same problem. money was refunded. but it is still not on my visa. seems that nobody works on 1st of january thats why i can't try another service (was adviced by http://mega.sim-unlocker.com). Exactly the same problem with "www.sim-unlocker.com"
I have a T-Mobile Mega.
The IMEI number on the box is 15 digits
The IMEI number under battery is 15 digits
The IMEI number obtained from the phones Device Information is 17
I used the 15 digit one and got this error I'm also awaiting a reply from them.
The website say

i think it's ok! cause the last two digits is 01? i think that's mean that, cellphone is locked. normal imei is 15digits. p.s. what answer are you waiting for? mega.unlock-now.com? p.p.s. i'm still not purchased their code. problem with paymet, but if they work fine, i'll try to solve all problems faster. please post the result here.

Well I had a lengthy round of debate with the support staff who were very responsive and helpful, however nothing worked not even the code they generated from their side, I thought it might be a fault with the phone but even after a hard reset no joy, so I'm returning it and reluctantly sticking to my HTC Hero (Not a fan of Android)
I asked for a refund, but they declined presumably because no one is entirely sure were the fault lies, however the software I originally purchased from then was broken re: "Application Error 3" so I've files a claim with PayPal.
though the process has left me even more sceptical about these unlocking services, most of you guys seem to have got yours working and the support staff were very good they did try everything.

Hey, guys. i wrote the solution a couple of posts above. one service worked with the same error for me. but another sent me working code. if niether of services working, i think there is no solution yet.

No Solution returned the phone
No Refund,
No Unlock,
Totally ripped off
Returned the phone
Wouldn't trust this service, and I'll never be tempted to pay for an unlock code again.

This Sim unlocker worked for me, no issues. except that i had problem with auto sync working with vista which is is unrelated really. I was wondering tho now that ive unlocked my phone off tmobile, how do i go about getting everything working, seems i cant go on the internet as its still locked to tmobile, can make calls / messages fine on an O2 sim any help would be HUGELY appriciated

Hi! I just paid for an unlock code for HTC Touch 2 from Orange Romania on mega.sim-unlocker.com. I tried using the software but I keep getting Unknown Application Error 3. The IMEI I gave them is 15 digits... I read it from the box.
Any idea why I get this error? I filed a case with them. I need to get my money back in case they don't unlock my phone. I compared the imei from the box with the one in device info on the phone: they are the same. I typed the 15 digit imei correctly.

I've unlocked my Touch2 from Orange RO using www.sim-unlocker.com software and payed 15E for that. Unnfrotunately I didn't know about QMAT at that time and the fact that it costs only 20E .

when i try to download an official ROM from http://www.htc.com/europe/SupportDownload.aspx?p_id=297&cat=2&dl_id=1043 it says "Sorry, this software download is not suitable for your device.".
So where can i download stock ROM, and how can i understand wich is for my HD2?

Where's the phone from? Is it a contract phone or bought unbranded? What country?
Go to htc.com, select the country the phone is from, choose support, downloads, filter the list for rom updates, if the phone was contract look for a rom with that network in the name, if not try the rom with HTC in the name. If serial isn't accepted you made a mistake.
There are exceptions, cos some countries must sell phones unlocked, so a contract phone will still take the unbranded rom. Get the country right and start trying downloads till you get serial accepted.

I''ve found the ROM it was from Greece and followed this:
1. Place the LEOIMG.nbh on a 8GB or smaller microSD card. DONE
2. Remove the battery cover and press the Reset button.DONE
3. Hold the Volume Down and End Call (power) buttons at the same time.DONE
4. As soon as "Searching..." appears on the screen, release the Volume Down button. Searching is not showing

Im using 2Gb brand new and formated in FAT32

In that case it must be the leoimg.nbh, extract it again. (not just renaming the .exe are you? Wouldn't be the first)

I have extracted the nbh file and renamed it to LEOIMG.nbh yes! tonight i"ll try leoimg.nbh ...

Hi,
The "serial" should change to "USB".
The main reason this is NOT happening,is when your pc/laptop is missing certain drivers.
These are obtained from Activesync in XP,and WMDC in Windows 7.
Make sure you have the lastest versions,and try again.

4k (4096) alocation size? probably shouldnt matter, but worth checking everything, and since we are checking basics, do a full format, not a quick format.

Hi,
Extract with winrar or 7z the RUU_Leo_HTC_****************************_Ship.exe
find the larger *.nbh file and rename it to leoimg.nbh and place this file on an sd card that is 4gb or less
and reboot to bootloader (the one with 4 colors,hold volume down button until you see "SEARCHING")
follow the instructions from there
If the leoimg.nbh is on the root of your sd card,it will start itself.
Just follow the onscreen instructions.

does you phone got hot during update... try this: take out battery, sim card, memory card and put in fridge for 5-10 min - first put phone in a bag to protect for water, and then immediately try updating again.

It really gets a little hot. And i"ve noticed that when i remove the battery and put it back, connect the charger and light LED turns on but the phone never charges to full .... if it has something to do with the reflash

I have a Verizon Galaxy Note 3 that i purchased from my brother. Theres no issues with IMEI or insurance or cancelled past due accounts. I pop in my Tmobile unlimited LTE sim card and i get LTE speeds without rooting or switching to band 4. Every now and then it will revert back to HSPA Plus speed but rarely. %99 of the time its on LTE. Only thing i did was put the correct APN for Tmobile LTE. So its great that the Verizon Note 3 works right out the box for Tmobile LTE. I want to enable AWS and Band 4 anyway. So i Root the phone using the new Toweroot method which was as easy as clicking a link and thats it. The phone is rooted. Heres my problem: I try and enter the code in the dialpad the *#2766336837# and nothing happens. I re-enter the code and press send this time and i get the error message "Connection Problem or Invalid MMI Code" Why is this happening? Is there a prior step i am missing?? I read about efs/carrier switch to enable this from off to on but how do i access it?? Please note that the tmobile sim card is in the phone when i attempt to do this. Should there be a verizon sim in to do this??
All the help would be appreciated.

