you can build your own with mtk droid tools there are guides in xda for that. or you can use my own as i know c7 have the same rom on all versions. But the cwm doesn't fully support the alcatel so it's useless you can flash but you can't make backup with it
Does anyone know a good guide to follow? I'm looking to root and flash CWM on my 7041X without bricking it. Thanks!
The quick sollution it's to gain root with RootGenius, install Mobile Uncle Tools, Flash CWM from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=51698373&postcount=3 and after that you will have all. If you don't like kinguser, install supersu, lunch it to gain root and uninstall kinguser after that.

I would very much like to do a backup before installing a recovery so I can send my phone back to warranty without issues in case it's needed.

it must rename:
hanuma50_recovery in recovery
renamed them in CTR_recovery and TWRP_recovery and it works now. They can be flashed.
What i have seen it's that it does not have a mountpoint for protect_f and protect_s partition and in TWRP i have errors in mounting points:

Does anyone know if this phone supports HDMI MHL with an adapter? I know it has USB OTG, but the HDMI I don't know. I know some french websites sell this adapter for this phone, but I couldn't find info anywhere.
So, following the tutorial that has been made for Idol X mini HERE and since i had already the scatter file from my C7 Vodafone ES, today i had on my hands a new C7 from Vodafone RO. So i have made a full backup from this phone using SP Flash v5.1408.00 without even opening it. So this back-up it's a fresh one with no initialisation on phone. Also it has the extra img of cache and userdata.
You can find all the files HERE . On attached image it's the backup address used and also the scatter file.

Help me,, Cannot boot in to recovery

Please help needed!!
I'm stuck here for 3 days
Ok I'm going to tell everything I did,,
My Gionee E7 is indian version.
First I rooted my phone with kingo Root.
Than I flashed CWM chinese version.
I upgraded my system to kitkat and changed the recovery to stock.
I used it for a week than some how my music player and gallery were corrupted.
I don't have any rom so I download one but it was in chinese, flashed it to my gionee. than after rooting,,
I flashed the CWM, same I flashed weeks ago
Here my problem started :crying:
The CWM is not starting. I used recoery tool to boot into recovery after boot up it shows black screen. I used every method holding Vol+ and power button but the same result.
than I tired to get back to my stock recovery but it does the same.
flashed many times both recoveries but didn't worked.
I searched a lot and find a TWRP. I flashed it and wow it worked Finally I can boot into recoery mode.
Now I find the Nandroid backup of indian version. I made it a zip and flashed it through twrp.
My phone is back to indian version but its slow, not too much but its slow; camera, gallery and other apps take some time to open. I can't make or rcv phone calls. Now what i did is download the update form System update.
Now i got kitkat rom.zip but twrp failed to install it.
Some one on the internet was saying that its the problem with my Kernel. I have the latest kernel so CWM won't work cuz it uses old kernel and display drivers.
My
android version is 4.2.2
Kernel version is 3.4.0-svn2155
I also got TWRP for lolipop,
and I patched binary_update in my kitkat rom too but TWRP can't flash it
Thats my whooooolllleeeee story. "
I got stuck with this for almost 3 days now I'm damn tired can't do it anymore plz help :crying::crying::crying:
I figured it out by myself

Hello my friend, please help me.
I am trying to flash stock inidan rom 4.2 but.. I installed all CWM for E7 found on the internet and I am getting black screen. I managed to Install TWRP but TWRP cannot flash the rom that I need to flash. I flashed a chinese 4.2 but is piece of garbage..
gngc-download-tool said that the com port is closed.
I have windows 64 is this the problem causing gngc not working?
No its not, it is working on 64bit windows very well.
In TWRP factory reset and format system and data, than install
Chinese 4.2 ROM. After that boot it and try it again.
It should work!

