[Q]LG G2 re-flashing or rooting stock 4.4.2 bad rom

Hi all,
First off I've tried now for a two days to solve this, reading as much as I could find on here and the rest of the internet.
I decided to root my LG D802 running 4.2 and install CWM recovery no problem. Next I flashed a stock 4.4.2 vodaphone img. All went well untill i tried to use the touch screen, which shows that when i press on one point on the screen it selects multiple points basically its unusable and unable to do almost anything with it, however i have managed to turn on ADB and connect to the phone. So now i have a stock recovery and an unusable ROM.
So next up I tried to rooting it since I had ADB shell working ok, using the IOROOT25. This appears to work as when it reboots and installs the kkroot.zip in the recovery it's saying it worked. Now when I reboot and open ADB shell then type SU to get root I can't press ok when superuser pops up to asking me to give it permission, because of the touch screen problem.
If i can get root in ADB then remount the files system then i will be able to DD a new recovery img??
After getting this far and loosing, I then found this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476 on flashing to stock, but the program crashes every time it's about to flash, so i tried doing a fresh install of windows 7 and then tried windows 8 however the program still crashes every time and yes I have followed the instructions and tried the manual method and checking the 127.0.0.0. lgblahblah is there
So no I am turning to you guys for help.

UPADATE: I have root but getting this error when trying to flash the recovery:
+] loki_flash v2.0
[-] Loki aboot version does not match device.
any ideas?
Ok so i found a different aboot img pushed to the phone and flashed that using dd
Code:
dd if=/data/local/tmp/about.img of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/aboot
this solved the problem above and a allowed me to flash cwm recovery. This then broke the installed rom so it wouldn't boot. now I had a custom recovery i flashed a EUR open 16gb stock zip this all went well and now i have a working phone What i should of done is remove the stock recovery.img from the zip and the line to flash it in the update script so it didn't flash the stock recovery.
This now leaves me with the loki flash problem above when trying to flash a custom recovery i could flash a different aboot.img but i don't want to break the current rom.
Any one else found a way to solve this problem?

i have pretty much the same as your first problem, i installed the vodafone kitkat and the touch went crazy
and the custom recovery was deleted
and the lg support tool doesnt work for me
i dont know what to do.
sorry i forgot to mention that my phone is lg g2 d802 16 GB

Have you tried running IO root to again root on your device? Also do you know much about linux, command line and android tools like ADB? Or do I need to explain the commands step by step?

i downloaded ioroot25 and extracted it and ran root.bat
Looking for device...
Make sure drivers are installed. Check Windows Device Manager.
Make sure proper USB Debugging mode is enabled.
Verizon users make sure ethernet mode is selected.
Did you check phone screen for Yes/No prompt?
(select checkbox to always remember then hit yes)
...sometimes you need to unplug the USB cable then re-plug.
Determining device model...
Rebooting into stock recovery...
When recovery loads, select: *apply update from adb* with power button...
then press Enter/Return on your keyboard.
Press any key to continue . . .
(here the phone restarts and LG logo appears with (secure booting error)message in the upper left corner, and when i press any key)
Reboot back into System after flash in recovery finishes.
Press any key to continue . . .
and when pressing any key the cmd closes and the phone stays on with black screen and the back light on
in the pc i get many windows about formating drives (from H to S)
and i dont know anything about linux or command line
would you explain it to me??

Ok so your phone not longer boots, correct? Do you know what build/version plus any other details of the rom you flashed? or even a link so i can have a look at the rom you have installed. Can you get into recovery mode and is it still a stock recovery image? also what is your phone d802? 16gb 32gb?

If you're running root.bat as an admin, try executing it without admin privileges. Dunno why, but it seemed to work for me.

Did you try to flash CWM recovery? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2582142 This thread has What you need to do .. After then you can nandroid backup after then wipe everything except EFS on twrp after that you can stock_kitkat.zip on the xda forum. Efter that restore data via twrp.
I think that It will be correct without deleting your current rom ...

