Hi, I'm having an issue where when I recieve an incoming call my s5 talks and tells me who is calling. I can't seem to turn it off. I've tried talkback but it's already off. And car mode is also off? Anyone experience this?

I think that's only for calls and other notifications. Try going into the messaging app and then go into it's settings. There should be an option to turn vibration on
Does anybody know if Voice Notification feature can be controlled programmatically? E.g. turn off at night or turn on in the car only.
Tasker doesn't seem to be able to do it a.t.m.

I recently got the galaxy s5 and for some reason when my phone is sitting by itself it will make a noise as if I was calling someone. It's the tone you hear when you call a person and wait for them to answer and it will sound only once and do it again in about 5 to 10 minutes. I read around forums but they found that it was the NFC making their phone make strange noises. I turned NFC off and to no avail. Any ideas??:crying:
That's strange did you try a factory reset? I had my motion settings ticked, so that it would make a call if rotated, that kept screwing me being in my pocket. Try shutting all your air gestures and motions off

Hi, I'm having two separate issues with incoming calls. Either it doesn't ring and goes straight to voicemail, or when I try to answer it if I just get silence and I can't hear anything from the other person. this happened both before and after the OTA

Same problem with Nexus 5x - I see and hear incoming call ring, answer, and there is no audio. I hang up, it somehow puts the caller in my voicemail. When I call them back I get their voicemail, because they are leaving me a voicemail. Outgoing calls work fine. Also intermittent issues where bluetooth audio out does not work, only fixed by making a bluetooth phone call or rebooting phone.
Hey everyone,
When I'm having a call (cellular, Whatsapp, Skype....), and after few minutes, loudspeaker auto-activates and I have to disable it by tapping the loudspeaker switch twice, since it's not activated at first, so I have to activate and turn it off.
Is this a known issues? any idea how to solve it?
Thanks.
