Just updated mine HK SM-P605 and finally lazy Sammy fixed some of the issues.
- That 2 sec lag waking screen from sleep is instant now.
- Screen jitter reduced, but still noticeable and better then before when it behave like it had epilepsy .
- Multitouch fixed? Havent checked, just that all talking about 30 sec icon drop thing have been fixed.
- The tab feels snappier and faster.
Might be more been fixed and dont have time to check all.
Gonna upload to mine GDrive after finished dl the whole firmware from slow Terafile. 66% left and still over 1H left to dl. >_<

Thanks for the heads up. I just installed it and can confirmed what you stated.
The wake screen lag is definitely gone and the tablet 'feels' faster. :good:
If anyone wonders the root status after the update, yes, you need to root it again. The OTA update (~64MB) does not work on my P605 even I tricked the system status to "Official". I need to download the whole image and flash it through Odin. No need to reinstall everything though.
Thanks for supplying a decent mirror. Flashing shortly.
I think i got this update via OTA just now.
Country: Latvia (Europe)
Update size: 64~Mb (NOT a KitKat update ofc)
Before update: JSS15J.P605XXUBMJ9
After update: JSS15J.P605XXUBNB2
Dropbox link with screenshots of "About phone" section before and after update (build numbers, kernel versions etc.: https://www.dropbox.com/sc/9fj520chbnvap8g/Kaa4YHRcCz
Iam not rooted (and never have been on this device), but this OTA file is somewhere on my device and i can find it (without rooting), feel free to tell me in witch directory i should search it for and i can upload it instantly.
Edit: About update:
-Unlock lag isnt gone, but its got better, but still its noticable.
-got some bloat (Forbes app and Lilla or something)
- writing with lag is more or less gone (but still not as snapy as my note3)
Thats after minor testing, but at least for my taste no huge improvements.

CF-Autoroot... Go to the original android dev forum and look for auto-root p600. DON'T flash this cf-autoroot as it's for the exynos version and can kill your Note P605. You want the link to Chainfire's site, look up the P605 model and flash with ODIN.
This will trigger Knox...

on the other hand it is funny how those english firmwre was awaited and advertised by samsung england, undergoing tests and other crap

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------EDITED 5pm CST
EDIT: so far through this thread we have learned a few things.
1. The cellular south flash on sam mobile site is the XAR flash which is the original 4.3 US
2. The new update for US is 4.4.2 comes in at 540MB
Build number: KOT49H.P600UEUCND2
Kernel Version: 3.4.39-1146904 Sat, Apr 12th 2014
3. New icons throughout the KitKat update:
New multiwindow,
new notifications drop down window,
smaller notification icons,
all white notification icons,
definately more responsive,
multiwindow tab is gone but hold down back arrow and it appears,
multiwindow allows for a 2 app paired icon creation for easy open
-----------------------------EDIT APRIL 25TH 345 AM
We now have reports of fixing the COO update by using Kies or by downloading the Sam Mobile Cellular South ND2 4.4.2.
Thanks everyone for contributing to this thread!
The update is coming in at 540MB and the download is slow.
The reason I waited for this OTA update is because those that flashed the COO 4.4.2 in the US/North America region might not ever get back to the proper region without a full official flash. When I looked at the sammobile firmwares there were zero 4.3 versions with a North America region on it. So I doubt we will see our 4.4.2 full flash either.
Good Luck to those that did flash the COO region update.

Not sure yet, only 75% downloaded.
Region COO being Colombia is not US from what I have read over the last 5 days.
If I ever have to sell or warranty the unit, I foresee an easier attempt to do either with the proper region.
Yep, noticed I'm getting it as well here in Northern VA
There was an "full flash" MK1 US update, so there will be a KitKat firmware available. Everything will be fine.

Total file size is 549.37 MB. It is most definitely Kit Kat 4.4.2
The Samsung Sites both official and non, show ZERO Full flashes for the SM-P600 wifi only model at 4.3
That was what worried me about flashing to COO, if I cant find the original anywhere, how am I going to find the 4.4.2 full flash for U.S.
I am happy to report the update is 90% done.
If you want to see progress bar, just go into settings and general and about and software update and update now.

