I tried to download tmobile gs5 from 5.0 to 4.4.x and somehow my simcard is now not being detected. I upgraded back to 5.0 with odin. the firmware is crashing a lot. I am going to try to restore the efs and imei with kies but I need by serial.
The problem is my status menu in the about menu is completely white blank. Also the #06# code does nothing.
I tried to get the serial from ADB using twrp but that isn't the serial, kies won't accept it. What do I do?
Hello again folks,
I opened another thread regarding this problem I have, but since no one replied, I did some research and made some progress. Here's what happened: my cousin bought me an gt-i9301i in the UK, made a 5 min call or more with her SIM as instructed, and sent me the phone here in Brazil. When I received, the phone asked for the SIM network unlock PIN. I tried to unlock it by myself, with no success. Before sending it to a local store to try unlocking it, the only things I did were flashing a Chain Fire rom to root it, and then flashed a Stock rom to turn it back to its original state before sending it to be repaired. The store "unlocked" the phone, but now my IMEI is gone.
In the last days, I'm trying to fix it using QPST and the EFS Professional tools, as instructed in this thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...warning-guide-backup-restore-imei-nv-t1946915) and also this external tutorial (http://droidmodderx.com/galaxys3/?page_id=79).
I did the following procedures on my phone using its stock ROM, with USB debugging on, and tried with both root access turned on and off.
This is what I achieved so far: I connected my phone to QPST (by the way, the working code for my S3 Neo phone is *#0808#), and after turning on the RNDIS + DM + MODEM mode on, made a backup using the "Download" QPST tool. I tried to edit that backup (the file has about 260 Kb) using the "RF NV Manager", as instructed in the second post I mentioned, by going to the item 550 and writing my IMEI in blocks and everything, and then creating a separate QCN file. When I try to restore the new file using the Download QPST tool, which supposably has my IMEI number on it, I receive the message "Received an invalid command from the phone" at just 1%. When I try to restore the original backup, it goes to 100%, but in the end, I receive the message "Could not Reset the Phone. Communication Errors Occurred". When I try to edit my IMEI directly on the phone, when I reboot it and turn it back to MTP + ADB, my IMEI is still showing nothing.
Using the EFS Professional Qualcomm NV Tools, when I try to write my IMEI on the phone, using the Secure Ops. tab, I recieve an error message saying NV_ERR_BAD_SECURITY_MODE, and when I try to edit my QCN backup, I receive the message "Unable to write selected byte data to QCN Backup!".
Any thoughts on what else can be done to restore my IMEI?
Thanks
I have Damaged Huawei Y3 II with lock bootloader (no turn on - only recovery and fastboot). I tried to flash stock rom, but nowhere I could find him. I wrote to Huawei, they wrote back that at this time there is no such anywhere. I tried to unlock the bootloader using fastboot, but do not have a code that enables and I can not get it because the phone does not turn on, previously had no developer options. The only thing I know is the phone's IMEI number, serial number and a detailed model (Lua-L21) and the name of the software Lua-L21C576B105. I tried to generate the id of the product in HuaweiIdGenerator, but there is no such model, and I only need this to unlock the bootloader. Is anyone able to help me? Maybe someone can generate my ID od my Huawei phone? Thanks for the answers.

Hi What kind of phone
i used the SP_FlashTool_v5.1616.00 to download and update the firmware to marshmallow version 6.0.
i have used the "Format all + Download" option.
And it seems i have not saved the nvram and nvdata files.
now my phone boots and wifi and bluetooth works, but i have lost the IMEI and the Serial number and i can't use the SIM card.
it says No Sim inserted.
the help of your experts is highly appreciated, to allow me to recover the imei and the serial number.
(i have a snapshot of the previous original IMEI and Serial number)
thanks in advance.
Dears, I hope someone has any idea about what I can do...
Yesterday I had the G6 with fulmics ROM installed. I tried to make a factory reset with TWRP to clean everything was fine but I was not able to get out of the recovery. I was stuck in a recovery bootloop...
I tried this command from another thread:
Code:
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/platform/soc/624000.ufshc/by-name/misc
and I was able to get out of recovery, but now I was stuck at bootloop with the message "Your device is corrupt"
I let the battery discharge completely then I pressed UP button and inserted USB to my PC and I was in Download Mode.
With LG UP and Uppercut I loaded the image of the stock firmware I was having before and now the G6 is booting correctly when I have no SIM card inside.
If I put the SIM Card the process com.android.phone stops working continuously and I cannot have network connection...
I browsed the phone informations without SIM Card and I still have the correct IMEI inside but, the IMEIsv is 00 and the S/N of the phone is empty...
So, do anyone have any idea of what I can do to have it working back again?
I cannot unlock the bootloader again because the unlock.bin is related to the IMEI and S/N and one of them is gone....
Authorized service should repair it free of charge. By the way, tempering with S/N etc. is illegal and not supported by this community.
oh good, I was thinking I destroyed it completely. Tomorrow I will bring it to the LG service. Thank you!
