[HELP]?Bricked Nexus 4!

SO long story short I followed the rooting guide below:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2266654
What I did:
I Unlocked Bootloader & Installed Custom Recovery, but after
I clicked Reboot, TWRP prompted me to "Fix Root Permission"
and install Root, which I made the grave mistake of swiping to
accept..
Now everytime the phone boots I see a "Google" Logo with a padlock
underneath, for a good few minutes, then a never-ending bootloop!!!
I can get into Recovery, but I can't see the Phone connected to any of my
computers, So I am unable to add in a file to flash and possibly fix my Nexus...
(I also can't mount, nor can I wipe anything except cache)
Please please please, is there anything I can do to save this phone???
:crying::crying::crying:
When you're in recovery mode you need to use adb to transfer files to your Nexus. Look for a howto that tells you how to use it.
Go into recovery and factory reset. If it still bootloops go back to recovery then on your PC go to device manager. Plug your phone up and see if it starts trying to update the drivers if it does stop it and manually direct it to the driver folder and let it install. Download super SU and use adb to push it to the phone
adb push su.zip /sdcard/
Flash it in recovery then reboot
Sent via BLACKED OUT LTE N4
There is a sweet yummy feature in recovery called "adb sideload". Boot into TWRP recovery -> Advanced -> ADB Sideload.
Typing "adb sideload path-to-your-flashable-zip" in the command line will send the zip to your phone and flash.
Nothing seemed to work however I got it working using one of the tool kits that was able to pull me out of the boot loop in the bootloader thanks guys

Hold your power button for 15-ish seconds (even hold it for a while when the screen is black)
After that, hold the volume up+down+power button this will boot you into the bootloader.
After this you can just simply push a rom through adb on your phone, or try the factory reset in the recovery mentioned above.
so finaly how you decide your problem? cause i have the same problem

OTA upgrade problem

Hi
I have an international version 802 version with ROM of g.lewarne inside (rooted)
I've received and accepted the new OTA upgrade, and now i'm stick in the Clockworckmod Recovery.
I've flashed my LG back to the g.lewarne ROM but each time i restart my phone it goes directly to the CWM recovery Mode.
Any suggestion of what to do to get my phone starting normally?

It doesn't go to download mode.
What you need to do to fix this
If you´re stuck in CWM you CAN´T enter in download mode...in this case you have one Option.
download a T/zip file WRP Recovery
and
Plug the usb cable to a computer and enter in cwm recovery
next
adb push "name of recovery".zip /sdcard
next
install the new recovery
open a terminal commando and put this:
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/fota
Reboot
If you´re stuck in TWRP you have 2 options.
Enter in download mode and restore the firmware from LGMobile or from ADB command to restore your boot.
sorry for bad english
the same here...
I now have the stable version of Cyanogen tested install.
Supposedly he is fertig.Als Note is only: Checking if loki - fying is needed, Updating partition details ...
Otherwise Zip Install Complete
After the wipe reboot and again in TWRP.
In the file manager of TWRP is not to be understood that an installation place hätte.Den Downloadmod tried (the button is held down the top of the lens and USB cable plugged in to it) always comes only the LG logo and then again TWRP.
This helped me

when turning it on hold volume down and power button at the same time. Then when the LG logo comes up let go and hold them down again and press the power key twice to get into the recovery or maybe it will boot up normally.
Hey thanks for the reply, i tried your trick it doesn't work then i followed the fix with ubuntu, after that no more black screen I'm now stuck on the LG logo all the time .
Help !!
If you can enter download mode, try flashing appropriate kdz file to your phone.
You can also try to install pdanet and check with that. Select the device and proceed. Once the drivers are installed .. Try flashing the stock... Lemme know of this works

If you successfully transferred the correct recovery image using dd commands you should be able to boot into recovery. Have you tried booting into recovery after dd command? I did not even push the other files listed in guide, all I pushed was recovery image and it booted like a charm. Keep in mind I do own the VS980 variant, although it should be the same process just different image files.
So i did use the dd command on it, and transfered the openrecovery twrp for f320s but it just cannot boot on it with vol down and power

Well to enter the recovery you supposed to hold down Vol+ & Power until LG logo appears, release both, and then immediately press&hold those two buttons again.