Hi! I've recently flashed an updated stock ROM and have the same Touchscreen issue as yourself! Can you tell me the steps you have done to fix it? I'm using windows 8.1 to flash etc, and using a stock ROM I can't seem to get it to work again

[Q] Bricked LG D802 stuck in lg logo

So im stucked in the LG logo.
i installed TWRP in kit kat and when i booted it was stuck in the logo.
i can go into recovery or the download mode.
so i tried to use adb sideload but it always says, cannot read update.zip
Is there any other metod? already tried cmd and some toolkit 1.5 to do it but always the same
i tried also to use in download mode the flastool, but doesnt recognize the phone
can u please help???

i found a solution and wanted to share with everyone who could be having the same problem (sorry for my english)
so a couldnt use download mode because my computer wasnt accepting the phone in the lg app (mobile support tool)
in recovery the adb sideload wasn t working and coudnt read the file so what i did was this:
installed sdk manager
and where i had my adb.exe e puted there the rom i wanted to flash.
my path was like this: C:\android\sdk\platform-tools
in my phone i entered recovery mode and didnt select anything else, connected to the computer
in my computer i opened cmd as administrator, i dont know if this is important or not..
then in cmd i wrote the path where the the adb was and in the same place the rom: C:\android\sdk\platform-tools (in my case)
this is the important part, type:
C:\android\sdk\platform-tools>adb push rom.zip /sdcard/rom.zip
rom.zip is the name of the file, you should put the one u have, thean it should take a little, at first it lokes like its doing nothin, just thinking but its really copyng the file to your phone, than it appears the size of the file its just copied and its done, now u gow to your phone and the ropm.zip in in there, now you just have to flash it and reboot.

[SOLVED][HELP] Lg G2 is stuck at cwm recovery

Dear people of xda,
Recenlty ive receive a FOTA update to my device which runs 4.2.2. Being stupid, i did the update although i had cwm recovery installed on my devices. Now my device keeps bootlooping into cwm without being able to do anything.
Ive read tons of threads talking about this issue but i still cant get my to boot normally.
Yingy in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2563527 had the same problem but the only diffrence is my pc cant recognize my device in order to do the adb fix by thecubed.
Im plugging my G2 for the first time in this computer and that is why i think my pc is failing to install drivers. I downloaded and instellad latest driver although windows device manger shows error devices not detected and the end of the process.
In order to fix my phone i just need to make me pc recognize my phone in adb although phone was never plugged before to this pc so i think my G2 wont let it access. I tried installing universal driver such as Pdanet as offered in threat but still when i write adb devices in cmd i get device offline!
Download latest adb drviers, lates lg g2 driver, lg user support tool does not recognize plugged device as well. All me sdk manger tools are patched to latest version.
PLEASE ive tried anything possible. spend like 9 hours and still nothing. i would really appriciate your help.

Edit: here my problem with pdanet drivers, it asks me to allow pc usb debbuging as shown in screenshot below but icant do it since im stuck at cwm recovery!

Solved!
BOOM!! after 12 hours i FINALLY manged to solved this problem. Really simple actually lol.
If anyone come across the issue please do the following:
1. Go to clockwork recovery as always, go to install zip from sdcard, choose install zip from sideload.
2. Plug your phone to pc.
3. Run adb with lastest drivers and sdk tools.
4. At the adb folder press shift+right click and start cmd.
5. write adb devices it should show your device id like this (xxxxxxxxx sideload).
6.Download latest twrp recovery from here http://teamw.in/project/twrp2/197 and if you have open europe version G2 like me download latest version from here: http://techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/g2d802
7.put the zip file in the adb folder, do not unzip it.
8. write in cmd console adb sideload xxxx.zip (xxxx is the name of twrp file).
9. cwm will flash twrp recovery over cwm.
10. reboot in recovery in advanced options.
11. now you have twrp recovery.

