[Q] DEFY without signal after brick! PLEASE HELP ME!

hi, first i'll introduce myself..
I'm Lucas Lo Faro, from Buenos Aires, Argentina, I'm a java developer and an Android fan.
i think i'm having a problem with the baseband in my defy plus.
i use to have a defy (with froyo 2.2) and now a i have a defy plus with 2.3.4 and accidentally downgraded it to froyo 2.2 when i flashed the standart sbf of my old phone..
so i read a lot here and finally flashed the famous chinese firmware (2.3.6) to unbrick it..
and then i installed the MS2Ginger 4.0 rom but i cannot get any signal..
My issue is:
when i use the baseband switcher v4.0 i get this error:
"unable to detect your baseband configuration, it's possibly damaged. reset to default?"
so i renamed this directory: system/etc/motorola/bp_nvm_default
(as i read here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1203297)
and used the baseband switcher v4.1 as i read in a post here.. but it still doesn't work..
any ideas?

i'm in Argentina and my service provider is Personal..
i don´t know what to do..
i thought it may be some rom incompatibility but it seems i cannot change the rom anymore.. because it would brick again..

Stock Sbf
Try flashing the stock sbf again. Then root it, and flash a custom rom..maybe it'll work then

Have you tried to select "Claro" instead of "Personal" yet? remember the baseband switcher doesn't work if you select Personal.

DEFY+ ROOT

I JUST bought a brand new motorola defy PLUS(DEFY+). with ANDROID 2.3.6. I want to know my BOOTLOADER VERSION.(if it BL6 OR BL7).How can i know my bootloader version???
i know that defy+ BL7 has problems with rooting and is not rootable by superoneuserclick. Please tell me how to do it .And i need someone to guide me to select a correct SBF file for me in case i brick my phone.how do i select the correct SBF file for my phone????.please help!!!!:cyclops:

This is a guide for motorola defy....and most of it is not for the defy plus..can u please give me the link for the SBF file to download???and also tell the bootloader version finding process?

You have not read it properly then. It's for Defy (Red and green lens) as well as for Defy+ too. I have a defy+ too and had followed the above guide to root, install CM etc.
If your firmware version is something like 4.5.1-134_DFP-23xx (xx=some number), then you're on BL7.

Method for rooting
Just follow the steps given in page no.9
and u will get ur defy+ rooted...

in that guide they said always to keep in mind the CG VERSIONS.i am having a CG version 7 according to the post(DEFY+ android gingerbread 2.3.6).But you said the the files in the SBF would have numbers such as CGXX..XX IS THE NUMBER...i just want to ask..will the number ' XX' be 7 for my phone????and Do i have the check these numbers in the original SBFs too????

Defy +: I put the original ruins of the ruins Rootolo, then the Boot Menu in Hungarian translation, and are followed by the error in the "Blade" my brain that I installed along with the 720p and panorama for Gingerbread Motorola
and since then my camera does not work, just great blackness!

Motorola defy problem

Hi , I bought a motorola defy with defy + software so it's an m526 . My question is how can i make it back to m525 ? I want to do that because my camera don't work and it's blocking everyday . Or how can i make it in m526 to work fine and to work camera ? I need help pls !

Go to Settings>About Phone and list the details please

Camera works since latest Quarx-Rom (Android 4.1.2 from 11th October 2012)

It was astonishing for me, because I always thought, without changing the Kernel we never would be able to recognize the green lense. But with this CUSTOM ROM I can use my kamera like nothing happened. When you flash this Rom through CWM, be patient, when you reboot after flashing. It needs a long time to finish first booting. Just wait until you can see the regular Welcome screen.

[Q] Update problem

Hey XDA!
So I really would like to flash a new Rom to my Samsung omnia 7. However none of the tutorials seem to work...
My os version is:
7.10.8773.98
my Bootloader version is: 5.11.1.8
Also my phone is not unlocked. It was once but i updateded it and i lost my unlock so I'm back to normal...
So could anyone help me and redirect me to the correct thread for my needs or write down what i need to do?

****... So i finally managed to flash my rom installed magldr on my phone and then used dft wpi sam1 to flash another rom.. Turns out my phone has probably no firmware now and after the bootup logo remains at a black screen... So could anyone help me please?

[Q] Pls look at the screen of my defy - battery prob

i have red so many topics on the forum but i havent found any solution for my problem i flashed rom customs and also sbfs of my region but still nothing

i used mcgvyer process to boot up phone into bootloader then i bought new battery also but its not recognizing any battery
