About to buy a new nexus but my main concern is that if I get the 3G version of the nexus there will be very few custom ROMs available when compared to the WiFi version?
Can anyone confirm what the range of custom ROMs available is for the 3G version please?
Cheers
John

I'm not sure if this is the right forum, so I apologize if it isn't. What are the current working Rogers APN settings both general and LTE-specific? Thanks

Out of curiosity, does anyone know if the LTE APN settings will work for regular network stuff or is there a separate APN for that. If there is, can someone please post that as well?

I ran it for a while on my N4 and when I was out of an LTE zone it dropped down to HSPA+ with no problems so I think you can just use the LTE apn.
Hi everydbody. I got a question. When I go to see my girlfriend at Montreal, I got a very bad signal. There is a way to get a better signal?
Thanks

Buy an active signal booster (ie a cell phone signal repeater).
Call your provider and compplain about coverage in the area.
Hold your phone 'right' lol.
Usually if you get bad signal in one area and good in another not much can be done at the device level to get better signal. You can try to use different bands and such but most times it wont help. Search for AWS on i337m to try, but I would guess it wont help.

The only thing I've been able to do about little to no signal is buy a repeater. I bought a zboost yx540 (I think that's the one I have lol) and went from 0-1 bar of EDGE to 2-5 bars of 4G. I've also done signal tweaks with the app android tweaker pro and it seems to have helped.

I'm running Project KitKat at the moment (KRT16S) and I really would like 4G. Could someone show me a radio or APN setting that I could use?

Which carrier are you with? Every carrier has a different APN setting.

Nice to know it boots up. You could have backed up and restored APNs to get data to work.

Yea that's what I'm facing... I've even flashed back to 4.3 and used APN backup and restore but APN doesn't work with 4.4...
I just nandroid restored, but I only get 3g, no 4g. Not sure how my APNs are still screwed up despite a restore...
