couple of questions I wanna ask u..
1. when u bought ur device was it a brand new one or a used one??
2.are u sure ur device is not locked?? did u check you your IPL??
3.what is your IPL/SPL compination??

How to flash any rom...
I have original rom loaded and with ipl/spl of 2.xx
but now i have ipl/spl 3.14.com.
loaded more that 100's of roms of 6., 6.1, 6.5.
any rom.
first of all you need to know your device configuration to load any rom.
if you have detailed configuration then you can load it.
currently loaded wm6.5 28011 onyx. rom.
radio : 3.34
procedure!!!!!!
i will be enclosing the safe procedure for flashing...
no worry.....
you will learn to load and make your own flash...
give to few days time..

if your spl says spl 3.14.com.... it means you have done HSPL... and thats the normal thing everybody do to go in for safe cookedroms flashing..

like wise any specific rom i s made for specific mobile so as i make any rom specific for my mobilbe and even fon's battery level is 10% then also i can easily flash rom its in secs. and easily configure my cell easily..

rather than keeping it a secret you should share your knowledge. everyone know one can cook a rom and flash it on his mobile. i suggest please be clear with your english.

Procedure for flashing (how i am flashing rom)
I have phone elfin 128mb ram.What you want softwares:
1) device info software for information regarding your device.
2) rom extractor... htc rom image editor version 0.4.0.51
AnDim
3) ROM builder. With this tool you can build a ROM (*.nbh)
from a rom parts (*.nb) in a comfortable interface.
by - Alexander "Dark Simpson" Simonov.
you can flash rom compatible with your CID (country/caller id) i.e. rom that you are going to flash must have cid of your phone.
steps:
Connect your Phone and establish Activesync Connection
find following for flashing:
Device ID : ELF0******
CID : ur cid. of phone.
GSM.nb radio file
IPL_H3.nb ipl h3 file
OS.nb os file extracted from built rom.
SPL.nb spl file
For deviceID you need to have software called deviceinfo.exe

Step 2:
Now make rom for your elfin
you need to have software called
ROM builder. With this tool you can build a ROM (*.nbh)

Build!
you will find that you have give name to your file named it
RUU_signed and it will make rom for your phone.
after it is completed it shows everythings seems to be ok
then close you have build your own rom compatible with your mobile.
RUU_signed.nbh
now flash it to your mobile.

must connect your phone through usb.
start your phone pressing camera key you will see triple colour screen showing ipl/spl/
blue,green,red.
flash it from pc.
after every thing is over your will get message update complete.
your will get your rom flashed. but every data before flash must be back up.
this is bit lengthy but easy to use and flash....

well good one. tried it. works. but this is a lengthy process. rather dont you think cid unlocking it once will allow you to flash as many roms as you want. once you have unlocked it you just need to a custom ruu and a rom file. thats it. rest you know how to go about. i appreciate your method.

I am new on this forum. My phone is a touch HD.
I flashed already this rom on it (Energy.BLACKSTONE.21916.Sense2.5.Jan.06) and wanted to flash this one (Energy.BLACKSTONE.29007.Sense2.5.Cookie.2.0.Jan.17).
So I copied these 2 files on my sd card (BLACIMG.nbh and Blackstone_softwareupgrade.exe) and then run the .exe but I get this message:
"ERROR Blackstone_softwareupgrade.exe TypeLOadException The version of the assembly System, version=2.0.0.0 Culture=neutral Publickeytoken=B77A5C561934E089 cannot be loaded by this version of the microsoft.NET Compact Framework"