Help
I just rooted my gionee elife e7. Flashed the chinese recovery which seemed to be the only one which would be compatible. But, while changing a few setting using pimp my rom, the software just stopped working. Errors keep showing up on the screen - "system.ui is not working", "android app is not working", I cannot even go the settings because "settings is not working". Third party apps still seem to work, so, whatsap and stuff continue to function. Doing a factory reset or flashing firmware again seem to be the only viable option.
But, when I try to load up the bootloader using the power and volume keys, it gets stuck on the screen showing the gionee logo and it reads 'fastboot mode' in the bottom left hand side corner. So,
a. can you offer any advice which may be useful ?
b. can you share the link from where you got a TWRP recovery which will work on the Elife ?
c. do you have any idea what exactly went wrong here ?
Any help you can provide will be appreciated because, it's my mausi's phone and I will have a very tough time explaining what really went down here.
Regards,

Lemfo lem5 custom recovery - twrp

Was able to port twrp recovery of blitz smartwatch after unpacking and replacing the kernel file with the lemfo lem5's stock kernel file extracted from unpacking stock recovery of lemfo lem5 and then repacking and flashing it to lemfo lem5. The recovery got successfully installed and all features are working except the recovery screen is flipped / inverted but not the touch response. The touch inputs are the same as non inverted screen and using the touch is pain in the a**s. If the touch input field is at 45 degrees then to access it, need to tap at 225 degrees and on the same radius distance. Can anyone let me know how to flip the recovery screen without affecting the touch fields or is there a similar custom recovery for mtk6580 lollipop smartwatch with flipped screen.
I have not found solution
Same problem with kw88h
And all twrp apk from playstore does not recognize as twrp
Recovery
Flashify can make the job
Only commands from adb... for wipe.
There is not enough space to backup or restore and i think only root and flasify is all you need.

I have got everything working in twrp recovery. The flip recovery is no more a problem now as with some practice now I am comfortably able to use this inverted twrp touch with ease. It works like a charm and just like the official twrp recovery. No problems at all. Now everything is set : bootloader unlocked, rooted with latest binary supersu, custom twrp recovery installed. I also have the stock recovery img backup file, hence can switch back and forth between stock and custom recovery whenever required. No space issue on lemfo lem5 as it has 8gb rom. lastly only xposed installer is to be installed which is not much of a problem as they are available for lollipop with supported sdk and for which as of now I don't see the use of xposed installer right now, hence will install when required. If I am able to somehow flip the recovery screen then that's it! ?

If your rom size is not sufficient enough for backup then you can create full rom backup on pc and can restore the same from pc when the need arises. There are software packages available for the same

Thanks
Gautam_Gundap, fantastic work - You've beaten me to the punch as I had been messing with this device since yesterday (already fixed two bootloops I had induced myself -_- ) and I've been looking for a method for porting a TWRP img that wouldn't brick the LEM5.
Would you mind sharing the port? ..Despite the mirrored display/input issues you have so far, having any recovery method right now is very appealing to me considering the hell I had luckily sidestepped, and want to dig further into their stock images: if only to rebuild them with better icons for starters....
If not, can you just run me through your steps for full-backup, and your modification of TWRP for use with LEM5? I don't mind doing the legwork but would rather not walk this firepath alone!

There are many advantages of twrp custom recovery, one of them being very fast full rom backup and even faster full rom restore and that too with compression, the pc whereas takes at least 10 times the time to do the same. full rom restore for me does it within 4mins and backup size of full compressed rom is only 1.64GB whereas the pc takes 7GB for the same backup. Needless to say about advantages of other features like customized wipe, flash image and zip files etc. Now for the procedure for porting twrp custom recovery is as follows
Download latest version of mtk extractor for PC. I tried all other methods, but only this one worked for me.
Download custom twrp recovery of blitz or i2 smartwatch which you will find in this forum.
You will require your stock recovery image file for this method. Your watch needs to be rooted to extract the same. Flashify app from playstore will do the job.
Connect watch to pc. Hope you know how to do this. rename stock recovery img to boot. Open mtk extractor and unpack this renamed file. You will find the unpacked files in mtk folder.
Cut these files and paste in a new folder stock recovery.
now rename the custom twrp recovery img you are going to port to boot.
Unpack it, the files will be placed in mtk folder.
Now copy kernel file from the stock recovery folder and paste it in the new unpacked files of ported twrp. PC Prompts replace - yes.
Now repack and you will get boot.img. Rename to recovery.img.
Flash this via fastboot or Flashify. Done. You have now successfully installed twrp recovery.
Note: In the mtk extractor software use the boot feature for all above steps.
If you encounter any problems post here and I will fix it.
To use pc for full rom backup and restore and many other features use cracked version of miracle box v2. 27A. Mtk Droid tools and SP flash tools do not support this watch, so don't waste time trying with it.
Xposed framework installed successfully!
Anyone need full power button menu for lemfo lem5 install advance power menu app from playstore. It works well. Once you long press the power button you get options for power off, reboot, download, recovery, UI restart , screen shot, soft reboot and safe mode reboot. Select floating mode from settings. looks and works nice on smart watch display

