[Q] Portable Battery Packs for Tegra Note 7 - Nvidia Tegra Note 7

I want to buy a portable battery pack for my Tegra Note 7. Has anyone purchased one that is compatible? Any feedback or tips would be appreciated. I have zero experience with battery packs, but Googling it I noticed that some tablets have compatibility issues with certain battery packs, hence my question. Thanks!

I have an RavPower14000mah battery pack that I bought off of Amazon that charged as quickly as the wall charger using the 2A socket. Just search for RavPower 14000 mah external battery as I can't post links yet.

Is someone else also facing inaccurate battery reading with battery SNN5893A

I am facing a strange problem with my device battery indicator it drains the battery very quickly from 100 to 1% in about 2 1/2 hours and after which it gives a battery life more than the time it took to discharge from 100%.I have tried almost all the methods given on various thread but nothing worked. And today on a droid froum i saw a thread in which they have mentioned that the atrix batter with serial number SNN5893A gave them the similar issues like mine when they used this battery with droid.
Is it possible that i am having these issue bocz of this serial number battery as my device battery number is also SNN5893A.

I have three of those batteries that you have. One bought from the UK and ordered two of them from the US. These batteries, being fake or not, gives the same battery charge as the original. I blame Motorola for this because it is impossible to purchase the original batteries from any where.
The exterior of these batteries would wear off much quicker than the original. The low level battery, when is not, has trade off in apps that would not work if the battery level below certain levels i.e. CoPilot app. Charging the battery with the Atrix handset can workout a headache too.
I have eventually bought two desktop chargers to solve the problem. The charger is able fully charge both types of batteries, the good and the bad. See the link below where I purchased the second from for about £14 from Hong Kong. In UK it costs almost the double. Reliable trader since I got mine alteady. With each desktop charger I can charge two batteries at same time. The desktop charger works as a stand, plugged to MicroUsb, too. This is how the second battery is charged. This either can be plugged to the mains (wall outlet) or to the computer. To charge the spare battery it must be plugged to the mains (wall outlet) only.
Now, you can save yourself, from my experience, and buy the Anker alternative from ebay which is the cheapest source. I have read the batteries perform better than those you and I have even though they are at 1800mAH.
A word of warning; I used the power plug shipped with Atrix to charge the battery from the desktop charger. That might have damaged the plug because I no longer can charge neither Atrix nor my Defy with it. The usb cable came with the handset works when I plug it to my laptop.

[Q] N4 doesn't charge from battery pack when it's lower than 50% charged?

So this is an issue both my brother and I just experienced yesterday - we have external battery packs (from a goalzero solar setup) that take 4 AA batteries and are supposed to charge mobile devices. They have worked very well for all previous devices (galaxy nexus, galaxy S2, droid 2 global, og droid.) However, when our N4s were below 50% charged the phone would not detect that it was plugged in to the battery pack and would not charge. USB and AC connections worked fine at that point. Once the phones were above 50% they would both take a charge from the battery packs. Has anyone else seen this, and is there possibly a work-around?
Thanks!

Portable Battery Charger in Canada

Ok so I tried to search but the function is down for some reason.
I have been looking at Portable battery chargers for my Nexus 4 but amazon.com does not like Canada and pretty much all the "well known" ones aren't shipping here.
I was looking at these two:
http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX42716
http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX42172
Besides the obvious capacity differences, anyone have any experience with either and their Nexus 4s? 1A should be enough for most smart phones but I tried out a charger for a diff phone (not sure which one sorry) on my Nexus 4 and was getting no charge which I found very strange as it was still a 5V/1A output charger...
Any help would be great.
http://www.123inkcartridges.ca/accessories-product/MCH_603.html 3000mah, ships in canada. ZNOODA usually makes decent portable batteries.. Will be ordering mine soon.
i have a 5000mah charger from monoprice. it charges at 1a and really is 5000mah since i was able to charge my Nexus 7 fully with it. Monoprice also ships to canada for $5.
the charger for the Nexus 4 is 5v/1.2A. For the best results get a charger with a 2A output (usually reserved for tablets).

Aftermarket chargers rated for 2.1a is designed to only output that much current to apple products, you will not get that much to any android device. I have a few chargers and external batteries that have a 2.1a usb port and none of them output more than 1a. I've tested with the GN. N4, N7 and Transformer. Android and apple have different ways that let the charger knows how much current is needed. The charger i linked has a 2.1a port too...

[Q] Slow charge

Hi, I noticed that my Nexus 4 charger pretty slow so I decided to check this out.
i've been doing a lot of reading here but couldn't figure out the problam.
I'm using the original charger (lg's 5v 1.2a) but charge speed is around 300-400ma (checked with battery monitor widget), with short peaks around the 600-700ma.
I tried the galaxy nexus charger (5v 1a) with both the samsung cable and the lg.. got around 850ma which is slighty lower than expected.
decided to give it a try with a friend's nexus 5 charger (1.2a) but also got only ~850ma at the most.
So I think my charger doesn't work like it should, but can't seem to figure out why other chargers won't charge full speed.
(I'm running rooted kitkat 4.4 if that's relevant to the matter).
Does anyone has any idea what could be the problem?
Thank you!!
I've never seen a full 1200mAh charge no matter what cable/charger combo I use. Closest I can recall seeing is high 900's using battery monitor widget pro.
It's possible that the charge rating I am seeing is taking into account the drain as well from using the phone. So it could be around +1200mAh but with screen on and the apps that I have running + other services (wifi, bluetooth, etc), that it is only doing around +800mAh in terms of charging the battery.

My Gnex charges at a little over 1000ma (with the samsung 1a charger - same charger that gives my nexus 4 ~850ma)
Nexus 5 got 1070 max with its' 1.2a charger.... both messured with battery monitor widget.
Could the N4 charge be limitted to 900ma?
Any chance my connetcor or battery need fixing?
anybody has any idea what could be the problam?

I use my Streamlight lantern It has a 2 amp charge at 5 volt and 10,000 Mah battery i think
If I ever need a battery,I make it through the day no issues on my stock rooted setup with about 35% left normally....
I have one of the choetech charging cords that show a amperage draw while charging And the lantern puts off about the same amperage as my official chargers fast or regular