I am trying to install [28.June.2011][MAG/cLK] NexusHD2-Gingerbread V2.8 [GRJ22/Android2.3.4][K: tytung_r10] by tytung.
MAGLDR 1.13 has installed correctly
Downloaded MAGLDR_CWM_Recovery_v3.2.0.0_for_NexusHD2_135M.zip, but when I run DAF.exe file I get the following message:
An error has occurred
Read below for more information
Error Description: Config load failed.
Info: .\RSPL\RSPL.cpp (725)
Error Description: CONFIG: can't open config file
Info: .\RSPL\RSPL.cpp (304)
My device has on it:
Device: HTC HD2
HSPL: 2.08.HSPL
Radio: Leo_RADIO_2.15.50.14
Bootloader: MAGLDR 1.13
I previously had NexusHD2-Froyo V1.9G NAND and it worked fine.
I even reinstalled WM 6.5 and started from scratch, but still had same error as above.
Please Help
You are missing files on the zip file.
Go to this link and download the CMYLXGOs.ClockworkMod.Recovery.Partition.Setup.02.04.2011.RAR
then extract rapitool.exe and enterbootloader.exe to your MAGLDR_CWM_Recovery_v3.2.0.0_for_NexusHD2_135M folder.
Don't worry you are not replacing any files, these are the files that missing from the build.

In that case, go to activesync, settings and disable allow usb connection. then right click on the DAF.exe and properties. Make sure the compatibility is not set to like windows xp SP2, in other words make sure to uncheck the compatibility.
Run as administrator, this should work.
just a word of caution, DO NOT REPLACE ANY OTHER FILES other than I specified above. Which are rapitool.exe and enterbootloader.exe

u can just use the tool kit and choose 135lb with 5mb cache ...its the same

Okay, I have followed the above. But I couldn't see on "DAF.exe" when right clicked, 'propertiies' or anything to change 'compatibility'. I use Windows 7 on my pc.
I have retried the whole process, but still the same error message! The phone currently has WM 6.5 on it. Surely, if I follow the instructions on tytung's thread and the files within the zip files are correct, it should work. so what am I doing wrong
Just a thought: I have "CotullaHSPL 0x50" rather than "CotullaHSPL 0x30" on phone, could that be the problem?
All other requirements as per tytung's thread are correct.

If you are flashing this ROM I think you may have the wrong version. This version is the one to copy on an SD card because it does not say "NAND" in the description.

hmmm interesting thought, however looking at the installation guide @ point 3
Flash Android ROM
Enter ClockworkMod Recovery when you're on MAGLDR 1.13 (hold "Power" button during boot) and select "AD Recovery" or "Boot AD SD" (if ever copied CWM's initrd.gz and zImage to SD).
Flash NexusHD2-Gingerbread_V2.8_NAND_(Android-2.3.4)_update.zip (85.27 MB)
the file name to download has "nand" in it!
If any of you can message tytung for me to confirm if it's nand or not, would be appreciated. System won't let me send a direct message as I don't qualify for that at this time

unfortunatly, after following the guide you provided, and flashing the ClockworkMod Recovery version posted in OP of TyphooN thread (run DAF.exe)
I still got the following error message:

Error Description: EnterBootloader missing
Info: .\RSPL\BootLoader.cpp (176)
I did follow all steps correctly, even using all the files linked in the guide
My Htc HD2 is the international version.

if u can run task 29 and install magldr and stuck only on recovery this mean something is wrong in ur computer ...try the toolkit and even if u have the problem try again and again ( it happend to me once and i just kept trying and trying and i did it) or change the computer iy might help

I don't know what else I can do. Do you mind doing a video of what you doing and upload it here. That might help us to see what's going on.
You really need to do some extensive search online, see if others had a same problem and how they resolved it.

I did manage to find another thread with similar problems and followed some of there actions, to no avail.
Its just really strange. I had Tytung's [26.JAN][DFT/CWM] NexusHD2-Froyo V1.9G [Android2.2.2][Kernel: tytung_r2_oldcam] installed on this phone previously and all worked well. Worst thing is, that I put WM 6.5 last night thinking that if I start from scratch and realy watch what I am doing then I might get it right, but now I can't even get MAGLDR 1.13 to go on it.
Sorry, but I don't have a vid cam to record & upload.
More searching I will do, but I am just not sure where I'm going wrong (and it's not that hard really and that's sooo frustrating)

No problem, glad to help.
One more thing, why don't you do a task29 and this will allow you to clear any partition and other junk.
then install the wm6 then do the Android. Currently I have the following ROM on my phone

Try to install this and see if this works. Make sure you get the second one which is the international version.

