[Q] Defy not working after usb connected to a usb power problem pc

i had to connect defy to one of my friends pc to charge my defy. wen i connect it a usb power issue pop up message came on pc, and defy restart itself. I suddenly remove usb from pc. But my defy not starting. Its loaded with WajkUI 2.4.20.
And wen i start defy, its showing the boot animation and screen turns off before get into the locked phone screen. So i wipe cache and dalvik cache(which i only know), i could get into the locked screen, but its not responding and screen went off after some seconds...
What do i do now?

i know how to charge my mobile dude... it was an emergency... mobile charge was low... why do i need usb driver to charge defy with usb via pc...?
if u cant help pls dont troll me...
somebody out here might know the solution.... pls do assist me... thanks...

tried with charged battery, but the locked phone screen appears and is not responding...
can i flash it again or just do a data wipe?
cant do above two cuz i havent done any backup.... can i take backup anyway? i just need contacts....

Yes, u can make a backup in CWM.
If the backup is build, flash a clean OS and restore the contacts with Appextractor or RomToolBox or whatever.

Defy+ can not charge

I'm using CM9 (Quarx build) and sometime it can not charge with adapter, charge with PC is OK.
When charge with adapter it show charging icon but do not charge, I must plug and unplug or remove battery sometime until it charge.
I try many way for this problem (restore original ROM, flash SBF, wipe battery, but it can not resolve)
anyone help me ?

Is my Defy dead?
I was messing around in recovery mode and formatted internal memory by mistake now my defy is completely dead. See below for symptoms;
It doesn't turn on, no bootloader, no recovery..
No function Power + Vol+/-.
LED does not light with or without usb.
Only when I connect it to my PC (windows 7 x64) and insert the battery, is there any kind of response makes the same sound as it does when a plug and play device is connected, but off again at 2-3 seconds. Tries to install OMAP3630 drivers but fails saying device is unplugged. (see attached image) Have installed latest Latest Motorola Handset drivers to no avail.
RSD Lite 5.5 (ran in adminstrator mode) does not show device, not even a white LED as mentioned in other posts.
Tried using the Macgyver method to 'jump start' in order for RSD Lite to detect phone no difference.
Any help would be greatly appreciated ?

I assume so. Although I didn't have any need too at the time but do now.

I'm asking the question since there may be a driver problem. Although another person like you had mistakenly formatted internal memory and was unable to resurrect it. So you have really slim chances, if any at all.

battery bug

i faced a bug in cm yesterday night i switched off my phone at 95% battery taday i opened it battery was only 81% then automatically it was rising currently also it is rising now it is at 89% this is a very bad bug help me to solve it.
please tell how to fix this bug now i am facing this bug in every cm based rom i am also unable to connect my y with pc.

Have you tried fully charging phone then wiping battery stats in cwm - fully discharge then fully charge again
there's no bug for connecting phone to pc with percys cm7 so it's either your cable or pc

my cable is fully working in stock rom it connects
edit-: now it is not working in stock rom but my usb cable and usb port is working because i flashed stock rom via odin without any problem.

Motorola Defy MB526 stuck with a custom ROM

Hi everyone. I just bought a Motorola defy mb526 and I realized that it have a custom ROM and I tried to install the original ROM but when i connect it to my pc (Laptop Windows 7 x64 with the latest Motorola drivers and RSD Lite 6.2.4) it not appears in RSD Lite. I can't charge it with the charger so i have to connect te battery to a battery charger. When the phone is on Windows can't detect the phone either in any place.
I enter the bootloader with this methods and still have the same problem:
-Power + Vol Up
-Vol Up + Insert battery
I can access the Android System Recovery at least but i don't know how to fix this problem
I just try with my main computer (Windows 10 x64 latest dirvers and RSD Lite) but no luck either
