While flashing a kdz on my L5, if the power goes off, what will happen? Will the phone brick?

Yes, and maybe the only thing to do will be flash a special kdz (v10_downgrade.kdz)

If your phone is in download mode when the power goes off, your phone will remain in download mode and you wont be able to get out.
I found the only way to fix it has NOTHING to do with re flashing a special kdz in fact in my case you cannot flash any kdz using the offline updater.
I got mine to work by flashing with the original firmware tool that lg provides and selecting recovery upgrade.

If this still doesn't work, go to emergency mode and reflash.

Hello. I have an LG Optimus L7 with a custom ROM but I hate it. I want to go back to the way it was when I originally bought it. I've looked at so many threads on how to revert back to the stock ROM but I can't seem to figure it out. Can anyone help me?

install it with kdz updater, chose a .kdz file and have fun
It keeps telling me that my phone is not found and I don't know how put my phone in emergency mode. It keeps going straight to CWM Recovery.
vol up and down and plug in the usb
It doesn't work. I keep trying every combination but I can't boot my phone into emergency mode.

Try to press between the volume up and down and then power when it vibrates release buttons

Hello, when using the LG Mobile Support Tool to unbrick my phone that is stuck in fastboot it only gets as far as 49% then it stops and says "Upgrade stopped due to an error". I am desperate so help would be beyond appreciated.

Didn't exactly get a fix but I found out how to boot back into the recovery which allowed me to restore a backup. Just hold down the VOLUME DOWN + POWER until you see the LG logo and then hold down the same button combination until you're into recovery.

my phone naw stoped in download mod dont do any thing other i try all to open it

But this does not solve the problem that how to flash KDZ? I do not have backup of latest 21p!
So i have to flash old 10m 4.2.2 working KDZ!
I stupidly accepted an LG OTA on my G2 running Rayglobe.
Now the phone just loops into CWM and won't enter download mode either.
Bricked, or is there a chance of survival?

Hey bud. There is still hope as long as you can boot into recovery. There's a way to push adb from your pc. It should be somewhere on the forums. I'm afraid I can't help any more than that.

root went smooth, then i flashed cmw and then my phone rebooted into cmw and everytime i try to reboot it reboots to cmw and not the os?

You need to go back to stock. Try entering download mode and flash kdz. .. Look at the sticky at the top of this forum.

so, i found i can turn it off and stop rebooting if i push the of button long enough. but still, i cant get in to download mode.

Thats not a bricked phone!
Before flashing and getting into rooting your phone and flashing a recovery, I suggest you to read about it.

I flashed the incorrect rom and phone will not boot, it goes to lg logo then enters fastboot mode, have tried entering recovery using the botton combination but I end up in fastboot, I have tried entering download mode but after about two seconds I end up in fastboot mode. I have a d800 lg g2, any help? I think root and twrp are gone from the rom

I did this and same problem. download mode shows up for a bit then goes into fastboot mode
Then google search how to fastboot commands to flash new rom via fastboot.

tried this and also tried fastboot commands for twrp, and it says booting or flashing failed dtb not found
Then probably remove battery for few minutes and then try again, i am not sure if this would help.

I have the d800, which has no removable battery. I powered it down a while with no luck
Yes it does all u have to do is flip back cover gently look in youtube videos
