I heard that in 4.4.2, The user can choose btween ART mode and Dalvik mode. but how do i switch to ART mode? it's not in the developer option.
It might have been removed by the carrier.
Yes. that's what i thought after seeing other devices having that option.

is it safe to install CWM and flash a rom if im usign ART runtime rather than Dalvik? or should i revert back to dalvik first?
As when flashing roms i know it wipes dalvik cache etc..
no it wont matter, it is perfectly safe, the flashing of the rom will maybe even switch the runtime back to dalvik.
After reboot when i choose ART it's back to Dalvik. I have rooted stock ANG7
Happens when you use Xposed which doesn't support ART.

Simulate Mode
You accidentally activate the simulate mode. To deactivate this mode follow this instructions:
-Access to TWRP Recovery
-Go to settings
-And uncheck "Simulate actions for theme testing"
And thats it.
I'm using Nexus 4.I'm using currently stock Android L 5.0
I had Android L developer version. While flashing the new factory image file i forgot to clear the cache and dalvik cache. So i cleared it later. I cleared cache, dalvik cche and data in recovery mode.now i am unable to copy files to my phone from pc or bluetooth. Neither can i download any files other than whatsapp and playstore. I tried turning on and off mass storage mode, usb debugging bit doesnt work. Any suggestions?

Hi I have a SGH-I337 on 4.4.2. If I wipe my Dalvik and cache I get the Swipe screen and can access my phone without ever entering my PIN! My phone has been set to PIN ever since i installed GOLDFINGER 9.0 XXUGNK4 . This only happens if i wipe Dalvik and Cache. Anyone ever encountered this?