Okay, I have reflashed an original HTC HD2 WWE 3.14 Rom.
Then:
Clean Install MAGLDR:
1. Task 29
2. Flash Radio(2.15 Recommended)
3. MAGLDR 1.13
..... (why me?) after lashing MAGLDER 1.13, reboot holding down power button, all I get is white screen with HTC on it.
So what would I have done wrong?
Radio is Leo 2.15.50.14

i have tried everything like i am not sleeping for two days. i tried to boot with ap3NewSpl and device shut it self down with error 270 while th progress bar was at %1. I could not find any rom for spl 3.05 (i don't know if there is)
I tried to flash with original rom and got the error spl 3.05 not allowed. Now i am so hopeless. Please help me to solve this.You can ask any question i will reply it immediately.

I tried to boot with a rom called ap3NewSpl but got error 270. At least can you direct me a rom for spl 3.0.x
i am figuring it out step by tep. i found the reason of ERROR 270 while updating with the ap3NewSpl is my device is cid locked. As far as i learned there is two way to do that, first cid unlock your device. I tried it but got error 300, sec on way is rom update with cid locked device by changing the nbh file. I am still trying. if any one have any idea pls help.
There are some updates and observations on my side. Since I'm an iOS developer windows mobile like across the bridge. Shortly, my device is cid locked it does not let go to custom roms, i can't upload original rom because my spl does not match so here is my suggestion:
When i try to boot the original rom(Advantage_HTC_WWE_2.21.405.2_1.50.00.00_Ship) it says found spl 1.10 spl 3.05 not allowed(something like that) What did after this point is opened exe with winrar and took out the RUU_Signed.nbh and than using NBH to NB i took the interiors out than opened the spl.nb file with note pad investigated the code found something like spl = 1.10.0000 changed them to spl = 3.05.0000 saved it closed it. After that i recombine the files with NB to NBH tool than put the RUU_Signed.nbh back the original rom file and changed it with the my modified RUU_Signed.nbh after all i run the update exe !!! this time !!! it did not gave me the found spl 1.10 error it go till %1 than i got error 270. this is a good sign since if i can find the reason of error 270 i can run the rom clearly. I am posting this updates may be some one get different ideas. I will be posting the updates.
Ok last time i tried the original rom and get error 270 because my device is cid locked, i was expecting that. This time i found 'Athena Rom Version 2.19.707.4 Radio Version 1.45.00.10 (No CID Unlock Needed)' first i run the rom got the error spl found 1.10 bla bla and than get the .nbh file out than did the process nbh to nb opened up the spl file changed the spl = 1.10.0000 to 3.05.0000 than tided up everything back to .nbh put it back run the exe got the error 270 again. This time getting error 270 meaningless since as it written on the file it don't need cid unlock. I need to find out the reason of this error deep into the rom. Any idea appreciated.

You just don't have HSPL. And since Task29, cLK & MAGLDR depend on it, you'll get an error.
Try running HSPL with Admin Rights, it should work.

still RAPITOOL error, it comes with Microsoft Windows Mobile Device Center, but i cannot install this on Win8 64 bit..

Okay, are you running HSPL.exe from within a zip? If yes, extract it to a folder and try again (run as admin).
If it still doesn't work, I can upload rapitool here. You put it with the same folder and run HSPL again.
Edit: Uploaded rapitool. Download, extract and put in HSPL folder.
ok, i put everything into one folder, run as admin and RAPI.dll is still missing "try to reinstall program BLAH BLAH"

Turn off the phone and remove the sdcard and delete whatever LEOIMG.nbh you got on it. Then tell me what shows up on the bootloader screen.

I cannot connect Phone to Lappy, so i have to put SD into another phone and remove leoimg from another phone, right?
Yes, if you don't have a card reader to put it in the computer directly.
Crap, searched everywhere and there is missing Adapter of course :/ i will try to do it tomorrow or today if i borrow any smartphone lol :/ and what should i do after clearing sd card? what if i cannot find valid stock rom?

That's another problem. It could be the sdcard, or the phone. I suggest going to Android and check if everything is working properly. But I lean towards the sdcard, since WP is known to be incompatible with many card brands.