Samsung disabled most of the dialer codes for the Note 3, including the service menu.

1- I'm not sure what is this code used for, but it seems the correct code is 27663368378, not 2766336837 (?)
2- Do you have a screenshot if this code was entered successfully? If yes, I can make a shortcut directly to this feature without entering the code.
3- Anyway, you can enable the hidden menu by follow this guide:
3.1- Make sure the file hiddenmenu.apk is present in the /system/app/ folder.
3.2- Install Terminal Emulator from the Play Store.
3.3- Enter the following commands:

echo -n ON > /efs/carrier/HiddenMenu
3.4- Reboot your device.
3.5- Try to enter these codes: *#06#, *#0011#, *#27663368378# (my suggested code) OR *#2766336837# (your original code) and see if it works.

Thanks. This method worked I am now able to access the service menu and change to band 4 but I noticed that band 4 was already active so much for that.

After oreo screen flashes white and minimised, battery errors

I am on stock 8.0 after the update during a call the phone buzzed and made a loud sound like a siren. After the crash I used it and got message of abnormal restart. I decided to hard reset it. The phone buzzed for about 30 seconds at least and then booted giving me an error uDove to send to HTC. I sent the error and updated all apps to set up.
1. Since then whenever I wake up the phone with the fingerprint or open an app the current window goes white and gets minimised as an app would do. Or as if a pop up goes on and gets closed by an adblock (in desktop).
2. I noticed also lags in performance and battery drain.
All my apps are basic and from play store (major publishers and no games at all) With HTC support I used the phone in Safe mode and no problems where observed. I thought it was htc sense update that was causing the issues however it is not the case. I am lost and do not know what to do. The phone is annoying to use and 4 hard and soft resets did not improve anything.
I ran every check with the HTC utility and nothing significant was reported (all passed ok), During the following hardresets the bootloader gives error

Looks like partitions map is damaged (hard to read the photo). My educated guess is that you either get a RUU from HTC and let the phone recover everything fresh or unlock boot loader and install custom ROM.
Can you use superuser rights via adb in the HTC recovery mode?

HTC is sadly ignoring/abandon the U Ultra. Pity.
NVM
RUU is ROM Update Utility - it is an HTC format for update packages. Sadly, Oreo hasn't been made available by HTC.
Since (presuming) you are still under warranty (no unlocked bootloader etc.) I advise to hit the HTC service center and tell them that their OTA went wrong.
Alternatively I could only think of unlocking the bootloader and doing the fix yourself.

Whitch CID do You have? Is it single sim or dual?

I as an update the phone is getting worse the more I use it. I screen blacks out for few seconds and then back to normal. Something like voltage issues. If anyone knows the UK repair service I would appreciate the details. They are not responding e-mails and chat is not helpful at all.
It is bought with UK plug so I assume it is the ones in UK?

So. You have nothing to lose. Try to copy OTA to SD card. Clear Cache and Apply update from SD Card. Maybe it Will help...

Hello everyone, after buying a new device (huawei) and after 4 visits to the repair center my phone seems to be replaced with another one. unfortunately the battery was changed and it is worse than ever (after a hard reset it says it was last fully charged 223days ago.
I solved the problem by doing a hard reset and not updating the google app. My last reported version (installed by HTC) is 7.17.28.21.arm64 (my device is HTC U ULTRA but same problem). After this everything else runs smoothly etc.
I believe it relates to new features of the app that change completely how it manages the device
• Use voice commands while navigating – even when your device has no connection. Try saying "cancel my navigation" "what's my ETA?" or "what's my next turn?"
• Weak connection? If your search fails, the Google app will deliver you results once you regain connection.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues with more helpful error cards when your search fails because your device is offline
• New customization options available for cards in your feed

Strange situation or invalid sim card inserted

Hello.
I bought att s8 active (G892A) on ebay with google lock and clean IMEI
I removed google lock by Combination file and new Firmwares so now phone works.
But when I insert a sim card the phone gives me a mistake: invalid sim card inserted, this sim card is not supported (picture attached)
I tried it with two different sim card from different operators.
If go to settings in network operators and press search networks I can find all available networks in my country (I'm from Ukraine) but I can't connect to any.
I tried this phone in Russia with Russian operator sim card it's still can't find the network but at this time no mistake appears (maybe it would find network if I would wait more) and I tried in few minutes sim card with Kazakhstan operator and it worked network was found.
Also do not work service numbers as #*06# etc. When I enter them and press call button I receive message: network not available.
Please help I'm looking for solving this problem in network for days and nothing!

It's because the device is SIM locked to AT&T. You will probably have to find a paid service or such to unlock it.

When you put an invalid SIM in it should pop up
If not maybe like a shortcut master or something to the perso hidden menu

IMEI issue
If the *#06# is giving you an error and the SIM cards aren't working, I'm going to say your CP / Radio partition has been corrupted. Try re-flashing just the CP

If the *#06# is giving you an error and the SIM cards aren't working, I'm going to say your CP / Radio partition has been corrupted. Try re-flashing just the CP

But it I tried sim card with Kazakhstan operator and it worked network was found.
