[Q] galaxy s4 zero lemon signal issue

I have bought zero lemon about a month ago. And I stayed having signal issues I thought it was my service provider but it wasn't. When ever I used Samsung original cover the signals were fine. So I was thinking it's there any way to boost my phone signals with the user of aluminium foil if I put it in my phone. Eagerly waiting for response .
And it's my first time on this forum
My 7500mAh battery doesn't affect the signal strength, what firmware and modem you using?

iam using the stock frimware

Stock vs Custom Rom signal is low

Is ti common for the signal to be lower on a rom vs stock rom..
Im using cloudypro and my signal is very low and sometimes actually alot jumps from lte to H to 3g
When i was on stock i had a constant 5 bars and so does my wife s4
Its always the case for me. I think its just cosmetic though, I haven't noticed a drop in signal while talking

N910C questions

Hi I bought the N910C for At&t, after doing some research online I know that asu is usually dbm+140. It is accurate on my old GS4 it getting -100dbm 40asu. On the other hand my note 4 is getting weird numbers like -101dbm 6asu and the difference is 95 and not constant.
I am worried if I got a defect phone or it how N910C works on antenna formulas. Please help I am debating whether should I return the phone...
thanks
I observed the same readings... but I had no problem with downloads and uploads...

-83 TO -87 dBm AND 15ASU ...on LTE . I am guessing it all comes down to wich tower your phone is connected, distance from it, load...etc I really do not think your readings are subject to change of device., but it never hurts to test another phone on the same carrier and see what are the signal readings and if it is a constant reading. Good luck

Yeah so I'm guessing this is the type of reading from N910C? As I have tried testing out S4 in same room same band, on LTE:14 it getting 100/40, and my Note 4 910c getting the other way around just confuses me haha...

Battery and signal strength on 7.1.1

I recently made the jump to 7.1.1 which has been really excellent and stable. I haven't been getting the best battery life with it though and my signal strength is consistently weak (even though the phone reflects 3/4 bars LTE most of the time). I am currently on project fi
I am not sure what's causing this buy is anyone else having similar experiences?
I had that problem. I flashed the 7.0 bootloader and radio and its better.

What kind of improvement did you see?
Its hard to say really. At first it seemed like it helped but now my phone is back to not being able to hold 4g in weaker areas. Just not as bad as the 7.1 radio. Its fast and easy to flash a different radio and bootloader. You dont even have to erase anything. U literally have nothing to lose. If your signal acts worse just flash back or try another radio/bootloader.

signal bars at Zero?! is this normal?

Hello guys! I don't know what's going on but since I have this device almost every time the signal bars are at zero. Anyone having this issue?
Yep, this phone has terrible reception. Although, the signal bars don't necessarily reveal how strong the signal really is. Indoor reception is worse than outdoor. I have one or even no bars inside my house, but I can still get lte+ speeds. As soon as I walk outside I have full bars, and not much difference in download speed. I have missed more calls with this phone than any other phone I've had though. Really bummed cuz this phone is so close to being the best phone I've ever had.

(On T-Mobile network) At home phone shows more than half of bars, at work, outside and in most places phone shows at least half of the bars. I did see no bars couple of times in few places, but it didn't create any issues. Comparing it to other phones and if dB signal is to be believed, then it is safe to assume that Essential has about -6 to -8 dB less than devices from leading manufacturers.

I'll get this on certain stretches of highway. It will go to no bars, then bars with no internet. I set to airplane mode and then I'll get bars and LTE again.

Yes, sometimes even if I have no bars at all the service seems to function properly. Maybe it's a software related thing.
Right now I'm at zero bars but the LTE keeps working fine. Idk what is going on lol
I live in a fringe area of Verizon. This phone is no weaker than my old Samsung S4.
