1. Flash one custom recovery (TWRP, CWM or Philz) through ODIN.
2. Wipe all and flash again the stock firmware 4.2.2.

Flashable Stock N9005 Kernel

My battery life has took a serious turn for the worse every since experimenting with a few different kernels, I'd really like to go back to stock 4.3 n9005 kernel. I did factory reset, but as suspected that didn't return the kernel.
Please help.

Installed the pre-rooted rom in that thread and now stuck in a boot loop :/
Cant get out of this boot loop, still have access to TWRP but cannot do anything from there
Have you tried booting into recovery and clearing data. Do you have a backup? I don't no Twrp verywell as use cwm but I think its under wipe.

If boot loop happen after u flash the kernel than u flashed the wrong 1. Need to match with the firmware u're using. Try other custom kernel for 4.3. If u really planning to flash the whole rom then there is no need for custom kernel

[Q] I have both TWRP and CWM recovery on S4

I have stock ROM Android version 4.4.2 and have rooted my device using CF-autoroot, I flashed the img file of CWM 6.0.3.2 using the app Flashify and was then asked "ROM may flash stock recovery on boot. Fix?" when rebooting to system and answered with "Yes - Disable recovery flash". When the device rebooted I was returned to CWM and everytime I reboot I return to CWM so I flashed TWRP using ODIN, yet when I reboot I return to CWM and can only reach TWRP if I click on Advanced>reboot to recovery.
What should I do?
Flash the whole stock firmware and start from beginning. When you have rooted again, flash cwm or twrp via odin.
^ What he said.
I think you messed up your bootloader. Had a similar issue on an Galaxy S Advance. Flashing a bootloader solved the issue

Untick auto reboot. Manually turn off phone after recovery flash. Then use 3 buttons to get into recovery.
If the phone prompts to install stock recovery when you're exiting the custom recovery, choose no(can't remember whether this menu still available in note 3, maybe other phone)
Another way is download cistom flashable twrp then as rosli mentioned to uncheck auto reboot when flashing twrp then once done disconnect and boot to recovery then in recovery flash the flashable twrp

A500FU problem after moving from cm13 to stock

Hello,
I did have CM13 installed on sm-a500fu and wanted to go back to stock rom. Downloaded right version (TWO-A500FUXXU1BOJ6-20151119145810 - 5.02. )) and flash process was without problem (ODIN) .Then i wanted twrp back and i cant do this no matter which version of twrp i use(twrp2.8.7.0-a5ultexx-19082015.tar,twrp-2.8.7.0-a5ultexx-20082015.tar). Recovery flash goes ok but cannot enter recovery.
Phone is always on Samsung logo
My suggestion is to flash again stock ROM, boot in stock recovery and wipe data/factory reset. Reboot to stock ROM normaly and after that you have to follow the steps to root and install twrp as mentioned in the other thread dedicated to it (I assumed you did that once when you flashed CM13).
In fact that's what I did on my phone...
Flash full stock and once done do a factory reset in stock recovery, do this 3 times, then flash twrp.

ODIN don't flash well the system

Hi,
When I flash the Stock ROM downloaded from Sammobile, I flash that and everything it's ok, but when it boots, it's appear the SystemUI and the theme of my previous Custom ROM (based on Stock), but the sound of notification are the Stock ones. (Obviously) the SystemUI does FC and I can't use my phone. I don't now what I'm doing wrong.
Please, help me.
Thank you in advance.

After the stock rom is flashed, perform factory data reset from the recovery.
Something is wrong with my phone, because now I can't flash the TWRP, the problem it's the same, but boots the stock recovery. I don't understand, when the last month I flash the same TWRP with no problems and in the same mode...

If the theme that was on your custom rom was official from samsung themes then it restored after you intalled stock. Because you installed stock rom, have you enabled oem unlock from dev. settings before installing custom rec through odin? And do a factory reset.

Check the os version before flashing and make sure it is for your model only

If you want to install twrp recovery you should unlick Auto reboot in Odin then turn off your phone after you flashed the recovery and then press vol up + home + power button together to go to recovery mode.
