it is possible, you only need to edit the settings.apk and .odex on your pc after decompiling it
obviously ROOT required

what should I change it so that my background screen turn black.
Root Explorer does not find the file settings.apk
com.Android.settings.apk that was found.
I do not know how or what to modify

You have to edit it on your PC after decompiling it. there you can change the color to Black. you have to know what you're doing.

Hey guys,

Whenever I alter the build.prop I get stuck with red LED and black screen. It doesn't matter whether I edit it with root explorer or whether I edit the file inside the zip befor flashing.
Any ideas how to solve this?

Oh yeah sorry...forgot to mention that...I just thought that other people might face this too...
I am on Quarx 11/02 build. I am trying to set the ring call delay from 3000ms to 300ms. I also tried to edit the values
ro.product.model from MB526 to MB525
ro.product.name from MB526_DFP to MB525_JOREM_U3
I touched nothing else.
thx in advance

I assume you used Windows to edit that file as there are CR/LF line terminators. Try the attached version which follows the normal Unix convention of ending lines with a single LF (I removed the CR's from the file you sent). If you use Windows to edit Unix-based files (Android is a (somewhat out of the ordinary) Linux distribution) you need to make sure you don't mess up the line endings; use an editor which respects the file's existing line terminators, eg. Notepad++.

Actually I edited it with the file viewer of the ESFileExplorer and it was saved in Unicode UTF-8. I tried to edit it with Notepad++ before but that also failed.
I will try it with your version and give feedback asap.
Thx!
EDIT: IT WORKS! Thanks again buddy!
Using the build.prop editor from the play store also solved the problem for me ... seems to be a issue from the ES file exploder?

How i modify android.policy.jar and where i found this text reboot options in the file
android.policy.jar
@Madii Mahdy: When @RubbaBand tells you if you don't know what the file is or how to modify it not to ask, there's a reason for it. Editing a system file, even something as trivial as a .jar file, requires a specific knowledge set that you simply do not have. Without that knowledge, you will likely brick your phone, and that's no fun at all.
Now, if you want to learn, there are tutorials on the Internet that can help you, but I hope you will understand that what you're trying to do is advanced stuff that cannot simply be provided in an itemized list. I've personally edited .jar files for an old tablet of mine to enable network location service, but it was a major pain in the backside, and that was only a slightly more complicated edit than what you want to do.

HELP! How to edit ICON SPACING in SystemUI

Hey guys! I just wanted to share my problem.
I want to edit the icons in status bar. I search it on Google on how to edit the icon spacing in the status bar and they say you need to edit "dimens.xml" but when I try to extract my systemui, I haven't seen that file. Which file do I need to edit? And what tools should I use in order to edit it? I'm using Motion rom anyway. Thanks in advance

How to change font for rooted MI A1 ?

Hey Guys ,
I know that there are ways to change font for rooted android ,
I tried Fixfont and ifont
However ifont shows error 7 when i change font and fixfont changes the font but only the basic fonts but others as clock , notification panel, status bar, launcher , etc there fonts are not changed any one can solve this issue...
Sorry for bad english
If your phone already rooted, you can change it manually using file explorer.
That's what I do with my phone.
Just navigate to system/fonts and replace all the files listed below to change the font including clock, notification panel, etc. Set the permission to rw-r-r
AndroidClock
DroidSans-Bold
DroidSans
Roboto-Black
Roboto-BlackItalic
Roboto-Bold
Roboto-BoldItalic
Roboto-Italic
Roboto-Light
Roboto-LightItalic
Roboto-Medium
Roboto-MediumItalic
Roboto-Regular
Roboto-Thin
Roboto-ThinItalic
RobotoCondensed-Bold
RobotoCondensed-BoldItalic
RobotoCondensed-Italic
RobotoCondensed-Light
RobotoCondensed-LightItalic
RobotoCondensed-Regular
Backup all your files and fonts first in case of something happens, and make sure the font weight are same before you trying to replace it. (i.e replace Roboto-Bold with Bold font).
I'm not responsible if your device bootloop or softbrick.

I'm not sure. But you can try search from here.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/themes/fonts-flashable-zips-t2964304
Btw, all the previous font that I used doesn't have all the mentioned files. I just make a copy of the files with the same weight and renamed it. For example, Roboto-Bold, DroidSans-Bold, and RobotoCondensed-Bold is all the same files. Only with different name.
for rooted phone please try fonster app its working super fine, ifont throws some error 7. when changing the fonts.
