apps that I have turned off is causing the problem. I am on U.S. Cellular stock, rooted, 4.4.2 and have turned off the following apps:

Solution for Error: The package conflicts with an existing package by the same name.

I'll share my steps on how I surpassed the said error and installed almost all s8 apps on my non rooted note 5 excluding the following:
camera, installed that FC
aod, installed but NW
wallpapers, keyboard are apps encountered such error!
edge related apps, installed not NW
other system related apk like settings, systemui etc that arent advisable to be installed
Prepare the following: USB disk where all apps you wanted to install saved, installer apk pro, USB OTG Adapter
1. Factory Set your phone
2. set-up phone like u did, but skip in signing both google and samsung account
3. Close wifi, location, nfc mobile data faster upon reaching "Home"
4. Directly go to settings and set security "OFF
4. Insert USB OTG with USB disk, Install the installer apk pro first and use it by and batch installation by selecting ALL apk saved in USB and click INSTALL, although u need to press DONE all the time.
5. VIOLA, you'll be amazed..
And I noticed you call still upgrade once there's available updated version for that apk by not turning off/ restarting ur phone...once its restarted..you'll encounter the aformentioned error again..
