I dont have the file. I got it done through a friend of mine who works for Samsung. As we are working with the
pit file, I would suggest you get it done officially.

And wat abt knox status

Fully official. Binary and Knox are 0.

I pretty much don't have an idea on this. But it does give you a confirmed downgrade to JB.
And with samsung's new certificates on security you lose all your data. :crying::crying:

Thanks !
You Made My Day :good:

If KNOX doesn't reset, it's kinda pointless to do so...

One worker of Samsung could downgrade one firmware..... something new on this?
* EDIT: Expect 10023849238492384 millions of threads asking for this .PIT file

Ill try my best to get the pit file.

pit file??
is there another pit for I9500 other then "Adonis"???
i dont think so

Downgrade I9505 from 4.4.2 to 4.2.2
I have just found a German YouTube video with working downgraded 4.2.2 for i9505. I also see that they're using the Adam 1.6 kernel. The only thing is that it's MF8 firmware. I would prefer MGA or MH8. The main reason I would like to be able to downgrade if I ever end up with 4.3 or above is so I can use Jkay Deluxe as the dev seems to have given up. It's the only mod that has what I want. There's no alternative that I can find.

Moreover 4.3 seems to have a better battery optimization. I don't know if kitkat has that. And i don't find much difference in ui.

You can´t downgrade to a stock knox disabled firmware and if you root/flash a custom rom, you knox counter will be set to 0x1.
I updated OTA,but not via Kies
So still I have new bootloader? :/

Device is modified?

My note 3 is running the belgian 4.4.2 I downloaded from Sam mobile and flashed with odin, though the phone says it is a custom rom and when I click check for updates it also says phone is modified.
Anyone know what the problem is here and how I can restore ota updates?
The phone was rooted when i was on 4.3 but I have flashed first the Polish and then the Belgian 4.4s via odin

You can't go back to JB from KK... You may as well have said to connect to Kies and let that fix it...
To the Op, check if your Knox warranty void has been tripped, if it has you may as well root and install a custom rom and/or recovery, or at the very least xposed framework.
You can't reset theKnox but you can use a mod to trick the system into thinking its official which will allow OTA updates. You may need a couple of things to be active so the OTA will install but I'll let you look that up.

Used to read about a bug on samsung phones where if it contains too many files it would show system status as modified. Try transfer as much as your files from phone memory into sdcard then remove it. Then check again system status. It sounds crazy but i'm pretty sure that's my understanding from the thread

Strange, when flashing back to complete stock everything goes back to official (bar knox of course) - did you try the xeo? It's possible if you've used another firmware (carrier or country) the device may not like it.
Also a complete wipe may help too.

Well when I reflashed and it didn't work I did a factory reset and cleared the cache to no prevail.
What's the xeo mate?

Well, o thought i can keep my device update on par. The firmware, the modem and bootloader. My firmware and modem are updated to NC2. but my bootloader is still stuck to NB1. And well i believe so that if i'm on the same version which is 4.4.2, there will be hardly a brick. Correct me if i'm wrong.

If anything goes wrong with a bootloader flash the chance of a recoverable device are in the toilet...
Roms are generally fairly easy to reflash and so to can be recoveries if something goes wrong.
Bootloaders are the 1 thing you don't play with if you don't need to....
Who cares what the bootloader is anyway, as long as the device works which is why you needed to flash them to use Kitkat....
If you decide to go through with updating the bootloader then make DAMN sure the flash file isn't corrupt or you have any problems with the flash. Should be quick but truly those few seconds are a heart stopper, especially if it comes up fail in ODIN....
I have a lovely Samsung galaxy tab 7" paperweight to attest to this....

Your KNOX will always 0x1, so at first download official firmware from sammobile.com than download odin, in AP choose your extracted firmware md5 file and flash it after successfully flashing it must say PASS! when your phone finishes booting go to recovery and factory reset.

4.4.2 Firmware

Hey guys.
Had some great advice in some of my other questions and I thank everyone who posted. Everything always helps.
Just before I do this, as I've been informed that you can't go back to 4.3 after updating bootloader to 4.4.2.
Which would be the latest 4.4.2 firmware I should flash for N9005 in Australia? I then want to flash custom roms like Xnote etc. Knox will be triggered after I flash a custom recovery am I right?
Thanks guys. As far as I can see NC3 is the latest.

You can flash other (earlier) 4.4.2 roms but you can`t downgrade to a 4.3 rom afaik
Oh cool. That's fine then. All these have open MSCs right? So I could technically use it stock? There will be an English option? I mean if it's all on there I don't know why Samsung doesn't release it at a faster rate, ir more at once... If indeed it works fine. I'll probably change straight away to a custom rom but still, it'd be nice to see what vanilla kit kit is like.
