I ordered from handtec and I just checked my card, they have charged it which, according to their FAQs they only do when they ship the product. I do hope that is the case.

I hope ur right, I also ordered thru Handtec but paid with Amazon which they had to charge immediately.

I would not get too excited about that. My card was charged by Carphone Warehouse on the 23rd March!
I just spoke to a helpful gentleman over the phone from CPW. He confirmed that they do actually have stock in the warehouse but cannot release it until Sony give the OK of which there is no date...even more annoying if it is true as Sony are doing themselves no favours in holding back the release [emoji35]

Spoke to Vodafone twice today. First time this morning was told no stock has been received and Sony would update them later today so ask again tonight.
Just spoke to then and the woman was useless. Said she had to check if it's been shipped from the warehouse, even though I told her I just wanted an update on the delay and she said they have been doing since the 10th... Completely incompetent.
Expecting an argument on the legality of the contact now as I plan on canceling if they can't at least give me a simple purpose update on the status!

I'm truly amazed at the cluster this launch has turned out to be. I am still in awe at the way this is being handled by Sony and I'm a Sony customer. Wish all the best in getting resolution. I canceled pre-order and went with EBay. The device is worth the wait but supply chain at Sony should be chastised for not handling this better.

Am thinking that maybe the pre-orders with CPW are only relating to contract phones and that us sim free buyers may have to wait until the sim free launch in May as retailers always favour the contract sales as that where the money is.
I did ask a clueless person in Phones4U about the sim free model and he said they wouldn't be able to sell it sim free until 2 weeks after they get the phones in. He did also state that is would be around £700 sim free, so maybe take his comments with a pinch of salt.

Ok , I pre-predered & PAID for my Z2 on the 26th February to give you some reference, My last email from Sony support said they would be dispatching from W/C 14/4/14,
However I have just been on the phone to Sony e-commerce Michael and his latest information on my Z2 is that they wont be dispatching until the end of April..:crying:

Normally disadvantages would be:
Compatility issues..... make sure you're getting the correct model for your region/network
The wait....... ummmmmmm, might actually be quicker
Fake........ Obviously you run this risk anywhere, but be more cautious when ordering from overseas
warranties, guarantees etc..... if they're valid it would cost loads to ship back if it needed repairs
think thats about it..... oh n customs

Just talked to Martin at GSMnation. Mine wont ship until Friday. They have had 50-60 orders for this phone in two days. Apparently they've been shipping them out this week, Hopefully BagOfSnakes got his in a lot earlier than my order so he gets his by Friday.

I've been keeping a close eye on the internets and comparing online retailers. I posted the day they put the Arc up for sale. Unless they had tons of preorders we should be the first few. But I don't even think they had a North American Arc up for preorder at all. They already charged my CC too. That better mean they actually have the phone in their possession to be sent.
I contacted their live chat today and asked about the Silver color. They said that they plan on selling the silver color soon and he advised me to check back next week.
Just wanted to share this info in case people are interested in the silver like I am.

I spoke to the SE folks last month and they mentioned that they did not have a release date for the US. They mentioned that it was going on sale in Canada towards the end of April and that an unlocked version would be available in Canada towards the mid-end May timeframe.
Hopefully, the information I got was incorrect and you guys get your phone soon!

Well, their website says "In Stock - Ships within 24-48 hours". So hopefully you should get yours no later than Tuesday.
YEA i spoke to them this morning and he told me the phone was in stock. i asked him when is my order being ship he said 24/48(ordered mine last night) hours to process orders so looks like im getting it next week ... i also asked the guy for the SGS2 he said it was schedule to arrive this week or latest next one...

Yes and No about that. I've been using eBay for over 8 years. I use it pretty much daily lol.
If it is in the US, they will give you a free return label to ship it back.
If it's in another country, you have to pay out of pocket and it must have a tracking number. To ship it with a tracking number (a must to have since they have to see it is delivered), it will be well over $30 (if I'm not mistaken) to ship it to China.

yea I am still awaiting mine, it says it will be here between February 8th and the 27th, so hopefully within the next week or so I see it.

The wait is over! Ebay has finally shut this guys account down. I contacted paypal (I paid as a paypal guest account) they informed me since I paid as a guest there was nothing they could do to recover my funds. So I am contacting my visa card to get this refunded. I will never do this again. I believe when you receive it depends on the shipping you select. For example, I pre-ordered the Xperia Z1 from HandTec UK and it is expected to release September 16. I chose 1-3 day shipping so it should come sometime next week hopefully.

