It could be possibly, but you would need the Geak Watch 2's device source tree adapted for Android 5.x or 4.4 at least. And have the knowledge required to compile it as an Android Wear ROM. So I'm sure it's definitely possible, but extremely difficult.
Hello,
I have this smartwatch.
And I want to unlock the bootloader.
Someone can tell me how to get into bootloader ?
Thanks in advance.
Best regards.

Hi Guys,
I'm using a sole Herald for testing, development and as my main phone. Having used the Android emulator which came with the SDK, based on QEMU, it got me thinking..why can't we develop an emulator for our OMAP850 based devices?
I don't come from an embedded systems/electronics background, so any pointers will be greatly appreciated! My specific questions are, what would be the hurdles to overcome?
Many thanks in advance!!
EDIT:
Quite interestingly, something similar has been done for a Nokia tablet, and for the very same purpose I intend using the emulator for (porting Android to our Wings and Heralds)!!

41 views and not a single reply???
C'mon all ye experts out there, suggestions please!!
I had this idea a year ago and I've searched a lot about it. Theoretically it is possible, but who has time to do this? AFAIK there is an emulator for the OMAP850 out there, AFAIR opensource. There should also be some other emulators who have things like wi-fi ready. It should be possible to "put" these things together. I only have two problems: 1. I haven't already programmed such things and 2. I don't have enough time to learn how to do that.
But if there would be an emulator... It would be great!
Hi rstweb,
Thanks for the reply/lead. I searched for AFAIR opensource but couldn't gather much. Do you have any links I could use??
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Many thanks..
Guyz,
First of all sorry to put this thread here. I know this is for android software. But i think this is only the place where i can get more people have sharp knowledge about android and kernel.
The problem is we are having a phone that is "HTC MEGA" with MSM7225 processor. We want to port android on this phone. But due to proper knowledge of android kernel it is bit hard for us.
WHAT WE HAVE IN OUR HAND NOW:------
1) Patched "haret.exe" for MSM7225.
2) A some of $87 in hand (we will collect up to $280 by Saturday of coming week.)
Thats all.
Now we need help of you guys. If anybody has any short of knowledge and know how to make it happen. They are most welcome.
Visit here you may help us http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=539
Thank you.
Hey guys I was hoping you could help me out. Great site here and awesome community. Can someone just simply give me the proper reading material in order to port this? I am trying android developing I use to do some minor developing but never with android, I will have about a year of free time and I was thinking I might as well be productive. Just a start, yes I googled it, and I just get lots of crap of games ported to android not how it was ported. Just some beginner sites would be awesome. I know I can't just port games I need to know android basics just don't know where to look
Maybe here: http://developer.android.com/guide/index.html ?

A port is in progress at hackcasual dot net
Help is most definitely welcome.
hey now that the bada zone is finally open i just wanted to know if there is any chance to port android to the wave i mean bada runs on linux so there must be a way.
i just want to know it for a friend that hate hes phone now coz of bada haha
i mean i have lgp500 with droid so i am happy if somebody got anynews please do report thx.
If you had some devs, who were ready to work on that project and if they found possibilities to have an breaktrough in to the Bada/Wave system, it would be possible to port Android to the Wave. But it still needs a lot of time and work to have an usable Android port. Some tried it some already resigned.
At the moment there are no big plans or progresses in this way.
By the way many smartphones/tablet OS runs on a Linux kernel. But it doesn't mean that they are similar to each other or that Bada is similar to Android.
Not to mention that the current bada phones don't use Linux for a kernel, but NucleusRTOS (as part of SHP). There is nothing in common with today's Android phones!
The JetDroid project is much closer.
There is already a thread open discussing this matter *HERE* so please post there as 2 threads talking about the exact same thing isnt productive to your goal.
Thread closed.
Mark.