That's cool. It's difficult for me to say as I never got the update to the first 5.1.1 and was stuck on 5.0.2 and only yesterday did i get the update to 5.1.1
But so far battery life seems to be on par with 5.0.2 and I do notice that unlocking the lock screen and going into the home screen seems a tad faster.
is it worth to loose root? cos i'm still on 5.02 with Root Exploit [email protected] and i use Titanium Backup a lot

There is a new OTA update rolling out for Singapore, all CSC codes (XSP, SIN, STH, and MM1). The update is 144.2 MB. SamMobile also has the full firmware package.
PDA: N920IDVU2AOJ4
Baseband: N920IDVU2AOJ3
Build: LMY47X.N920IDVU2AOJ4
Android Version: 5.1.1
Changelog:
1. The stability of Call has been improved.
2. Battery usage optimisation
3. The security of your device has been improved.
Also, flashing this firmware seems to blow an eFuse (this is 2A vs 1A) so you most likely won't be able to downgrade after updating.
If updated the knox?

The changelog claims that the security policy is updated, so downgrades are impossible. So, yes, I'd venture to say Knox has been updated with this release.

Ok thanks ?
It seems to me the standby time is improved, as I live in a weak signal area, before the battery can down 5% in one hour just by sitting there, now it barely drops ?
Just updated this firmware OTA an hour ago. It somehow seems to fix my deep sleep issue
Will keep on monitoring and revert back
Phone seems to respond a bit faster too.
And total system ram usage also seems to lowered down.
Hoping this fixes my startup lag/freezing issue. So far so good over the last 24 hrs Those that did not get the update yet, you can download via samfirm or sammobile, and flash via odin v3.10.7
Changes in smart manager, battery section. Similar per app optimizations previously was in ram manager section of smart manager. However these seems different..

You don't necessarily need to wait for your phone to get an update, but you do need to wait for there to be updated N920G firmware somewhere in the world. At that point, you can flash. You just can't flash N920I firmware to an N920G.

Could someone perform a light debloat (Knox and related apps) to the new official roms (or explain how to do it step by step)?
Thanks in advance

Thank you for your help but my problem is not to flash an official rom but to prepare it removing knox and other unusefull bloatware (debloat) and then flash it

Yes, please, could someone check about the known issues? I've returned to 5.11, was totally frustrated.
Please check...
- Fingerprint
- random reboots
and report.
Thnx

Hmmmm mines re-rooted after flashing this new firmware??
Flashed RC-SuperSU-c2.73-20160517124156.zip
I have now flashed this new firmware N915FYXXU1DPI3, it too early to tell if it resolves any of the issues of the previous firmware....
What I can tell you at the moment is that the phone seems to be getting hot, but not sure if this is because the ROM is settling down....
Marshmallow update has been an absolute disaster....
I hope this update fixes things. ...
Okay been running this new update since yesterday, no reboots. It's still not fast and is still laggy.... Not good... My note 2 knocks it into a cocked hat for usability...
Sent from my SM-N915FY using XDA-Developers mobile app
I still have soft reboots... albeit less frequently

Okay since my last post and the new firmware has settled down it still does the same thing, random soft reboots, I also have an intermittent problem with bluetooth, it seems to loose where it's up to and then speeds the song up to catch up with what I think is the time stamp....also when using the camera app sometimes whe taking a photo the phone shuts down and I have to pull the battery to restart it.
Same problems....I am at the point of selling this phone now as it becoming unusable for me.
Whats also more annoying is recently I flashed my NOTE2 with a new Rom and my S4 with Nugget, both are way more responsive then the Note Edge
Feeling disillusioned...

I see your point, but since I have returned to 5.1.1 I am really happy with this phone. And with my old Note 10.1 LTE it was the same: No support, no updates, and after flashing a custom rom it is again my dayly driver for games, work and movies. Love the Note family although Samsung really works hard on destroiing their reputation on it. So, I will stay with my note and 5.1.1.
Thnx for testing!
Hi
Is anyone have another download link, like mega?
Thank you
