The software on my Nexus 7 went down ( didn't pass the X logo ) ... so I wanted to flash custom ROM with Nexus Root Toolkit ... The device was on the bootloader screen & I powered it off .... Then slept leaving my pc downloading the firmware from google site .. And in the morning the firmware is downloaded , but when I tried to power the nexus 7 to flash the ROM .. I got NO response , not even the charging indicator ...tried all buttons combinations and nothing works ... opened the back and the battery is well plugged ... tried to charge it with asus charger but won't charge ( even the charger is not warm !! ) .... Don't know what happened since the bootloader was working fine .... Is there any solutions ??
I have an S4 GPE and had a rooted 4.4.2 I9505GUEUCML4 with no issues. In order to flash the 4.4.3 update, I installed TWRP 2.6.0.0 (big mistake - since it saw an empty file system and that's where the problem started) and then replaced it with philz touch 6.15.6 and flashed the zip file. Everything worked fine, but the battery stopped charging. In connecting charger to phone (I tried 3 different chargers with 3 different batteries) lightening bolt appears, LED flashed red - but no charge happens. I tried:
- Multiple clean wipes/fact. resets with a full firmware odin flash, followed by a factory reset (actually tried flashing a couple of variants)
- Went to the lab and had the phone usb checked - no issue
- charged batteries in external chargers - all charged without an issue
The phone is still not charging.
I'd appreciate any and all suggestions.
Thanks!

Did you used any OTG devices ? Sometimes they may affect battery charge.

I've tried different cables/chargers/reseting the phone, nothing work. the battery do get charge and last the whole day. is it a software bug (im on 7.1.9) ?
I can't access download or recovery mode because the phone thinks the battery is empty.
I've try to update the phone but no update are available.

problem solved following this guide : http://en.miui.com/thread-235865-1-1.html with Miflash(Beta Version) http://en.miui.com/thread-281979-1-1.html
So I have Galaxy A5 2017 (SM-A520F) and it's not booting at all or charging. (is it fully hard bricked?)
I can't even boot it in safe mode and when connected PC isn't finding it so I can't flush factory ROM.
I really don't know how to fix it, and I tried almost everything.
Is there something to do?
P.S. Opening the phone is NOT the option
Thank you guys in advance
Hi. This sounds like a hard brick. No response to buttons, pc can't detect it. Unless it's not a faulty battery or some other internal component.
Take it to a samsung service center if you're still under warranty. Otherwise I would open it to measure voltage on battery if it's not possible from usb port.
May I ask how it got to this state in the first place?
Hey! Having the same problem. Does anyone know the solution?
