[Q] please help me

my lg gt540 bricked when iam installing new rom via recovery my phone shut down
while doing this after that i tried to turn it on it gives me the white lg logo (android 2.1) and then the red logo and (like android 1.6) still like that if i plug it into pc do the same and if i plug it in the charger do the same i tried hard reset its the same if tried recovery it do the same what i can do is to get into download mod pleae help me

can you get to recovery using power+home button combinations? or can you get into fastboot using power+camera button combinations (blackscreen with backlights on)

no i cant get in recovery or cant get in fastboot help me thank u

hmm i dont really get how come you can lose both fastboot and recovery at the same time from a recovery file flash O_O

cant i do any thing i read post that i may flash anew rom by using kdz updater bu i cant do it

i cant get it back to lg support because now i work in egypt while i bought it from uk o2

Try getting into Download Mode and flash using KDZ Updater. That's the last hope

but its very weird how one losses both the modes in a file flash O_O

i will do it so
frist in kdz the phone mode would be diag or cs_emerengcy or other mod then i found roms with fastboot which rom is the best rom to flash then if i flashed this rom i will be finished or i have any thing else to flash or do

[Q] Installing a stock ROM for my phone

Hello. I have an LG Optimus L7 with a custom ROM but I hate it. I want to go back to the way it was when I originally bought it. I've looked at so many threads on how to revert back to the stock ROM but I can't seem to figure it out. Can anyone help me?

install it with kdz updater, chose a .kdz file and have fun

It keeps telling me that my phone is not found and I don't know how put my phone in emergency mode. It keeps going straight to CWM Recovery.

vol up and down and plug in the usb

It doesn't work. I keep trying every combination but I can't boot my phone into emergency mode.

only vol - and plug to usb ,make sure u hav no battery inserted

Try to press between the volume up and down and then power when it vibrates release buttons

root went smooth, then i flashed cmw and then my phone rebooted into cmw and everytime i try to reboot it reboots to cmw and not the os?

You need to go back to stock. Try entering download mode and flash kdz. .. Look at the sticky at the top of this forum.

so, i found i can turn it off and stop rebooting if i push the of button long enough. but still, i cant get in to download mode.

To enter in download mode:
Turn off device PRESS VOL UP while plugging in the micro usb cable. If this doesn't work, try holding both volume keys instead

Thats not a bricked phone!
Before flashing and getting into rooting your phone and flashing a recovery, I suggest you to read about it.

before 30 minutes I flashed the kdz file for android 4.1.2 for my region.
My problem is that my phone didnt boot since then.. it stucks at the LG logo.
What can I do?

Im having this problem too, i tried reflashing again and again but its just stuck on the lg logo.

You'd better update directly from Lg Official website.

Just do hard reset and will boot.
VOL- POWER after lights release them and hold HOME.

hard reset!
switch off your phone.
press vol- + home + power for some seconds, on your screen will appear the android logo and your phone come back as you bought it

G2 bricked won't boot past LG

Hey guys I just got another one of these damn G2s
Anyway, got root fine on 12b and had issues trying to push the twrp recovery image to it, it kept failing for some reason. So I tried the Flashify option... and as you can tell by the thread title it worked excellently. And by excellently I mean I'm bricked.
I can get into download mode. But it won't boot past the LG logo. All I get is a black screen. Can someone help me revert to stock and get twrp installed?
Thanks:laugh: I'm using an S4 right now so no rush.
Also I'm a little illiterate on Android so take is slow and dumb it down- I don't develop and I don't code, I just enjoy other people's work as a casual user.

Try holding volume down + power
Immediately when LG appears let go of both and ONLY hold onto power, should boot into option to factory reset
Hit power button 3 times to continue.

Tried that. It processes the reset and then immediately tries to reboot, and bootloops again.

That was what I was thinking but I don't know how through download mode. I feel helpless without being able to flash things :crying:

WHen your g2 is powered off just hold volumeup and connect to a PC. If it doesn't go past the blue dots then you can't enter download mode either.

The white screen where you can hard reset the phone? Yes.. I can get into it, but accepting the reset simply puts the phone back into a boot cycle.
