Use TriangleAway. It will make your device official. But it will not reset your Knox counter.

TriangleAway doesn't support S4 yet, respected Chainfire is on vacation, wait for him to return.

Version 1.90
I know there is a newer version but if I can't open it, I can't update it and the new one is $3.00. Do you think the newer one would work?

download the last version v 2.90 from Here. see if it is compatible with s4.
(some users report that it worked. DO IT ON YOUR OWN RISK!)
Triangle Away v2.90 is compatible with my rooted (MDF) S4 GT-I9505.
I can confirm that V2.90 works on my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 also.
I need confirmation for GT-I9500 please

See the attached ..
it works on the T-Mobile Galaxy S4 SGH-M919, at least the reset counter part, have not tried the reset the custom status in the status section in the settings
may be u didnt root ur device well
It's simple. As things stand Triangle Away works on rooted Qualcomm S4 phones (I9505) but not on Exynos (I9500, I9502 etc). Im sure Chainfire will rectify this in due course.

Hi there,
I installed v 2.90, run it, reset counter (it said 16), after that phone freezes, need to take battery out. After that reboot, but counter still shows 16.
Question: what did I do wrong?
PS: phone rooted!
Sonetimes you need to press the reset button a couple of times. Mine hung the first time too. Just run it and reset it again.

Your status needs to be set to "OFFICIAL" before you can reset the counter. Flash an unmodified recovery and set the temporary SU disable option in TA.

There is nothing you can do at the moment on the I9500. The latest ver (2.90) of Triangle Away is not compatible.
Hopefully someone will have a fix soon.
And for the I9505 ?

Have u rooted? After the update
Possibly camera apk would be having some issue
We can try replacing camera apk only if rooted
or
If possible flash stock firmware using odin it won't affect ur warranty also
And u can get the firmware link from my signature
I also suggest pls post such thing in Q & A u l. Have more replies rather creating a new thread

[Q] Confusion over S4 model

I have a samsung galaxy s4 with android version 4.2.2. I would like to update this to 4.4.2. I have tried to update it using the system update option in the phone as well as the kies on my PC. However, in both cases I receive the message of my phone having the latest firmware. Hence, in order to update my phone now I am planning to take the odin method. But I am not able to identify my s4 version. In the ODIN Mode the Product name is SGH-I337 whereas in my Phone settings the Model number is GT-I9500. I also input *#1234# in my phone dialpad and got the following results:
AP: I9500UCUAMDL
CP: I9500UCUAMDL
CSC: I9500UCUAMDL
Please can someone PRO help me with this as I am going crazy!

Yes you can, get the firmware you need and use the moded Odin that you downloaded to flash eng boot. It won't work with official Odin as far as I know.

Should work. I just used the modded odin to restore G930TUVS3APD8, as i was having severe issues with the rooting process. resetting up my phone now..
I can confirm FRP-Unlock isn't needed. I rooted with no frp-unlock, I just had to factory reset my phone when it got stuck on the tmobile splash.
Good to know
Can someone confirm the following?
1- does SamsungPay Still work after root?
2- Does Android Pay still work?
3- does rooting with this method trip Knox?
4- does installing Adaway break either Android or SamsungPay, or trigger Knox?
