i have a problem with my note 3 and i cant find any solution.
when i put pdf files in my phone its seems that a indexservice drains all my battery very quickly.
is there any solution? because having pdf files in my note 3 is important for me.
i tried to create a .nomedia file in the folder that i have my pdfs but it was not effective
i tried to uncheck all search category from s finder and still nothing.
also when i delete all the pdfs from my phone the indexservice dissapears
please tell me a possible solution
thanks you
How many PDF we talking about?
Indexservice should stop after read all new PDFs.
Nomedia file can't work, PDF is not a media file [emoji16]

we are talking about 20 pdf with 200-300 pages each
can i stop indexservice before reading all pdfs?
Why you not let it run once?
Indexservice should stop after scanned all new files.

Hi Folks,
When i take pictures with the Google Camera in Portrait-Mode the pictures saved with 90° on the Leftside. The Gallery, Sammy and Google, show them correct. But when i share them or look into it with ES-Explorer they are turned.
Normally no Problem but wgen i share it e.g. with Hangouts its annoing.
Could it be a Problem with Xposed?
Listening to your answers.
Thanks

Impatient, are we?
There are several ways to do this. It's a common problem as a lot of developers don't use the Android audio focus API in the recommended manner. Or at least a consistent one. And then there is Samsung's love for playing notifications through speakers when you are using headphones...
Better music apps e.g. Poweramp Pro will enable you to do what you want.
Silence your phone (hence silencing notifications) when playing music.

Another way to do this -
Tasker can do anything!
If [specify music app] is running ---> Volume = 0 (or Silent Mode = ON)
exit task ---> Volume = X (where X is your preferred volume; or Silent Mode = OFF)
.

Hehe im a bit Impatient yes
and thnx for the help ive got my issue fixed
There's is an apk 'don't pause'
It will keep you notifications silent while playing music.

I am an ms access guy but I started playing with the aide interface for android. I bought the premium key and the next day it doesn't work on the interface. It says "Unlock all features" again. The app is running. The interface just doesn't recognize it. What happened?? Thoughts? (Other than I should stick to access if I can't even get aide to work)
Clear app cache of aide and premium key, deinstall both and reinstall them both. Maybee this helps

That worked, thanks. I uninstalled the premium key and it didn't charge me the second time. It looked like it was going to, but didn't. Now it works great.

You need to be rooted for it to work

Greenify works for non rooted phones as well. Just not automatically, you have to manually hibernate each app, also rehibernate after opening an app. There's a setting on the phone to choose and make it easier to do.
EDIT:.. Settings >accessories >greenify
Galaxy Note4

You don't need root.
You can also use automatic hibernate!!!
With root, you will have more options.
But....
Installing will mute voice feedback in s-voice and your calculator will talk to you on every input
It's a bug.

Lmao .. So greenify is why my calculator is talking to me.. Trip

The Workaround Option doesn't help.
Or what is your question?

you can use automatic configuration without using passcode or finger scanner for your lockscreen, once you close your phone it will automatically click the apps you configure without pressing the app.
Thanks. I jave a lockscreen pin because of the exchange email.
Got greenify on my new note 4 rooted but the apps dont show up at greenify to hibernate.. have a s4 and the apps like facebook and so on are there to choose hibernate or not.. but in the note 4 this doesnt happen , can you guys help?
I used greenifly ..but found no difference in battery life .
In fact, I tried it twice as the reviews are excellent.
There's many debates as to whether or not these apps help battery or not.. Some forums claim that it constantly has to work to close and stop apps running ? therefor does more harm than good ..my phone ? is not rooted
In my s4 it does a good work at the battery...but now in my note 4 it doesnt shiw all the apps like facebook and other social battery leechers.. don't know why because there are users that claim that they are using fine and working good with greenify.
