I tried turning on and off mass storage mode, usb debugging bit doesnt work. Any suggestions?

Find 5 factory reset

Is it safe to use factory reset on Costum ROM?
Im thinking to use it when i make mess in my device storage or is there any other method to wipe my device storage to start as new for ROMs and other things?
I found this on web.
Is this how i should do it?
1. Boot into recovery
2. Wipe the cache partition
3. Go to advanced and wipe dalvik and batt stats.
4. Go back to mounts and storage and format system, then data, then cache.
5. Go back and install the rom zip file from the sd card.
6. Reboot.
Not necessary to wipe battery stats or Format system. Download new ROM- boot to recovery- wipe data/factory reset- wipe cache- wipe dalvik- reboot.
Formatting the system may cause you to lose important files or even backups

I don't care for backups or files because I have them on my subdued m windows PC

[Q] Factory Data Reset on Encrypted Phone: Trials and Tribulations

Hello All!
I've owned every Samsung Galaxy and both Nexus 7's and have successfully done all the basics (rooting, CWM, custom ROM) using Odin, ADB, and Fastboot. I've reached a problem that has stymied me, and Googling has thus far revealed no solutions.
Hopefully this question isn't as stupid as it seems to me.
Background
My AT&T Galaxy S4 has been rooted, has CWM recovery installed, and is running SlimBean's version of Android 4.3.
The phone was encrypted using the ROM's encryption (Settings >> Security >> Encrypt Phone). There is no decrypt option.
I installed the latest version of the ROM without realising that CWM's "Wipe Data/Factory Reset" option yielded errors due to the phone's encryption. Very stupid of me. Now, the phone works if I can get it to boot, but getting it to boot is a huge hassle that involves wiping /cache and re-installing the ROM every time.
Problem
I need to wipe data/factory reset and re-install the ROM in order to prevent the reboot problem from constantly occurring. I cannot do this from CWM due to the encryption of the phone.
Things I have tried:
1) Using ADB to mount and format system, data, cache
2) Using recovery to mount and format system, data, cache
For both, mounting and formatting system and cache were successful. Mounting and formatting data was unsuccessful.
3) Rebooting into Fasboot and using fastboot -w
For this, my Windows PC and my friend's Mac didn't recognise the device.
4) Using AirDroid to wipe data remotely
Using avast! to wipe data remotely
Using Android Device Manager to wipe data remotely
Asking my Exchange Admin at work to wipe the data remotely (maybe?)
None of these worked. The phone just rebooted like normal.
Basically
1. How can I wipe data/factory reset my encrypted phone?
2. How can I format the /data on my encrypted phone? Is this the only way to achieve (1)?
3. If I borrow a friend's Mac, and install Android SDK, would fastboot -w work on an encrypted phone?
Thanks bunches,

Format the phone completely via TWRP, and flash AMDL via ODIN. That should resolve your issue.

Stuck at boot 'Launching apps'

Hi all,
Since I tried to update my phone, I'm stuck at boot after updating apps.
Screen displays 'Launching apps' but the phone seams stuck.
I already triedd to wipe cache and dalvik cache.
I also wipe several partitions (including cache, dalvik cache, system, data) and then try again to install and boot the ROM but same result.
Finally I wiped all the partitions (cache, dalvik cache, system, data, internal data) and install ROM again but I'm still facing the problem
Then I found this thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-nexus/help/stuck-android-upgrading-starting-apps-t2825113
So I tried to use 'Fix permissions' option without any success.
After that, I also connected to the device with adb and execute fix_permissions.sh script provided in the thread by it doesn't work better.
Do you have any idea how to fix that?
Thanks by advance.
Have you tried sideloading another ROM and flashing to see if the issue still persists? I assume you get this after it optimizes all the Apps?
I forgot that I have no more access neither to adb nor fastboot...
I read that my last chance is LGNPST.
Do you have any recent pointers to a process to recover my phone, please?
Thanks

(help)

Hello guys, my nexus 6p is stuck on twrp. I am running 3.0-2.0 twrp and the latest version of android. I was rebooting the device bc some of apps were misbehaving and clearing the cache. After that, it's been stuck on TWRP. I tried pretty much everything. if its possible, can just copy some of the files and wipe it? Thanks!
Enable MTP in TWRP.
Connect to your PC and transfer your desired ROM
Wipe SYSTEM, CACHE, DATA/DALVIK
Flash the ROM
REBOOT.
@Mavelos said it all, I hope you succeed.

TWRP 3.2.1 - Unable to Mount Partition / cache

Hi all
I have two Nexus Grouper 2012 running SLimLP, cache and data are wiped to F2FS, both are runnning fantastic
I've used TWRP on device 1, backed up everything as a 'template image' to restore to device 2. Switched device 2 on, brilliant, all works great.
However, when I wipe the dalvik and cache on device 2, the dalvik wipes, but twrp displays straight after wiping the cache, 'cannot mount partition'. On device 1 this doesn't happen.
I reboot device 2, and it's fine, is it a false positive and just ignore it?
