Hy guys. I got a question.
If I have an app that gets the licence based on a device IMEI, is there any way I could make it work on other devices?
Don't really know if it's a "legal" question but if you have any ideas let me know. Thanks a lot

First off you're in the wrong section of this forum. The 8525 isn't the Kaiser or Tilt, it is the Hermes
Here you go this is where you should be http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=254
Hey guys new here and new to Android. Got my phone last week and notice something that I'm not sure I if there's a solution for but thought I'd post up. So here goes, I bought my phone out of the US but I live and am using it in the Cayman Islands. My issue is for now is that there are no paid apps showing in the market, is this because of my location? Is there a way to get tis to work, like rooting and doing some custom ROM. Also totally new to the rooting and custom ROMs stuff I read and would really like to know the benefits and noobie understandable details - like searches I've done trying to educate myself always have abreviations and stuff that just totally turns the info into a French language class in that I get lost and have no idea what is being talked about or explained. If anyone can help me out with info or point me in a direction to help myself that would be awesome? Also been trying to find a vid or something of someone with a custom rom demonstrating the benefits so I can see what it does, that would also be great if anyone has that can share. Thanks alot guys for any help.
Hey guys,
Love the forum. Been searching around quite a bit, also bricked my HTC Snap S520 today. Should be getting a new one tomorrow.
It will be a Mobilicity HTC Snap and I know there are LOTS of people looking for the original ROM that comes with the phone so they can unbrick theirs. I would like to be able to help and provide one to everybody.
So, my question is; How do I create a complete and cooked ROM from my Mobilicity device so others can use it on their phones?
Well, I can see everyone is just jumping to help. I have the new phone, if someone lets me know if it's possible to help all these people with bricked phones, let me know.

If you want to learn how to cook, go to the chef central forums. There are some amazing tools to create your own custom rom.
If I want to back up the Mobilicity ROM for others, is it possible for them to use it? Or do they need to be HardSPL?

You should start by telling some of your ideas. Opening up a portfolio is an excellent way to impress!
Sent from my Galaxy Note II using xda app-developers app
If you are developer and if you are able to develop the creative application based on your idea, then i think is better you go ahead to develop the app first without telling anyone about your ideas. Else maybe you can find a partner or post your idea here. Thank you.

It could be possibly, but you would need the Geak Watch 2's device source tree adapted for Android 5.x or 4.4 at least. And have the knowledge required to compile it as an Android Wear ROM. So I'm sure it's definitely possible, but extremely difficult.
Hello,