Very cool - seems straightforward enough. I'll see if I can find something to fix up or workaround to get the rotation back while I'm at it. First thing's first is to give this a shot though. Need to get a windows machine so I'll get it going at work tomorrow!
Will update again soon. Thanks so much for the steps!
Hi guys.. root + twrp ok.. but there are Custom ROM with full smartwatch function (not only standalone)? Or the only one solution (partial solution) is M2D?
Well done! I've configured Lem5 TWRP how u can see here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/smartwatch/other-smartwatches/twrp-lemfo-lem-5-twrp-t3544569
I think/hope i've solved recovery flipped screen issue, because X5 TWRP haven't this problem.
X5 TWRP + Lem5 kernel = solution? I hope so!
If someone want try, please post the result. Thanx at all...!

if your bootloader is locked, it will not allow you to flash twrp recovery via fastboot . Use SP FLASH TOOLS for this purpose. Once you flash recovery do not reboot to system. Reboot to recovery for the first time and then it should be ok. Else root your watch first and flash recovery using Flashify. This method will also do the job.

If you are unable to reboot to system, then you need to re flash complete stock rom. You can do this using cracked miracle software. I have already uploaded full stock rom for flashing via cracked miracle box software except data/userdata partition . you can find it in one of the lemfo lem5 threads here. After re flash you can use the steps explained earlier to flash twrp recovery
I just released a fully working TWRP 3.0.2 recovery for X5+ and LEM5 here:

Don't forget to read all the instructions.

ZTE BLADE A602 recovery img file

Hey!
Do anyone know if there a recovery or TWRP file for the ZTE blade A602?
Hi All. I would also like to know if there is a custom recovery TWRP image for my ZTE Blade A602 running Android 7.0?
Thanks for help Greetings Werner
TWRP is now available for Blade A602!
My friend @Linux4 made TWRP 3.3.1 for ZTE Blade A602! It is pretty stable but it has some bugs:
- MTP, use adb push/pull
- Data Decryption (can't mount)
Important:
- Before you restart to system in first TWRP use, flash the dm-verity ZIP or the System will not boot anymore!
- If you want to root, please use SuperSU, Magisk will softbrick the Device (stucks on Splash and reboots to recovery)
- Do not flash official update.zip in TWRP. Idk why this happens, but the system is a bit corrupted, so use Stock Recovery (TaskSwitcher dead, lags and more)
- Format FRP doesn't work, but we'll make a FRP Bypass-ZIP soon.
If you are interested, i'll make a Debloat ZIP for A602. If you find bugs, please report!
Because this is my first Post, I can't send links, so i'll post the Links to a Telegram Channel (you can still view even you don't have Telegram):
t.me/a602_twrp_dl
Hello xda-developers,
Thanks for your response. My ZTE Blade A602 2017 for Germany (Android 7.0) is soft-bricked after a bad flash. Currently I have access through sp-flash tool and fastboot commands. Because I had no TWRP recovery on my ZTE Blade A602 I was not able to get a complete backup. So I am also searching for ZTE Blade A602 firmware/stock rom in Mediatek (MTK) SP Flashtool format. Do you have any help therefore. Can you also tell me where to download your mentioned TWRP 3.3.1 custom recovery image?
Thanks for help, Greetings Werner
Hey wlink!
If you have access to your Stock Recovery, flash the stock update.zip. If you have Telegram, I can send you the Link. I'll add Stock ROM Link to the Channel.

Hey, I faced the same issue 2days ago and yup I found a solution...
So, the first step you will need to follow is to flash the stock recovery via fastboot and then download the stock firmware zip file from Asus site and copy the zip file to SD Card. Now go to the recovery and then select "Apply update from Sdcard" and select the zip file and let the process complete .
In my case it took about 20-25 minutes so don't get tensed regarding the time...

Yeah I have also faced this issue and the only way to get your device working again is by flashing your stock ROM again either via Asus flash tool or via your stock recovery.
To flash using Asus flash tool...
Download the stock recovery file and flash it.
To flash with recovery...
Find and download stock recovery and flash it to your device via ADB
And then download the zip file for your device for your device from Asus official site and put it on your SD card.
And then select apply update from SD card and let the process complete...
