Can someone please help me - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Yesterday I updated my Rogers LG G2, I was rooted and had exposed installed, the install didn't work, the download did but then I hit install and now its stuck on a black screen with
Fastboot mode started
udc_start()
I was informed by a Rogers guy that I didn't have a OS anymore, I tried to reboot the phone and also tried to go into download mode, the phone isn't allowing me to do either.
What can I do?

Looks to me like you flashed a rom containing wrong kernel, or no kernel at all (so you can choose your variant).
Try looking in rom thread for your phone version

Really? ya it was the 4.4.2 kitkat update from Rogers that I downloaded and installed, now its not working

[Q] Help with Bricked LG G2

Hello Everyone,
I've been looking around and can't seem to find any guide I can get to work.
A couple months ago, I rooted my LG G2 and installed Cyanogen mod successfully. After a couple days, for some reason I restored to a backup I made back before I installed Cyan, so it was just on the Stock OS. A couple days later my phone tried to update itself and it bricked it. I was an idiot and wiped everything for some reason so theres nothing on there but the LG logo and then it goes to TWRP.
So now I'm not quite sure what to do. I can adb push and sideload just fine, but I've tried pushing a zip with the stock OS and installing it but everytime it just says it failed. Ive also pushed cyan on again and it says successfully installed and then just goes back to TWRP again. Can anyone help me with what to do from here? Do I need a certain tool to re install the OS? Will pushing it and then installing it with TWRP not work?
thanks!
Reflash lg g2 stock rom .
Sent from my GT-I9300 using XDA Free mobile app
How would I go about flashing the stock rom?
Ive been trying to use this guide
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476
But every time I try to use the "Automatic offline procedure" I get an error saying permission denied. I made sure the drivers and everything were installed
Any ideas?
Right click - Run as administrator.
Or do it manually
https, window enabler..etc.
Alright, so I was able to do it manually, but in the instructions it says to enable usb debugging. Just to clarify my phone is basically stuck in TWRP, so will this even work?
My comp doesnt even recognize my phone as an LG G2 it says something like ADB galaxy nexus.

That's ok.
Open cmd line where your adb is. Put some rom inside.
Let's say the rom is : mycoolrom.zip
adb push mycoolrom.zip /sdcard/mycoolrom.zip
then flash it.

I did this, but like I said in the original post when I try to flash it, it just says failed every time. Ive tried files from all over and they all fail. Could you point me in the right direction of one that might work?
Thanks
You didn't mention download mode.
Try powering off the device, hold volume up and connect to pc ?
Is the download mode at least working ?

Nope, no matter what I do it just goes to TWRP
And just to be clear it pushes over fine, and the zip is on the phone, its just when I try to flash it on TWRP it says failed. the last error code just said unable to open Zip

D800 I'm sure it's bricked, just want clarification

Alright, so I'm stuck in boot loop, the only recovery I can boot into is stock, which doesn't help obviously. I can't get into download mode, and my computer doesn't detect it. Just tell me the bad news.
Have you removed the LG drivers completely and reinstalled them? How did you get into the bootloop in the first place?

Let me see.. If by download mode you mean the blue dots(circles) then - no, you're not in download mode. But if you can enter teh real download mode (it should go past the circles) then you can flash it ( you should be able to flash it).
More info please.

There's a lot of info in his previous posts. We went through hell and back trying to fix it. Hopefully you can give some better guidance.

Damn. I've read "I CAN get into download mode and ...." :/

one question : how did you brick it ?
Let me copy paste my previous three posts.
"When I originally tried to install TWRP, I was rooted in a stock rom, or whatever you call it when you're rooted and haven't installed a rom yet. When I tried originally, I went through CWM and installed it through that, but whenever I rebooted into recovery, I got the android with the caution sign in its chest. I kept trying to install it, and eventually I believe I used the flashify app to install it(the version I believe was 2.6.3.3) and I tried to boot again and it went into a boot loop, and began making a bunch of drives. I used this http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2582142to get me into TWRP, and it worked. Problem is, I have no roms, no backups, no download mode, and my computer only recognizes my phone as 'g2'. I tried to install adb drivers manually so that the computer would recognize it as an adb device, but it gave me error:closed, and that's where we are right now. Quite a hole I have dug myself into, huh?"
"Ok, so I went back into linux -- I have dual boot for windows 7 and ubuntu -- and for some reason adb worked there, so I was able to adb sideload a cwm .img. But of course, I got excited because I thought it would just fix it but now I'm stuck in fastboot mode, and still can't get into download mode."
"I tried it, and now it is stuck in a bootloop and isn't detected by my computer. Only thing I can boot into is stock recovery. Looks like this is the end of my G2.."
I truly do think there's nothing that can be done, just from a logical standpoint. It isn't detected by anything on the computer and can only boot stock recovery which doesn't help at all. I do appreciate the help, though.