13. THATS IT!!!
finally after going through this mess, im never using cwm recovery again. twrp is the best

Hello from Greece,
I need HELP guys i have buy the model Elife E8 from China and its not in multilanguage.Have only Chinese and English.
Also there is no Google Apps and as far i have try to download google plays store cant make it work.LAst time i install it but when i m trying to open app just dont open so,what i need is becasue the same model there is 100% in multilanguage for India and Romania i need to make it same.And of course to can donwload Appd from google play as facebook,youtube,viber and others.
I forgot to tell you that i try to root but until now all Root apps that i have try can not root the device.
So pls if someone can help me step by step to make it work!!

Before you start anything please read all the tutorials.

To flash Rom
Use Sp Flash Tool to flash Rom on your device.
You have all the needed files in the Rom archive.

To install TWRP
Go to official TWRP page and download twrp-3.0.x.x-xxx.img file for Allview X2 Xtreme (aka Gionee Elife E8). Keep twrp-3.0.x.x-xxx.img file in a separate folder.
Your PC must have ADB & fastboot installed and configured. For quick installation try 15 Second ADB installer http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=48915118#post48915118
Now connect your device to your PC and goto twrp folder and press and hold shift then right click on white space and "Open command window here".
Now type following commands at command prompt.
"adb reboot bootloader" - to boot your device into bootloader.
after booting into bootloader type "fastboot flash recovery twrp-2.8.x.x-xxx.img" - this will flash TWRP recovery on your Gionee Elife E8.
"fastboot reboot" - to reboot your device.
After reboot type "adb reboot recovery" - to boot into recovery mode.
To root the device
Put Super Su in the root of your internal storage.
In TWRP from your device install/flash UPDATE-SuperSU-vX.XX.zip
Congratualtions, you have successfully rooted your device and installed TWRP.
I will not take any responsibility on whatever may happen with your phone.

cant install recovery or rom on yureka plus

i got yureka plus not rooted or anything ... so today i tried to root it n install custom revovery n rom ....
firstly tried yureka tool box app from here .. i unlocked bootloader but fone didnt restarted automaticaly n the software said waiting for device after everything but have to reboot manually ..
then i installed twrp recovery n again rebooted manually n closed software n restarted software again each time ....
then i tried to root but after that it got soft bricked ...
so then tried to get it back n finally got it back to life
then tried to unlock bootloader with same yureka tool box which did its job well
then i tried to install recovery with adb but it didnt installed n tried toolbox n adb many times but wasnt able to flash the recovery
then tried to install new rom with the official recovery but it failed also :/

Okay, so i guess you followed a tutorial and it didn't work. Dont worry.
download the drives first for your device link :- https://androidmtk.com/download-yu-usb-driver
download adb platform tools:- https://dl.google.com/android/repository/platform-tools-latest-windows.zip
download recovery:- https://dl.twrp.me/tomato/
copy the recovery in the directory where you have extracted adb platform tools, and press shift+right click open command window here. and put your device into fastboot mode.
then type fastboot -i 0x1ebf oem unlock
fastboot -i 0x1ebf flash recovery name_of recovery.img
p.s do not use folder with space like "New folder" instead use "New_folder" in every directory. or else do it on your desktop and remove spaces if any on all folders.
if your device is bricked then first unbrick and follow this procedure.

prob was solved when i repaired my imei n then everything worked good but now m struck on one thing .. fone is running n everything is good but whenever i try to flash super user file then after that i get to rom booting logo but it never starts

This is because you either using old recovery or old gapps or Su binary which is not compatible with your rom. which rom you are using? use Su 2.78 or su2.76 they are compatible with every rom, dont flash su in those roms who have already su.

i got su 2.46 .. and one more i tried from yureka toolbox ... and rom i have is slim rom .. also tried on lineage rom also

Don't try from toolbox, flash it from recovery. 2.46.
And lineage is not officially available fr tomato. Tho if you want to flash su on lineage its something different. Download root package they provide on their official website. Check it.