PDANET is the key
Did u try using the pdanet? I was exactly in the same situation as u are. No matter if the lg drivers are installed.... The pc won't recognize the phone as ADB.EXE had stopped working. Here is what I did:
1) install pdanet.
2) it asked me to select the device and then it installed the drivers.
4) with this hopefully the ADB.EXE should start in your device manager. In my case it did.
5) go to google adb bundle folder.
6) go to SDK>platform tools> and paste your CM and gapps there.
7) try bridging the connection by going into the command prompt > and CD into the platform tools directory.
8) in the cmd put the command 'amd push "CM NAME" /sdcard/' and hit enter
9) this should push the file onto the phone... Do the same for gapps... And install it from the TWRP.
10) ALL THE BEST

Hi ! thanks for the help but my device is still not recognized by the computer after i typed adb devices, i guess it's pretty over now, just gonna send it back to china and try to make the warranty work !
When I bricked mine at the LG logo, I got into download mode by
>Shut the phone off
>Hold volume up while plugging it in to the computer
>?????
>Profit!
Hope it helps
Tried that but can't access to the download mode
try this even if you had a bad flash the hard drive is split in three parts you only messed up one part so download mode should still be bootable. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2475045

Seriously screwed?

Flashed the newest version of Malladus via TWRP 2.6.3.3 and it said it was successful, but now it won't boot at all. It pulls up the LG logo then immediately powers off. Dumbass me forgot to make a backup also...
I can get back to TWRP but ADB isn't recognizing the device even though it was working fine before this flash. So I can't adb sideload the stock rom to flash.
I would just flash back to stock with the LG tool but VolUp + plugging into my computer doesn't put it in download mode either, even though I did that a few days ago fine...
Any ideas at all?
Nevermind, I was able to get it into download mode. I think it wasn't fully turning off.

Were you able to boot recovery with vol down + power?if so you could reflash rom or push ROM to recovery via adb or sideload a ROM via twrp
Make sure you have the latest adb ver installed on computer.you.are using
As opposed to using adb sideload, wht not just push the ROM like you did the recovery?
Before you ask, I have no idea how to push a ROM, but I know it can be done

White lines on screen...how to flash kernel?

Rooted my phone successfully with the towelroot apk
Went to back up it up with twrp and now I have white lines.
I see the thread that has the jdi kernel and I have it downloaded.
My problem is I can't find a good tutorial or directions on how to flash that kernel to my phone tho. I can't see a thing on my phone, just the folders when I plug it in USB on my pc.

The white lines should go away in twrp i think.
power off your device...
hold power and volume down --wait for lg logo, release buttons, hold again the both buttons..confirm reset(it will enter recovery).
Do you have usb otg ?
You need to copy the zip file on your phone.
1. Get the phone screen to be viewable
Power off (keep power button pressed until the phone turns off) and then power on the phone. Don't let the screen turn off. If necessary, go to system settings -> display -> screen timeout -> keep screen turned on.
2. Copy the file from the PC to the phone
Connect the USB cable and choose MTP mode on the phone. Copy the file to a folder of your choice (e.g. Download) on the phone
3. Reboot in recovery mode
Follow bender's instructions or install Rebooter app from play store to reboot to recovery
4. Install kernel
Click Install -> [browse to the folder where you saved the file and select the file] -> follow the prompts to the end -> reboot system

I don't have a usb otg. I can get one if it will help me out here.
Just read diamond12's instructions. I was able to get into twrp recovery and I tried installing the new kitkat kernel(from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=52414185&postcount=122) and got the same white lines problem.
Does twrp need the kernel to be installed in zip form or should I extract it on my pc and only put the image file on my phone for twrp to use? Twrp has buttons to either install or mount something. Which one is best for kernel.
I also tried the backup I created in twrp and still have the same problem.
I can get to safemode and change display settings so that my phone is usable, but I'm stumped on how to get back to normal here without the lines, thanks.

Let me see..
Basically what you can do is
connect phone to pc (usb debugging might be active)..
download adb, or ioroot25(extract it to c:\ioroot25)
open cmd
type cd c:\ioroot25
type
adb devices
type
adb reboot recovery
now you're in recovery
now..
put the kernel inside the same folder where ioroot is (...where ADB is..)
type
adb push kernel.zip /sdcard/kernel.zip
(where kernel.zip is actually the kernel name)
now flash it..

Thanks bender, I was able to get into recovery with Diamond12's directions. Unfortunately, I've run out of ideas on how to fix my problem.
How hard is it for me to go back to 100% stock from this point?
You must search another jdi kernel and flash it via recovery

Bender....I see you made an app to tell what kernel is running(I think) here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=52549785&postcount=146
How do I install that? Thanks
Not sure you guys noticed but panel swapper basically flashing this converts the kernel on your device from one to another(lgd to jdi and vice versa)