I don't agree with that - I asked Clove about their shipping order policy and it is on a first come first serve basis no matter where you live, so if you are the first person to pre-order a Z1 and live in Brazil yours will be the first out the door - why would it make a difference where you are from ???????

1) Order is processing - so they do not know about delivery
2) Order will be 3-5 days (email states this is ONLY for people not in uk mainland..)
3) Courier is uk mai - this maybe true
4) SHould arrive tomorrow - call them tomorrow to confirm
5) Will arrive this week
In summary - the guy had no idea!

I pre ordered my G2 about a month ago and rang Car phone warehouse to confirm my delivery for tomorrow which they did state at the time of ordering that i would receive the phone on the 1st October. The lady dealing with me put me on hold and came back a few minutes later and told me that no stock had been received and it will be a few weeks before they start to ship them out.

all over the Netherlands thats the case. I got mine by sheer luck. Was searching all merchants and found one awesome one that had it in stock. maybe with luck you can do the same.
I was looking for the Z1 last Friday in the Netherlands, at the mediamarkt They didn't have any, however by surprise, the lg g2 was already available and in stock.by the looks of the device and the fact the screen is superb I immediately got one on contract. They only had 2 though, so i guess there isn't a lot in stock, since the major Dutch providers, and phonestores don't present it as in stock. Lg Netherlands however posted a tweet that both the 16 and the 32 gb version should be available this week.

Around 3,000 handsets and that the couldnt access them on the system but was told they will be packaged up and sent over the course of this evening. Should get a dispatch email.text early tomo morning!? they said worst case i should get it wednesday.

Its amazing how one person can tell you one thing and the next another lol She even tried to encourage me to cancel my order. She went away to ask a manger and she even raised a ticket to "higher up" to see why they advertised the phone for the 1st October when they knew they wouldn't be available,Id be amazed if i had a delivery email from them this week and i know this has happened before with them on the HTC One! For some reason LG don't treat the UK market with Respect on most of there items. I bought a LG smart tv and i had to wait nearly 2 month for them to ship me a magic remote. Yeah i saw the delay with Expansys and clove today

Just ordered one on the clove website. £455 (great price) and the window case comes free with it so I couldnt resist and I need a replacment for my 5S has its going back soon.

I ask because I have a 5S coming Friday but have also been looking at the G2.

according to android authority T mobile has pushed the date for Nexus 6 to November 19th

According to Des on Twitter, one of the reasons for the delay was to make sure all locations were able to get a demo phone. As the leaked list showed, only 2/3 of locations were even getting a demo, and only 1/3 were getting sellable stock.

So 11/19 all should have demos & stock to sell otherwise This list linked from http://www.droid-life.com/2014/11/1...ednesday-from-t-mobile-check-this-list-first/ or is that no longer happening?
I called today because at one point there were rumors demos might show up today & was told they were expecting demos tomorrow & only 32GB MBlue but I'd definitely call again before heading there..

I want the largest available.. 64GB in this case (I'd take 128GB if it were available) so I'm not going to find it tomorrow but hope to get it before Xmas..

Speaking to one of my friends who also works at T-Mobile today around 9PM EST he told me the email they received was no sale in store but they can direct ship from the store to the customer. I asked he got no email of delayed launch and he said not today maybe if it does it will come in tomorrow. He's a trust worthy guy and knows what hes talking about just as crazy about this stuff as me.

Guess he doesn't know that Tmobile stores don't ship from the store to the customer....
I though I saw can order in store and ship home. I have seen this option multiple times

Direct ship, yeah they can order it for CX and have it sent to store. If he's saying he can order you one, you might wanna do that fast before they block it for him

I just called 611 from T-Mobile and they are not letting you order the phone over the phone. So if a store will let you buy one then you are lucky and jump on it. But I highly doubt that anyone from t mobile is going to sell it earlier.

Just like any business, you have a plan. Moto promised them stock for the date they planned. Looks like Moto failed to deliver for whatever reason (could've been a manufacturing issue)

Amazon notified me yesterday that the Spigen cases I ordered were "shipped by Spigen" and would be arriving 11/25-28.
Well, this is what I get for not checking the N6 forums yesterday. Stopped by the store and they didn't even know about the delay until I asked about the phone. That's when the rep saw the internal memo saying the launch was pushed back. It's complete BS to push back a launch date the day before. They already knew there was limited supply.