[SOLVED] CAN'T ENTER DOWNLOAD/BOOTLOADER MODE AFTER 20f UPDATΕ-UNROOTED STOCK ROM

CAN'T ENTER DOWNLOAD/BOOTLOADER MODE AFTER 20f UPDATΕ-UNROOTED STOCK ROM
So here is the deal.I was rooted running cm12 lollipop ROM everything fine. However i decided to sell the phone (INTERNATIONAL LG G2 D802 16GB MODEL) and i wanted to clear it from "ROOTED" flag on download mode.I flashed a JB ROM (checked by my IMEI) with LG flashtool following exactly the instructions, the flag went to "UNROOTED" and then i tryed to bring the phone to KITKAT 20h update which is the last current firmware for my phone. In between JB rom and 20h update there are around 5 OTA updates. After every OTA update i was factory resetingX2 and rebooting to download mode to check if everything is fine (flag and proper boot to download mode).Everything was fine but after 2 or 3 OTA updates (when i was in KITKAT-20f update) i couldnt boot to download mode.Checked usb ports, multiple cables, multiple threads and sites to resolve the problem but nothing.Just to know the phone works perfect-the dialer trick with 3845#*802# shows UNROOTED and have no issue.ROOT checker also says i m not rooted and i have no custom recovery installed. Also all the drivers are installed. And one last thing. When i rooted 20h and installed TWRP recovery with AUTOREC i could boot to download mode with vol+/incert cable combination.
So my question is: Did LG change the combination of the button needed to press in order to enter download mode ((device powered off, then volume up+connect cable which is connected to pc)something like this happened with factory reset screen-lg changed the combination after an update) or there is something else going on?
No, no combo change, it's the same one.
If needed, you can use lg mobile support tool and its option "upgrade error recovery" (i don't know exactly option name in english language)
No download/bootloader mode after 20f update

I ve done that and now i can boot normally to download mode but the status changed to ROOTED.Is there a solution for that?Except going back to JB and OTA update the phone-i ve done it a million times and after 20f update i can't boot to bootloader.
And a tip ***Soon after the flashtool downloaded the firmware (after i pressed "Recovery Update") the phone rebooted to download mode normally and with UNROOTED flag.Have no idea what is going on but i m not selling this this thing in this condition -_-
You just have to move two files, rct-something. I'm currently at the hospital with my father so I can help you out much. There's a guide on the forums I'm sure.

[Q] LG G2 ATT stuck in security error boot loop

I tried to flash android l onto my lg g2 but when i did it only booted into fast boot mode so i did some thing where i went into cmd and transferred img files and removed the phones files. This is where i went wrong. Now i can only boot into download mode and security error bootloop. So what i did first is i tried to flash the dll through lg flash tools and there was a model error so i used this other file as the dll which ignored the model number and all i get is an error. I have has this for like a month and i sent my phone to lg twice and they didn't fix anything. I really screwed up and need help PLEASEE!!!

Does your download mode screen have 5 blue dots on it? Or does it say 'firmware update' with a couple arrows and a progress bar sitting at 0%

Well that seems fortunate. You flashed the wrong rom initially so the phone is being recognized as a different variant. Do you know what you specifically flashed that caused all these issues?

Fixed fully bricked phone LG G2 d802 32GB

Lg g2 D802 32GB
Got my phone bricked once when trying to install lollipop rom.
After successfuly restoring it and getting the 16GB error and fixing it I restored to stock 4.2.2 and in recovery accidently installed the KK bootloader and rebooted instead of installing the rom.
No download mode.
No recovery.
First phone booted and then the screen turned off and was only sounds (Booting in, connecting to pc, etc.)
Now nothing.
the only thing I managed to enter is the Hard button mode....
I tried every forum, thread, files, method mentioned exept the "Open the phone to pieces and tinker with it" method mentioned here somewhere.
If there is some hope for me before going to a repair shop and hopefully someone there smarter than me and can actually fix it... would really appreceate every advice you might have on the matter.
Thank you.
I here by declare the LG g2 D802 32GB UNbrickable
What I did to fix it.
Some of it I dont understand...
My specs:
Windows 8.1 64 bit
Ubuntu 64bit on Vmware
lg g2 drivers(mixed, I had pdanet drivers, adb drivers so not sure which)
What i did:
1- adb devices on windows
Seen what I have in the picture
adb reboot recovery/bootloader/reboot/fastboot
Until I saw some writings and phone entered this state:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2582142
Using this files:
(because its a 32GB variant) in ubuntu I did the instructions
http://www.mediafire.com/download/3qyac22qat2aucj/D802_20B32GB.zip
then unplugged phone
Fully power off
Hold volume up button
DOWNLOAD MODE.
And from there its all history....
Hope it helps someone here

Stay calm buddy, LG G2 is unbrickable, I had the same problem, I thought that I have bricked it, but fix was simple, I had only download mode, but KDZ restore stucked, what I did was just wait some time, cause LG flash tool has some problems with loading files, it just takes some time, so load it from your folder(kdz) , then wait some time and after that just start it, then you have to be patient cause it takes some time, I experienced some errors too, so just dont unplug it and wait, relax, it works
I have D802 32gb czech version
I flashed v30a Italy version and it works
just flash the right version

No it doesn't, i have ADB, i know how to use it, i already saved one D800 that was in Fastboot.
Problem is, i used the debrick method, i succeeded, but now the device is recognized as LG but the screen stays black. It's acting a bit weird, it flashes with LG FLASH TOOL, although i believe it's not even in Download mode, but the screen keeps staying black.
Stuck at logo
